I am admittedly pro-choice (le gasp)

The reason I joined this guild was because whilst I have no problem with first trimester abortions depending on situation, I believe that it should not take place after this. Also I do not believe the use of abortion is appropriate for casual situations, (like it says on the front page smile )

I am pro-life (obviously!) I'm 20 and live in the UK.
I'm also into environmental and animal issues.

I base my arguments not so much against Abortion, but against the weak and pathetic piece of legal work that is the Roe v. Wade Decision. The only way to get the baby killers to admit defeat is to destroy their Bible...

Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): I am pro-life because as a Christian I believe that an unborn is a person in the sight of God from the time of conception, and thus abortion should not be an option unless it is to prevent the death of the mother.
What about physical health to the mother?: Like I said above, I believe that the mother should be saved first in a life-threatening situation if there is no other option, however, from what I know most medical science has made this a very rare occurrence and in situations where it is not the life of the mother per se that is directly in danger, but a certain health matter, the doctors should do their best to save both.

Rape?: I'll admit that this is definetly a sensitive issue, and that during a time where a woman has become pregnant by rape she needs as much love and support as possible to help her overcome the ugly trauma of it all. However, should we really kill an unborn baby for the crime of their father? Besides, laws that have this exception have had problems in the past where some women seeking an abortion have reported falsely.

Views on the Death Penalty?: I believe that lawful government has the right to execute criminals that have been judged guilty by due process of law for severe crimes such as murder.

Are you vegetarian/vegan?: No.
Are there another ways you're pro-life?: I'm against euthanasia and assisted suicide, if this is what you mean.
