Sakura saw the boy from before come up to her. Not the best timing, but whatever. she thought to herself with a shrug. "Just seeing if everything's ok in here. There seems to be some sort of issue..." she answered as she knocked again, a tad louder but not in a rude way. "Is everything alright?" she said worriedly from the other side.

"Extremely fascinating. Cora spoke to you. She doesn't even barely talk to me, let alone to complete strangers like you."
Syvra stretched. This Demyx was interesting, and from the way he held himself, he was a clan leader. A very fine-looking clan leader, Syvra thought, her eyes closing in relaxation.
"And yes, I guess twin vampires is quite a thing to see. We're the only ones that have been born in centuries, or so our convent likes to tell us. We're basically showcased wherever we go. That's why we like this school. We can walk around without bodyguards and bragging convent members."

Cora watched Demyx. As she saw him brush off the ashes from his explosion, she saw him tense and look at her. Ah, so he thinks I saw, Cora thought. She could see the unvoiced question in his eyes, and while her sister droned on about a little of their history, she reached out to his mind in an effort to sooth him.
Do not worry, Demyx, she whispered to his mind, Your secret is safe with me. It will not even pass from my mind to my sister's.
She paused.
And if you so wish, I can leave so as to ease your discomfort.

Alice shrugged, the cat safely curled up in her arms. "Rose..I highly doubt Sirius here is a spy." She said as the cat gave a small meow as if to punctuate Alice's sentence. She then got up and walked over to the door and opened it.

"Whatever you say..." Rose mumbled as she moved away from Alice to settle into the room. She placed her hand on the wall and closed her eyes. Nothing happened for a long time, but finaly small white roots began to pulse from her fingertips. The roots crawled across the wall, becoming green and increasing in size and number. Small heart-shaped leaves unfolded from the stalks, follwed by the buds of soft yeallow, pink and blue flowers. Rose moved away from the wall, smiling fondly at her creation. She wiped her brow, where sweat had formed from the exertion of creating life from her own energy.

For some reason, Demyx trusted that this Cora was speaking the truth about not spilling his secret.He had struggled not to flinch at the intrusion of his mind. It was a sensation he had experienced only a few times before, and even when warned, it caught him by surprise. But it wasnt unpleasent to him. Infact, he rather prefered it to the horrid banter of most people.
He wondered to himself if these sisters often kept secrets from each other, or if this was uncommon. He let it go, focusing once again on the conversation.
"Well Im flattered, then, that your Cora chose to speak to me at all." He nodded at her, and then opened his mind to her's once more.
No....stay. I dont mind you. Either of you. Stay. He tried to sooth Cora, but he wasnt sure how successful his attempts were.
"This isnt exactly the place I would go to to try and find peace, Syvra. This place....it is....." He sighed deeply. There were so many words, but he felt that he could not finish. This place was supposed to be home. "It isnt perfect," He finished in a low voice.

Sakura saw the door finally open, and a moment before doing so she gulped a bit out of nervousness. But it was small and almost non-existent, and as she looked about the room behind her and the one who had opened the door, she bowed slightly but confidently in speech. "I'm sorry to bug you all in the middle of conversation, but is everything ok? I noticed one of you were limping as you came up." she answered.
In her mind, she was quite surprized to see both vampires and elementals in the same room. This was a rare occurance, and she thought the flowers on the wall looked quite pretty. Perhaps something was up, or perhaps she was being to judgemental. Either way, it was a nice change as opposed to the cliques.

Even though I'd love a chance to fight a Lupine, she thought, her lip raising and exposing a fang at the thought. I hate Lupines.
"And I must get to know you better. Cora rarely connects eyes with people, let alone talks, and then she does both for one person she's never met? Really, how did you accomplish such a thing?"

Cora smiled at the thoughts running through his head.
Rarely do I keep secrets from my sister, Demyx, and I find it quite refreshing that you also appreciate this kind of communication. As my sister said, I rarely deign to speak at all, and if so, I have to think it important enough to utter.
She paused in her thought-speak, aware of her sister talking and the thoughts and feelings creeping along their connection from the more outgoing twin. She blocked them, and then continued with her 'conversation' with Demyx, smiling inside as she relaxed, feeling Demyx's soothing touch on her mind.
Thank you, Demyx, for inviting me to stay.

Rose intergected quickly.
"Yes yes, everything is fine. Alice, " she waved a hand vaguely over at the girl, "Is new here. She was taking in the nice view we have here, and, not watching her footing, happened to stumble over a rock. Happens to the best of us, but still embaracing, so lets not spread that around, for the sake of the new girl's repuation." Rose smiled kindly as she lied through her teeth, laughing when apropriate and playing her part. She could be serious when the time called fer her to be. "Luckly our little clutz wasnt hurt. Not a scratch. Her ankle feels fine, just as long as she doesnt bump it. Thank you so much for being concerned." She saw the girl eyeing the flowers. "Ohhhh, I see you like those. Pretty, eh? Alice made them. She is an earth elemental, just like me. Thats why we share a room."

Extra: Jack is not actualy Demyx's brother,. He is, infact, his cousin. Jack was once very close to Demyx, but the mysterious death of his family at the hands of a tragic fire caused the boy to close up. No one questioned this, but welcomed the blessing of seeing him happy once more. But was he completely back to normal?

Alice gaped at Rose as she blatantly lied to this girl. She quickly composed her shocked expression and smiled weakly at the girl. Feeling quite guilty. She was never good at lying, nor did she like doing it. In her opinon, it never ended well. "Well it was nice meeting you, but I must go I have some..er..unpacking to do. Hope to see you around again!" Alice said hastily before Rose could dig her hole deeper. When she shut the door she turned to Rose. "Im an Earthie now?" Alice said, not bothering to conceal her worry. She didnt know how she planned on keeping this lie up. "I dont think you understand. I cant lie. Seriously. You might as well give me a wooden nose and call me Pinnocio because people will see right through me." As Alice ranted her hand gestures got out of hand and she hit her knuckle on the wall, creating a small cut on the back of her hand.

Demyx shrugged. "Im...not sure....Honestly, Im not much of a "people person." I dont like them much, anyway. Think im alergic...." He scratched his head, seeming to fall into the thoughts of his mind. He was quiet for a long moment, and then looked back up, seeming as though he didnt notice that he had drifted off at all. Truth was, he did this often, and most people learned to ignore this. He was a person of many thoughts and actions, but People have been saying for years that the war will soon and, and yet..." He shrugged once more. "....and yet, here we are, mourning or ignoring the death around us. Wethere or not you are for the war, you are in it. Peace....no, peace is not possible." He rubbed his temples and sighed wearily. "I apologize. Being a clan leader isnt all fun and glory as it looks."

Sakura had not had a moment to get a word in when the door had shut in her face. She stood there silently a moment to take in what she just heard. Most of it was obviously a lie; there wouldn't be that many people in there for the sake of one who just merely tripped over a rock. It would have been more believeable, if she hand't seen a small fraction of surprise come across the other girl's face at the older girl's responce. She knew that the girl's name and her first time here was true, but she wasn't sure on the rest of it.
She sighed and went back to her room; it was going to be a very long, very lonely year. It was bad enough that most of the Lupines had gotten expelled last year due to fights, but she also had NO way of contacting them at all, and she wasn't the best at making new friends.
She sat on her bed as a song played softly in the backgroud, and she looked at the dolls about the room. They were her friends, and had always been.

Syvra cocked her head to one side, opening her slightly glowing eyes, and gazed at Demyx with an unblinking stare. He's pretty young to be a clan leader, she thought, surveying the youth of his face tempered with exhaustion. ...he looks really hot when he thinks. The tidbit of thought ran across her mind and down the twins' connection before she could stop it, when Demyx had looked down and his face had relaxed, if only for a second.
What unnerved Syvra even more was her twin's reaction. She felt a shudder in their connection. She glanced quickly over at Cora, an confused look on her face, but couldn't gage a physical reaction before Demyx started speaking again. She looked away slowly, a frown on her face.

Cora felt the thought speak to her mind. He looks really hot when he thinks.
Her insides recoiled from the thought, causing the smooth connection between the twins to shudder. How dare she!, she thought, growing steadily angrier by the second, but not revealing it on her face. Only a few seconds had gone by since the shudder in their connection before she couldn't stand being in the same clearing anymore with a certain person.
She leaped into the trees with a whisper, and was gone.

Demyx looked on in stunned silence as Cora left their company without a word of goodbye. She had given no indication of being upset or in a hurry to get somewhere. At first he had thought she had simply moved out of his line of vision, but no, she had disapeared.
"Cora?" He asked aloud in confusion, his eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of her glowing eyes. But his search was in vain. There was no glint of cunning eyes or a touch of the mind.
"What is wrong with her, Syvra?" His face of stone looked almost worried.
"Should we go after her?"
Cora? He focused on the thought of her name with a strange hope that he would be answered.
"Demyx? Demyx! Where the hell are you?"
Demyx spun around in surprise as a different voice called out for him, echoing through the forest. He knew that voice, and realized at the mention of his name that he had been gone from his post for a very long time.
"Jack? I am here. Stop worrying, I am safe."
A moment later, a figure that looked very much like him emrged from the forest. His cold eyes scanned the vampire that stood so near his cousin.
