Inariie glanced over at the younger woman, slightly surprised. Artemis wasn't given to chitchat. "I was just telling him to get out of there before some impetuous and annoyed girl just out of training put a spear through him." She shrugged. "Actually, he seems like a nice enough kid. Very polite."

"I doubt he would have survived if he wasn't," Artemis replied, remembering their first meeting. But still there was something about the boy. Something about his spirit brought to mind a story she was told when she was younger. A story of a blond haired boy from the forest who rescued her anscestor from a pair of witches. It had been a very long time since she had heard the tale, the details were blurry. She was sure if she asked, Lyra would probably be able to recite it by heart, her sister had always been into that sort of fairy tale. For the moment though the story did not matter, "Alright, we had better help set up, Lord Gannon shall most likely wish us back soon."
(no the story was not a mistake, yes most of Link's tale was lost, but still, Nabooru was kidnapped in the past, so it makes sense that even in this reality, at some point Link returned to the spirit temple to free her)

Inarrie nodded and dismounted, giving her horse an appreciative pat on the neck. She took a tent off of one of the pack horses, then paused. After a second she turned back to Artemis. "Did you see the Princess? Was there anything odd about her?"

"She appeared as though she were trying to hide something, no doubt her displeasure in this union. But who could blame her, I'd rather die before being made to live with a man for the rest of my life, they are disgusting creatures. How is she to know That our Lord is the exception."

Inariie snorted. "I don't care about her; it was Lord Gannodorf's reaction to her that was disquieting. Did you catch it? There was a pause, right after she first spoke and right before he dismounted. It shouldn't have been there." She frowned thoughtfully, then started setting up the tent. After a second, she continued. "I couldn't see her, so I didn't know what he was reacting to."

"Nothing, I believe that is what he was reacting to," Artemis replied then noticed her answer did not seem sufficient, "Her face was blank, with someone like Lord gannon infront of her and an entire army carrying torches behind him, one would think she would at least be nervous or shy, but she wasn't. She simply spoke like a china doll."

Inariie's frown deepened. "I suppose that could be it. That would certainly intrigue him." She couldn't explain why she didn't like Gannondorf's reaction, but she hadn't, not one bit. She glared at a strand of bright red hair that had come out of it's ponytail, and smoothed it back into place.
Suddenly something occurred to her, and she looked back to Artemis, her expression curious. "Why did you ask about the boy? He seemed like just a normal kid. Cute though. I could see your sister flipping over him," she said, smiling. She had a bit of a soft spot for Lyra.

"He just reminded me of a story my mother used to tell me, of this boy who against all odds managed to rescue the leader of the Gerudos almost a hundred years ago. She had been brainwashed and locked away in the Spirit temple. She sat there for three years trapped in a suit of armor until one day some kid came along and saved her and destroyed her captors. Apparently they had met the very day she was first taken. She had given him the task of retrieving the silver gauntlets from the temple because he was small and agile. It's that part of the story to which he reminds me," She stated as she demounted her horse, "Are you aware of how he managed to get into the town? He climbed over that wall." Artemis smugly pointed at the tall walls surroounding the city and waited for a reaction.

Inariie glanced at the wall and smiled wryly. "Clever boy. To clever for his own good, I think." She finished putting up the tent and reached for another one.

"I agree," Artemis smirked then turned around. There were two girls who seemed to be doing nothing, this she could not allow, "What are yu doing talking, you've got tents to pitch. I catch you slacking off again and there will be no food for three days."

Hyn bent over slightly, catching Kohana before she could hit the ground. Her skin felt dry, perhaps almost cracked. She needed to get to water, and the best he could think of was the moat. Unpleasant, perhaps, but desperate circumstances called for desperate measures. Picking her up something like a child, he made a quick, short walk back to the bridge. Hoping that she would recover quickly after getting to the water, he got as low to the water as he could then dropped her in, waiting for her to come back up again.
Ganondorf followed after the princess. He had taken the liberty of freeing himself from his guards for a quite specific reason: he didn't want to be caught with the probably clear distraction he was undergoing. Every moment, he was more and more distressed, because he found himself being caught by the girl's beauty. Now he almost felt guilty for bringing the army. Well, maybe he wouldn't love her, but he would most definately do what he could to make her life easier. Then he tried to rid himself of the thoughts, but found they wouldn't go. Almost frightened, he gave himself a little margin between the girl and him.

Kohana felt herself hit the water. Seeming to simply drop like a stone, she was actually allowing the water to revitalize her. After several minutes, she kicked out with her feet and arose to the surface of the...
"The moat?" she asked, looking slightly dazed. For a moment, she couldn't remember what had just happened. Then it came back to her.
"Sorry about that, umm..." she started to say before remembering that she didn't know the man's name.
"Thank you..."

Zelda became aware that Gannondorf was pulling back and stopped, looking back at him. "Is there a problem?" The real Zelda noticed with an unexpected rush of sympathy that he looked distinctly uncomfortable, perhaps even a little frightened. A small crack shot through the porcelain. "Are you unwell?" she asked, her voice, if not her face, softening slightly.
Inariie looked at Artemis incredulously. "That's a bit harsh, don't you think? They've been marching for days, and not everyone is as used to it as we are."

Ganondorf reddened impercetably. "No, all is well; lead on." Cursing himself for his undying stupidity and blatant nature, he followed her again, less cautious than before, having quite enough of his own stupidity (and how to avoid showing his thoughts on his face) to think about.
Arryl came up behind Artemis and Inariie, with some degree of silence. "Hate to interrupt what seems like a lovely conversation, but did any of you notice anything funny about Ganondorf back there? I thought I was imagining it, but..." She glanced to one then the other, looking for some sort of confirmation that she wasn't absolutely insane.
"Sir Hyn Lagon," he provided. "You're welcome; it wasn't that big of a deal." Here he glanced darkly to the Gerudos who were busy encamping. "If I were in charge, they'd be stuck outside now... but that wouldn't be wise. One thing would lead to another and we'd be all the more doomed." Hyn shook his head and sighed. "Dark times. Gerudos extend their power over us too much for comfort."
