(I really feel like posting in hopes that Yero will come to talk to Whinn... then maybe move to a private one on one :3)
Whinn yawned and stretched herself out, opening her grey eyes to the darkness of her newly dug, cozy den. Yero had made it perfect for them; location, depth, everything. It'd been a pretty quiet night; she'd slept soundly through most of it with the comfort of Yero by her side. But when she awoke she found that no one was there beside her. Where had Yero gone? Getting up, she stepped out the shallow opening to their den, shaking the loose dirt that clung to her pelt free. She scanned the area, sniffing for a fresh scent trail. Hmmm... She'd been thinking a lot lately...
Thinking about their future together; thinking about moving back to where they'd come from. Sure, they had a perfectly fine home right here and it was even on the same river she grew up on, but she really felt the nostalgia calling her to go back home; to her part of the river, her woods and sands and trout and other fish that swam in her river. Yes, now she wanted to call it hers. She wishe Yero was near.
Scanning the area again and still no sign of the handsome black male, she tossed back her head, sending out a howl that shot through the air with piercing directness. It wasn't a call to just anyone; it was a call for him. She and he needed to talk about the future; and the sooner the better.

(( *wiggs out* Hi all. Sorry I've been gone for like. THREE WEEKS or something. I'm kind of swamped in Bio stuff. My AP test is soon though and I'll be able to get on much more frequently x_x *loffs on Jade, Les, and Shia!* ))

Soul lay on her side as she watched the pack do their buisness. Her head struggling to stay up. She was waiting for Isaac and Aoiko. Her tail thumped on the ground as she lay deep within' the den they had made.

or skimming them atleast. Should i wait for Yin to be recerted before RPing him or.. wha? =D *shot*

Elphie thumped her feathered tail as Soul approached. A friendly face! This was more like it. Flattening her ears in a short burst of excitement she gave a soft yip, and slapped at the ground once with a large paw to greet her fox-colored friend. For all intensive purposes, the big shewolf was just a big puppy, greeting a packmate gladly. She rocked back on her haunches as Soul questioned the male.

At the sound of the howl, Yero perked up his inky muzzle immediately, his ears flagging upward to stand erect. He hesitated for but a moment, wine colored eyes scanning over the foreign male once more in a cursory glance. But he was eager to leave. Neka had not shown any aggressive behavior and didn't seem likely to. Both Elphaba and Soul seemed friendly with the brown wolf, so Yero would trust his packmates. He had the decency to feel a twinge of sheepishness for his curt behavior, but then when had he ever adhered to any social conduct other than driest formality other than with Whinn? Whinn. Right. He rose himself to his feet and rumbled a sort of goodby--well, more an announcement of his departure as he didn't make eye contact with any of the other wolves. His tail trailed low for a moment as his short legs quickly carried the compact wolf in the direction of his mate, then rose into a soft wag of anticipation. He gave a quick succession of low barks, apparently not feeling like a howl, and was quick to appear in his beloved's vision. "You called?" He wuffed with a roguish grin, the wag in his tail increasing.

As Soul retreated a bit, Elphie's ears again tilted back slightly. This time the motion showed hints of timidity, as a doe that swivels her ears at the slightest sound as if to protect her own skull. Elphie didn't like feeling timid, and if she hadn't had such a thick brown coat one might have seen her flush. She hadn't missed the implied hint in Soul's last comment and it made her nervous. Truth be told it also made her... happy. But the anxiety was quick to swamp that. Neka already seemed unsure about joining the pack and she didn't want to scare the male off. She cleared her dry throat and opened her jaws slightly in a nervous smile, panting gently as her green eyes flickered, looking for something to focus on that wasn't Neka. A clumsy "Uh--" tumbled from her mouth.

Neka hardly seemed bothered by the comment...one might daresay that a sparkle lit his eyes that few had ever seen. Humped shoulders shrugged slightly as Soul moved away and he glanced at Elphie, tongue lolling from his jaws in a very easy-going manner.
"Yeh alrigh'?"

Soul, licking at her black nose, grinned slightly to the flustered look upon Elphie's features. She then looked away, laying her head back onto the dirt covered den Ground, and letting out a long needed sigh. Her golden eyes closing slightly from exhaustion. She thumped her tail on the ground slightly as she continued her wait for Isaac and Aoiko.

Isaac emerged from the den Soul had dug them, slightly stiff but well rested. He yawned widely, stretching his front paws out infront of him, before straightening up again and shaking his coat briskly.
He spotted Soul laying in the dirt, his features raised and he began hobbling towards her. He'd developed a promenant limp/hop, being that he couldn't put weight on one leg, the knee damaged beyond repair. The limp would lessen eventually, gaining a rhythm as if he were walking with four good legs, but for now his forelegs weren't strong enough.
Still, he seemed unphased, coming up behind Soul his head tilted in recognition as he reguarded Elphie, then nodded briefly in a 'Hey, how d'you do.' kind of gesture.
Moving closer to Soul he peered over her with a lazy grin. "Hey there, gorgeous. You been out here long?" He bent to lick at her cheek then flopped down next to her.
Edit: Aw crap, Soul was inside the den, wasn't she. X) Hrm.. I can't very well edit this, so erm.. *cough* >D
((I've never been able to pronounce Aoiko.. :X You know when you read a book and there's an unusual and hard to pronounce name, you kinda skim over it the first time.. And then after that every time you come across it it's kind of a mumble.. Or you pronounce it differently every time? (Hermione in HP got me. :B)
I do that with Aoiko.. X) Mostly it's a mumble, sometimes it's Eyko, sometimes Oyko, Ayoyko.. Aieeko, or even Aweeko. XD
How Do you pronounce it?))
