Tazuya looked at Sarubachi and was feeling quite irratated. "Why are you here in the first place?" Tazuya asked as he got up and walked over to Sarubachi. Sarubachi simply smiled and answered joyfully, "I am here on a secret mission." Tazuya raised an eyebrow to this statement and question the very idea in his head. "What you don't believe me?" Sarubachi said teasingly. Not interested in the slightest bit, Tazuya turned his back and was about to start walking off to the warp gate in this town until Sarubachi stepped in front of him. "I am serious." Sarubachi spoke more seriously and commanding this time. "We have recieved reports of glitches in the system that were not able to be scanned." Sarubahi then stroked his beard in deep thought. "Of course I was sent to solve the problem. I just havent found it yet."

Jake wasn't sure if he was to appear in court or not. He had been in prison for several days, fed nothing but bread and water, and chained to the wall 24/7. This was obviously before habeas corpus was invented.
One day, possibly 9 days since he had been incarcerated, several guards arrived to his cell. One of them said...
__________________________________________________________ "The Inquisition has reached it's verdict. You are to be burned at the stake on the first day of the month. It is currently the 27th."
"What?" Jake could hardly speak, not just from surprise, but also from malnutrition. "This is ludicrous. I haven't even presented my defense!"
"That's not our problem. You have exactly 3 days left. I would enjoy them as much as you can." All but two of them left. The ones remaining guarded. __________________________________________________________
Jake could hardly believe this was happening. How could they have possibly allowed teens into this? How was this place built? Why was this place built? Why did I come here? What's wrong with me?
He waited out the next 3 days without complaint. He gratefully ate what they thought would be his last meal. But Jake wasn't planning on dieing yet.

10 days... that's how long it took for Clint to ride into Caliknistern... He arrived and asked for Jacob as instructed. All he got from the blacksmith was a sigh. He walked outside and saw posters for what must have been the town's main event, Crucifictions... Would there be a way to make rescue Jake from the dungeons in time? No, there were too many guards. He'd have the whole country after him if he did that, if not from traditional laws of the country then sheer will of the programmers to kill him. Since he was stuck here, who knew what happened when you died in the virtual world. Too many horror movies had he seen where if you die in the virtual world you die in the real world too.
No, this'd have to wait until the very last minuet. He'd wait until Jake was brought to the cross, out in the open where his guns and fire could do the most damage... Hopefully they would tie him to the cross instead of using nails otherwise his window of opportunity was indeed very small... Until then, he'd stay in the hotel.
As he climbed into bed for another night passed in the virtual world he looked over and saw written on the wall: "I hear you. There are problems here, I don't think there's a way out. Tell me a place where we can meet to speak in person. My name is Clint." Hopefully no one noticed that, and thankfully no one asked for his name at the counter. It turns out he'd get his meeting after all...

Jake was carried out of his cell, and into the daylight, the sunlight nearly blinding him. There was a huge crowd formed, all booing and shouting to burn the witch. As he was tied to the cross, he thought to himself"Goddamnit, Clint, where are you?". He was surprised his thoughts were so calm.
They lit the flames, shouting about sending him back to Hell. If Clint was here, he would only have a few seconds to act.

Tazuya was still irratated and didnt really care for this problem. "Why should I care? It's none of my concern." Tazuya said silently as he turned his back to Sarubachi and began walking away. "You really think so, eh?" Sarubachi said with confidence. "If you dont help then the online world will be put to rest and you wont be able to come here ever again..noone will." Tazuya stopped, thinking about the people he had met, especially Ruckis. She was his only friend that had hung around him for even 2 minutes. He thought hard, then turned to Sarubachi and said, "If I help you, then I want a free copy of this game and a month free for online connections." Tazuya was truely being selfish in Sarubachi's eyes, but it didnt matter to him or Sarubachi. "Okay, fine. Just assist me and I can promise you that." Sarubachi said in defeat. "Okay, lets go." Sarubachi said. "It's time to find the source of these bugs."

Standing there, Andrew got bored waiting, so he stepped out of the clearing and away from the forest into the city, standing there, a shiver crept along his spine, he really should not be here, it was too late, and he fell down unconscious, having been hit on the back of the head with a hammer. the civilian was torn to shreds by his golem, who eventually was torn apart by the regenerating mob. Andrew was dragged to the cellar and locked away, where he was tied to a pole, and left there for the Inquisitors.

Clint overlooked the event from a nearby building rooftop. He had pulled out a rifle, specially tuned just for this occasion. He'd have only a few seconds as the flames rose and the guards backed away to watch themselves to shoot off the straps and snipe anyone who reacted. His finger squeezed the trigger just before the blasting point, inching ever closer. "Wait for it..." But before the moment came, some noob jumped out of the forest, sprinkled some water onto the fire, yanked out the guards canteen, and blew hot air at the crowd.
He raised the alcohol filled container to Jake's straps as if it were a knife and he was cutting him free, but only poured the beer onto the fire, then turned away and threw his arms into the air as if victorious. The crowd even cheered as he had sped up the burning process. "He should be wondering why the guards aren't reacting to him at all." Said clint aloud just before shooting the pole itself, weak from the flames. "Use some better wood next time dumbsh*ts..." Jake fell backwards just out of the flames reach.
Clint used his control of fire to make the flames rush at the crowd in the shape of a demonic hand, burning some whilst scaring away others. He leapt down from his roost, waked strait up to Jason and said, "Are you drunk or just stupid?" He zapped the straps on the stake just enough to set Jake free, then held out his hand to help him up. "Sorry bout your feet." He said exclaiming that Jakes were now burned.

I'm strait, but I've been told to take that sort of thing as a compliment from people like you, so thanks for the compliment, but no thanks for the offer. )) Clint thought for a moment about the rather rude comment made by the drunk, and wondered. This was supposed to be an E rated game, so why weren't the curse words censored out? Regardless, this seemed like a rather unsavory character. Unbenownst to Clint of course, this was the man who started Jason's problems in the first place, or else he would've torched him along with the crowd.

((1) because I have nothing better to do. 2) Because if you go back to why he was thrown in prison in the first place, you were the source of the problem... It just wouldn't make sense for the problem starter to be the rescuer. 3) Because you were illiterate and clearly in a hurry with your typing, it only makes sense that your character reflects this.)) "Stupid drunk..." Said Clint.

As Jake was helped up, he began to contemplate what had just happened, and what was going on at that moment. He saw two men bickering, one of which he recognized as the same one who got him into this mess in the first place! And he had nearly just killed him again! Sophmoric drunken buffoon!
He approached the one who he could only guess was Clint and said
"We should go now. I've seen what this noob does," clearly suggesting that the other one was the one who had caused his imprisonment.

Clint could see no place to go that would help them exept for what the old man said to him. Zar's castle. Apparantly it was thier way out, but he also said it was suicide to enter, meaning they'd have to be at a high level. Clint Just so happened to notice a wristwatch then with the game's emblem on it. "Now how the heck did I get this?" he said aloud. He tapped the glass because it didn't appear to have any hands. A hologram appeared with icons that looked like professional bubble-crystal style versions of clint's hacker interface. It was the menu for the game...
He touched the icon that said "character stats.", and looked at his own. "Level one." it said. "WHAAT!!!" Clint, shocked by the fact he was still level one, reveiwed exactly all that he had killed so far. "Let's see, A giant centipede monster in the arena. That didn't count because I hacked to beat it though... and those people just now didn't count either... Hey Jake what are your stats?" He looked over at Jake. "Jake?" Waving his hand in front of Jakes face he noticed that he wasn't moving. He poked Jakes shoulder to see if he could move and his hand went through him. Then he tried to move over to Jason and do the same thing to see if he could move, but he found that his feet were glued to the ground! "Ah Crap..." He saw how this kind of code could be used against him later.
He undid the menu screen and things returned to normal. "Well I think we should go somewhere to level up." Said Clint. "I'm still a level one despite the display, and we need enough strength to get through Zar's castle."
