Ardrick tries and fails to make a dramatic entrance into the tavern. He sighes as everyone chuckles. He is standing, legs apart and hands on his hips. He quickly gets into a regular position and walks to the bar.
"I'll be 'avin' a mug o' water if ye don' mind... me ear is 'urtin' again an' I think its all the rum."

walking the busy streets, Tocal wanders around aimlessly for something ... anything to do to get her mind off .. off her horrid memories that plagued her night and day. Trying to cover herself up a bit more with her soft green Shawl, hears quite a commotion in a nearby tavern 'Hmm ...? ' she thought 'Sounds like it's a rather lively establishment .. i'll see what it can provide fer entertainment' walking towards the tavern, a lock of Tocals red hair falls into her eyes, forcing her to brush it away. Pushing into the tavern doors, ducks down just in the nick of time before a empty bottle of rum flies across the room nearly hitting her on the head " WOAH?! what in tarnations?!!" looking around the tavern for a safe passage towards the bar, Tocal pushes her way through. Plopping down onto a stool, then leaning on the counter, Tocal waits for the bartender to come to her. The bartender seems to catch a glimmer of Tocal waiting patiently for him, so he comes by her with a wide grin " how can i be helpin' ye Lass?". Tocal snaps out of her stupper and looks up at the Bartender " Oh! .. umm ... I'll just be havin' a good mug of Ale if you'd be so kind, and .. " pullin' out a single gold coin then placing it on the counter " if you'd be so kind as te tell me of anyone by the name of Kurisutofa?" letting the name roll off her tongue, she had a proposition for him, and had been looking for him the past 6 towns, all had heard of him, but no one seemed to know his whereabouts. The bartender looked down at the coin, seemed inclined to give up what he knew, but havin' the respect he did for the Captain, he asked " Lass .. what ye be wantin with a scoundrel like that?", Tocal gave him a menacing look "Scoundrel or not, my business with him be not of your concern, and seeing as you don't seem interested ... " pulling her gold coin down from the countere top and back into her bag " ... in telling me anything about him, i'll just be havin' me ale and be off"

OK... ok... you've had your fun. Let's not make her feel unwelcome.
Look, as far as things go, you've not had a good start.
The following is what you should have done:
- Visit the (obvious) 'WELCOME' thread.
- Post your Character Bio on the 'Introductions/Crew Bio' Thread
- Visit the Ship's Main RP & READ BACK AS FAR AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE.
- Then, like a good RP'er, you would determine what the best way to introduce yourself into a Roleplay would be.
Your RP Intro was good... for an illiterate 8 year old. I'm sorry, but you really must know every recent happening to introduce yourself into the Roleplay. It's like entering an entirely new world. Sure, you will learn in time, but you must come into it with a little common sense.
I recommend posting in this thread until you've learned as much about the ship's RP history as you ever could know. Read back the last 12-20 pages and see what you find. If your not willing to do that, at least pay close attention to the RECENT POSTS. I had just posted that the ship was docked and the crew was readying to go ashore. And then you rowed out to where the ship wasn't and climbed aboard and prepared to stowaway, in which I mustn't tell you... isn't logical.
Once you've read up on whats going on, could you please access the situation and introduce your character in the RP once more. This time, come to me directly. I'm currently about to visit the Naval Yard. Why don't you come to me looking for work? You have a wonderful character background history... why don't you use it?

*Puts a sackful of money on the counter (Most of which was stolen from various places), and attempts to cheer up the captain in the best way she knew how..By giving him a positive challenge*
