Wow, that was amazing. House just let him go? Chase got off the chair and out of the room as fast as he could without running. Was he fired now?
...

Did he care?
If he was truly honest to himself he had to admit he really didn't. What he did care about this moment was about Wilson. What did he have to say about this? How would he feel? Was he even present today?

He went to Wilson's office and knocked the door impatiently, but without waiting for a reply he (tried to?) open the door.

Wilson focused on his paperwork, thinking about how the future was going to be. Being friends with House at the moment did not feel different, but he knew it would eventually. He needed to find someone else to fill the void in him, the one with the need to love and be needed. Besides, House probably never really needed him around; he just simply enjoyed his company. It always appeared as if House did not need anybody, so how was he any different? With a heavy sigh, he ran his fingers through his hair, until his attention was captured by someone bursting into his office.

Chase wanted to say, ask and do lots of things. He hadn't really sorted everything out in his mind and at the moment he wasn't able to, either. He felt confused, angry, nervous, but none of these feelings were physical. They were all fighting in his mind, trying to find out which of them would appear as 'Chase's mood' right now.
The only thing he physically felt this moment was the place on his shoulder that was probably going to be a bruise later.

Also, he couldn't quite figure out what he was going to say. If he would give himself a chance to think about it he would have probably concluded there was nothing to say. But then again: there was SO MUCH to say! So many thoughts and feelings he had he really wanted to express, but no way he could express them!
On the surface, he remained calm. His tone, however, appeared to be attacking.
"You're gay and you kissed House?"

Hate, it was a feeling that House felt often, and now was no exception. But right now he couldn't figure out who he hated more, Chase or himself. He threw his cube at the wall with a force hard enough to break it. He growled and buried his head in his hands. He couldn't stand being alone with himself, he needed somebody, anybody, he would prefer Wilson or Cuddy.

He decided to head to the pharmacy department and see if he could get some vicodin, it would at least help him get through the day. He got out of his chair and limped out of his office, cane in hand, he turned and locked the door. He headed down the hallway alone, the story of his life.

Wilson looked shocked at Chase, more so once Chase actually stated what was on his mind. After a few moments of Wilson sitting in baffled silence, he sighed, his face growing more aggravated as he turned away from Chase to face the wall in front of him. Damnit, one of Houses team spotted them, now it would be all over. He still hated the fact he was gay, now the rest of the hospital would feel the same. His fingers rubbed harshly into his eyes, why did House have to go and kiss him? Now all the feelings from last night were coming back to him.

It would have been easier if House just kept his feelings to himself until he was ready, at least then it would have not outed Wilson to everyone. If House would have actually become his lover, then facing everyone else would be easier, but that was not the case. Now, he was left to endure this on his own, no lover by his side and feelings of wishing House would have not told him he loved him. He sighed again, the following might have come out as more harsh then he intended, but he was too anger and afraid of being discovered.

“House was only joking…and I’m not gay………House just likes to use the shock factor on people.” he replied.

After which he cursed to himself. That long silence after stating he was not gay did not make it more believable. Sure, House doing that to get a kick out of someone, laugh at their reaction, that all made sense. But his pausing after telling the lie made the whole thing unbelievable. He sighed, what was the point. The last thing he wanted was to cause drama between House and his team. Turning in his chair, he faced Chase once more; all he could do now was ask for him to keep quiet.

“Dr. Chase I would appreciate it if you did not mention this to anyone else. House and I are not together, so I would rather have no rumors spread about me in the workplace.” he explained.

Now that was better, that was sincere and could even fool someone to think he was not gay. Calling them rumors made it seem as if he merely feared lies or misassumptions would be spread. After all, this was the only thing he had to look forward to in the day. He loved his job and though he loved going out and having fun, there was nothing else to bring him excitement. He had no family with children, no lover at this point. All he had was his job and House as his friend. A girl usually completed him, giving him his career, best friend and a lover to share passion with. Now all he had was work and House, which made things rather incomplete. With all these explanations, maybe he did fool Chase, but he was not sure as of yet.

"I will, that's not it, I didn't come here to bribe you or anything, it's just..."
Wait. Was he really just speaking his mind? Literally? He shouldn't, how were people ever going to take him seriously if he got so wrapped up in his emotions? Get a hold of yourself, Chase...

He sighed deeply, and sat down on Wilson's couch. He really didn't want to stand right now, he felt shaky, slightly light-headed, and he just wanted to be held.
The couch itself was sort of comforting. That it was in Wilson's office made it even more so, though it also made it more painful.

Wilson had no idea, did he? He didn't have the faintest clue Chase didn't burst in to confront him and then make a fool of him; he was just jealous! And desperate! If Wilson liked House 'that way', how could he ever stand a chance? House and he were VERY different types... If Wilson was into House, how could he ever like him?

Okay, he regained his breath now. He wanted to say something hat didn't make him sound like a complete loser, but he couldn't think of anything. Was there anything in the world that could justify the way he was feeling? He knew this feeling was one of the main reasons he quit Seminary school though.

Wilson watched Chase, slightly confused for his true reasons for being here. If there was no desire to rat his secret out, then what did he need. A thought suddenly hit him; maybe Chase had a crush on House. Yes, that must have been it, why else would he visit him about House and him being a couple? His eyes flickered, showing slightly resentment for the doctor sitting on his couch. So Chase would be a better boyfriend for House then he was; bullshit. Then again, House would love dominating over him; just thinking about what Chase could give that he couldn’t just made his blood boil. He desperately wanted to tell Chase to go do his job, but his kind nature took over him. His gaze softened as he prepared to listen to what Chase needed to get off his chest, even if he was not excited about hearing it.

Chase rubbed his hands in his eyes to try and push back tears, and then put his hands on his knees as if they needed to support his weak spine.
Where to begin? "I saw.. you... I shouldn't be talking about this actually... " His eyes moved over to the door and back to the floor for a moment. "b-but.. I... Well... Since now I know at least you won't laugh..."

He cleared his throat, and gathered all the courage he could find. As mentioned before: he had only kissed a guy once. Both of them were closet cases. But Chase had always wanted more. Mentally longed for more. And even though he had been with Cameron and she had been physically satisfying, he wanted more of the better stuff. There was someone here he had fancied for the longest time, and unlike Wilson expected, this person wasn't House...

"I'm in love with you." here. He said it. Softly, shakily, but audibly and in the presence of the right person. What would happen next?

Wilson looked taken back slightly, lifting his head from his hand he was resting on; waiting for what he thought would be a lecture of how great House was. But no, someone was interested in him, not House. That fact alone was a surprise alone, but then he remembered who was in love with him, another male and a cute one too. He eyed Chase for a moment, he looked so nervous, but he was not the only one. All of this was a shock to him, not sure how to respond at first, he threw out something to just let Chase know he heard him.

“Oh..really?...um.” he began.

It was strange, the man he just admitted to House he had a small crush on was very interested in him. Plus, maybe this would be a good time to try out the other team, work the field a bit. One of his hands ran through his hair, trying to choose his words carefully. It was hard for him to ask people out; the date was never hard, just getting them to say yet to one was hard. After a few seconds of thought, he took his hand out of his hair and placed it back on the desk.

“Well….I would like to take you out sometime, if you like?” he replied finally.

Alright, that was an unexpected reply. Chase had pretty much been mentally preparing for being declined, and then receiving a lecture about how you amazing House was... But instead, Wilson was pretty much asking him out?
"Er..." Okay: wow. That was amazing. "Are you serious?" Was Wilson asking this because he was pitying him? Or was he joking?

He looked up at the other man, and saw a facial expression he could appreciate. "I'd love you to," he said with a voice full of relief.

House could now numb himself, he had succeeded in his mission to bully pills out of some unsuspecting victim in the Pharmaceutical department. He held two of those magical tokens to a world without feelings or pain. In an instant they were gone from his hand and down his throat. He limped down the hallway, on his way back to his office. Thoughts of love, jealousy, and depression began to drip slowly away. His weight was no longer so heavily concentrated on his cane. In fact, he could even feel a semi-smirk coming to his face. His shoulders were relaxed but he wouldn't be so relaxed for long. Eventually someone would tell Cuddy about what he did but he could enjoy this while it lasted.

A small smile came on Wilsons face, he could not help but be amused by the others reaction. Even if he had problems getting to the point of asking others to go out, it always seemed to work. It was just the most nerve racking part of the whole process, the bed was the easiest thing, and with men instead of women he expected things to get more heated as well. There he went again, thinking about sleeping with someone just as he asked them out. Truly, he was not a very horny guy, just affectionate. He could not help if that’s where all of his relationships eventually lead. There was much more to his life other than sex.

Shaking off the thoughts slightly, he focused back to Chase, his smile becoming more nervous. One of his hands again ran through his hair. Now he felt silly, even after the offer was accepted. Something just made him feel weird, maybe it was because it was a guy, or maybe not House, or just because it might have seemed desperate being so rushed. A small nervous chuckle escaped him, his fingers tugging slightly at his own hair. After he settled his nerves a bit, he once more focused on Chase. Even if Chase was handsome and charming in his own way, it was still hard for Wilson to focus on him, but there was many reasons to why it could be, only one didn’t seem to fit.

“I’m sorry, hope I’m not moving too fast. It’s just these feelings are…well..just new to me.” he explained.

So there went the straight cover he was trying to hide behind, but he figured by asking Chase out he ruined that already. There was just something about Chase that was so different from House, yet it was something he found really attractive in him. Chase was obviously easier to bond with, express love with along with getting it in return. Sure, there was a strong passion that came from House by a simple kiss, but Chase would probably work out better, for the both of them. Besides, he was not sure of the chemistry with Chase since they have not shared anything, so he hoped he could find comfort in Chases love. After all, this was probably his last chance at forgetting House taking role as his lover completely.

Cuddy was rummaging through her paperwork, filling out some reports on the hospitals progress, from money to employees. Of course, when it came to give a progress report for her star doctor of constant frustration, she exaggerated the truth slightly. This was done by mainly focusing on reporting his patient survival and health rather than his behavior and controversial actions. Honestly, House was a thorn in her side, bringing her a lot of things to be swept under the rug, but he was one of the best, making it all worth it. If he wasn’t, she would definitely not be working this hard for him.

Just as she finished writing about him, a receptionist rushed in. Looking up, she could see that the pharmacist was flustered, she automatically sighed before the woman even had a chance to talk. Apparently, House had threatened the man for his pills, leaving him in rage and slight fear. Though she was curious to why anyone was threatened by House. There was no real threat that came with a man who could barely walk unless he was high. House was always bark with no bite and she seemed to be the only one who could take him. It was funny when she thought about how it was always her or Wilson were the only ones able to handle House, no one else seemed strong enough. The man was rambling as she started to massage her temples. Her eyes were closed, rolling back in her head to relieve the slight tension building. Once she could not take any more of his raving, she pressed a small button on her table.

“Page Dr. House…” she muttered before letting go of the button.

House comes into to Cuddy's office with a smirk that either said he just torchered some poor helpless sap or that he currently had details on some juicy drama going on around the hospital. But the smile soon turned to a fake pout, "I was just about to dive right into my episode of Grey's Anatomy, so I hope this is good. I mean, I'd absolutely die if I didn't find out who was going to hook up with who this week." Its as if he got some kind of pleasure from making Cuddy's life that much harder. Maybe he liked it when she yelled, or maybe it was because when she was angry she would move around more. Giving him ample time to view her 'goods'.

Her eyes shot up at House, giving off a annoyed vibe in her glare. It was easy to see when Cuddy was upset. Sure, there was no way she could fire him, scratch that, wanted to fire him. But she always found something to punish him. Normally it was clinic duty, which one would assume got old fast and stopped affecting House, but you would be wrong to think that. It was the main things he dreaded, pointless and dull cases and having to talk with patients. It was almost as effective as whipping him, even if she felt he might just get aroused by it. She sighed rising from her desk and walking around, though House loved to watch her walk and show the girls, she did not catch on to this concept.

“I have gotten another complaint of you threatening someone. What do you get out of it, you know they will give you the pills. Is it necessary for you to spout awful things to them?” she asked in an aggravated tone, standing directly in front of him now.
