String_Theory "Right," Eiju said as he popped his knuckles and stretched his arms behind his back. "Kasairyuu, you're with me. Try to keep up and let me confront him when we catch up, if the chance arises for you to jump in, bring the pain." Kasa just tugged his gauntlets to make sure they were snug and nodded and in a flash of fire and wind they were both gone. Eiju moved fast, just inside the range so that Kasa could barely keep up. Eiju thought to himself, Maybe this man will be the perfect practice for that before I use it on Onryou. Even so, it will be very draining, I may just want to stick to ripping him apart with my bare hands. He tried to kill Ifuuki, and as long as I still need her anyone who attempts that is a dead man walking. His face twisted into a fierce grin as he caught sight of Akira's chakra in the distance. Kira and Tenka had even made sure to change the summons every so many miles to make sure they stayed at top speed. Now they were only a few tens of miles away from the temple. It was at that time that Onryou stopped his mount and held up his hand. "Do you feel it?" He said, clearly talking to the adults in the group. "Yes," Kira said, "two, no, three intense chakras and a fourth strong chakra that seems strangely intermingled with one of them. It makes my hair stand on end, this is going to be a good fight I think." Onryou turned back and said, "Be prepade for anything...and Rio, might I suggest that you leave Kasairyuu to someone else. I have a feeling things are not quite as they seem with him. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Akira had moved Shinji to the prison cells rather quickly. He figured that whatever it was that Shinji wanted to do it was important. Even though he seem to show little social tact, Akira was actually incredibly intuitive and seemed to pick up on a lot of physical and tone language that others missed or overlooked, possibly because his enhanced senses saw things and felt things others couldn't. "We're here Shinji-san" Shinji smiled and exchanged a word of thanks before opening a thick rusted door open. "Chiyo. It's time."

He picked out a kuani from his pack and infuse it with intense wind chakra before he chucked it with uncanny accuracy at Akira's silhouette. The knife cut through trees like they were nothing but open air... Akira walked casually, his mind set on finding the sword, his thoughts wandering to what could be achieved with such an item in his possession. "AKIRA!" Ryou snapped, heating up to a point where Akira's skin burnt. Akira screamed, doubling over and clutching the ring, a kunai zipped over his head, burying itself neatly in the wall before him. "s**t." He hissed, releasing his hand and sprinting at full speed through the temple. "You idiot. Never let your guard down." Ryou cursed. "Ryou, shut the hell up." Akira barked, forming a string of seals with a s**t-eating grin on his face. "Remember what I said about the spring?" Akira murmured. "Yes?" Ryou said nonchalantly. "This is where it comes in handy." Akira chuckled. "What on earth are you thinking?" Ryou said, becoming increasingly cold with each seal that Akira formed. "I'm thinking it's time to go a bit deeper into my arsenal." He smiled. "What do you mean?" "I'm going to use a technique that even my father couldn't master." Akira laughed, his body filling with joy and malice. "Akira, stop this. You can't control that kind of technique." Ryou said cautiously. "NO, YOU STOP! Stop trying to hold me back." Akira hissed, finishing the technique. "What is this technique then?" The ring whispered. "I''m going to draw out all of the water beneath us and condense the water in the air outside. Then I'm going to pressurize it and crush everything." "That's why you came inside, right?" "Exactly." "Suiasai-no-jutsu" Akira grinned, the air became heavy, his skin felt wet and his vision was hazy. "This is going to hurt like a b***h." He laughed, his mind reeled with joy. "But nothing has ever survived this, but me." Akira smiled psychotically. He formed a seal and the humidity increased, the air became thick and soon a veil of pressurized water hung overhead, suspended by the Shinyuudai's chakra. "Ready?" Akira smiled again, forming the last seal and watching the water crash downwards like a hammer from the heavens. He laughed to himself, safe in the knowledge that anyone outside was going to suffer 80 times more than he. 'After this, we're getting out of here.' He promised himself. The sword no longer mattered. He'd perfected the technique that his clan had practiced for centuries, and no blade could match its power.

Eiju had seen Akira's chakra form and grow to enormous levels, though he was not close enough to see the hand seals. Unfortunate, by the level of energy he's putting into this this is going to be a s**t fest. I would have liked to add it to my own skill set.
Eiju knew too that this was serious, he would have to pull out many of his stops to survive this. "Kasa!" Eiju said as he held up his hand to stop. After a second he said, "Show me the seals for your turtle shell technique."
Kasa nodded and made a quick set of seals and formed his chakras before letting jutsu fad without uses it.
"Interesting, I think that will do the trick, this going to be a water technique so earth is the answer."
Eiju then began a insanely fast set of seals, so fast they were a complete blur to Kasa. Eiju seemed to be manipulating the jutsu he had copied from Kasa on the fly, truly showing his genius, changing it to incorporate far more power and strength.
"THis technique...so much water," Eiju said as the ceiling of water formed fully over their heads. "He said there was a well of water underground, which means he is probably drawing most of it up to here..."
Eiju smiled as he snapped his fingers and said, "That's it, he's going to crush everything above ground so..."
Eiju trailed of once again as he formed a long string of seals in only a few seconds, just as the water was falling. As he did he placed his hand on the ground and pillars of earth shot up from the ground and then twisted and wrapped around the two ninjas until they were in a perfect cylinder encasing them. Inside there was only about a foot of breathing room between the two and the rock barrier that now protected them. Then Eiju made a final seal and the protective cylinder disappeared under the ground in a flash.
"Reinforce the shell Kasa, this should keep us fairly safe but no chances."
Kasa made a few seals and suddenly the metal armor on his body became liquid and spread off his body and coated the inner wall. Then the metal soaked into the barrier and spider webbed through the structure and increased the durability many fold.
"Now we wait and hope I don't have to use the fire." Eiju said as their fate fell on them.

I've been much closer to death than this." Rui made a sour face but did not retort. "Well what are we-" her voice trailed off as a gigantic roar drowned her out. She looked up and spotted the huge hammer-like basin of water plummeting toward them. Rui panicked and something inside her sparked, igniting her whole body. Without seals she thrust her arms in the air and shouted. "Cry of the Fire God: Heaven Puncture!" The air around them whined violently with the sudden temperature change as a gigantic pillar of fire and super heated gas about four meters wide erupted from that spot and soared to the heavens... --- Mai and Rin-Tao steeled themselves for the battle to come. Up ahead they saw the odd spectacle unfolding... --- Chiyo nodded at Shinji. "Then fetch me a conveance. I doubt you will let me summon my own ride."

Akira became cold as he said, "I will provide you a mount. But be warned, my lizards are loyal only to me. If you try anything funny they will not hesitate to retaliate."
Akira bit his thumb and pulled back the top flap of his yukata to reveal a rather ornate summoning seal on his chest. In a cloud of smoke a summon appeared.
It was a lizard as large as a small horse and with the appearance of a thorny devil. It had six legs/arms and used four of them to walk, giving it a centaur like body, though it was clear that it could travel on all six. Strapped to its chest were two swords and near each of its other legs was strapped a bladed disc with grips that could be held by its claws. Finally, tied to its back was a saddle so that someone could ride it without worrying about the spikes.
"Akira-kun," the lizard said as he gave a small bow with his upper body.
"Sargus-san," Akira said with a small dip. "I need you to transport Chiyo-san, she will tell you where to go, but be wary of her."
Sargus grunted as he looked Chiyo over. "So this is the summon specialist that Ryuuko-sama spoke of to Ryuujin-sama. You know the sun of our head still smarts from what he considers a loss on his part. He says his O-naginata aches for the blood of the cat she uses. He is still too young and impulsive...a good balance to you I think."
"He isn't used to losing and he hates to disappoint Ryuujin-sama," Akira said with a smirk as Sargus approached Chiyo and offered his hand to Chiyo to help her onto his back.

Akira watched the water plummeting down, his body moved in slow-motion as he formed a counter-measure to his own technique.
"This will save me or kill me." He laughed, forming the seals for the water prison and slamming it into his own chest as the water collided with him. He felt the pressure, the neck-breaking tonnes of water above, then it spread out, lessening, and soon he found himself floating in a ball of water, void of damage. 'Success' He smiled. He looked out of the ball and shook his head, he probably hadn't killed them, but he'd given them a taste of the Shinyuudai power.
'Next time, I'll use a truly amazing technique...' Akira grinned.
'Next time I'll destroy them'. =================================================
"The middle-range attacks have a 50% chance of killing the user as well." The man said, forming a series of seals and enveloping his son in a spherical prison of water. The child looked at his father, hate filled him and the boy formed a chain of seals at breakneck speeds, his fingers a blur. The water exploded from around him, forming needles and threatening to impale the father. "Akira, control yourself." A voice spoke, it was Ryou-sama, the ring that hung from the fingers of the boy's petrified father. Akira stopped, the needles became droplets and the room was filled with rain for a short while. Through the rain came a fierce hand, Akira's father beat him aside and the boy hit the wall to his side with a sickening thud.
"You b*****d..." His father hissed, forming a series of seals and sinking into the water at his feet, vanishing from sight.
=============================================
Akira's mind hummed, he relived the moment over and over, stealing useful information from it merrily. His fingers formed seals and he bit his thumb, offering his blood to the technique. Soon he was gone, washed away with the broken water prison and the waves that drifted merrily through the halls of the temple.
Akira opened his eyes, his body stung, his vision was red. An open sky hung overhead, his body was cold.
"Where am I?" He choked.
"A very long way from home." A deep, seething voice hissed from behind him. The ring on his finger heated up slightly.
"Oh..."

Sabu nearly fell to the ground as a rumbling roar ripped through the temple's tunnels. The ceiling began to give way and he dived, nearly avoiding being crushed. The huge serge of chakra he had felt earlier had apparently done some damage to the temple's structure. "Is everyone alright?" he called out into the darkness.

Muuga picked himself up from the puddle of water he laid in and spat out fluid. Whatever had hit him caught him be suprise. Looking around he didn't see any of his crew but heard voices.

Mainwhile Ganeni entered his room and gather his things. A small shrine was located underneath the window. It containted a few candles and a picture of Ginshiko. Ganeni changed into a new set of clothes. He washed his face and whiped away the remaining blood. He kept on looking at the shrine on his left. Soon he kneeled down and smiled at the picture. His hands grasped his ring on his necklace and removed it and placed it beside the picture.
"Keep it safe alright Gin?" He said as he gave the picture a warm smile.
He got up and walked towards the door. While standing in the door opening after opening it and looked back a bit.
"I'll be going on a rescue mission. If anything goes wrong..I might still be able to join you today..." And with that he closed the door and headed towads the gate.
*****
At same time Tobasu entered his own room. It looked more like a miniature laboratory. He opened a glass closet and took out a few vials. All carried different colours and all looked rather dangerous. He put them in his coat but hesitated with the last one.
"Better safe then sorry. Might have to show it to Ifuuki-chan when I see her." He said to himself as he put it in his coat. Soon after that he left towards the gate.
*****
Ion was busy trying to convince Sakurai that breaking a small mirror like that wouldn't cause any real trouble.

Ifuuki begain to scrape together her charred cells together enough to sit up. At least her clothes were wet and mostly intact, she didn't have much chakra to spare for pain suppression. "Well, that was dramatic little one. Tell me, what was the point of that if not for making me very annoyed?" Looking up she saw Rui. Or rather, Enhakai. Her body was completely writhed in flames and her eyes burned like the setting sun. Smoke and mist combined in eddies and swirls above her head. She turned her attention to Ifuuki and laughed. "Why should I care? I'm done with you old woman!" she said. Ifuuki was instantly outraged. "Just what do you-" Enhakai didn't wait for her to finish. With a loud woosh she took off into the sky and sped off in an unknown direction. With in seconds, she was gone. Ifuuki was in a combined furious and dumbfounded state.

Akira looked about, searching for the source of the voice. His eyes found nothing but darkness, his mind began to fill with visions of horrors and nightmares.
"Where am I?" He said again, squinting into the dark.
"Very good question." The voice replied. It was nearer than before.
"Who are you?" Akira said, trying to hide his fear.
"Again, a very good question." The voice seethed, this time Akira felt it, the breath washed over his face.
"Are you going to attack me?" Akira asked, preparing himself.
"Perhaps." The voice replied, so close that he could smell the breath.
Akira moved, he formed several seals and the sound of water rushed into the darkness, encasing the hidden speaker.
"You're a fool." Akira chuckled, standing and looking about for a source of light. To his left was an opening. 'I must be in a cave of some sort.' He thought, moving towards the exit, dragging his prisoner with him. As the light became closer he felt a disturbance in (the force xD) the prison, his captive was squirming,, trying to break free.
"Don't bother, there's pressure on it. You'll only hurt yourself." Akira laughed.
They stepped into the light and Akira beamed, he was still close to the temple, but far enough to have escaped his followers.
"It worked." He stated. His eyes found his captive and he froze, locking on the man trapped in the prison.
"You..." Akira seethed, freeing the man and grabbing him, lifting him from his feet.
"Why the hell are you here?" He snarled, slamming a fist into the man's face.
"Did my father send you?" Akira asked, throwing the man into the cave wall and kicking him down.
"No matter. Let me tell you everything." Akira smiled, crouching.
"I'm going to kill you. And then I'll kill every other Shinyuudai." He beamed, grabbing the man's hair and facing him openly.
"See my smile, know your fates." Akira grinned.
"Not even Death can stop me. I will kill you all." He laughed, slamming the man's face into the floor.
He took his free hand and formed some seals, then severed the man's head from his body and threw it aside.
"Akira, what is the meaning of this?" Ryou snarled, his rage was evident.
"I'm strong enough." Akira grinned.
"Strong enough for what?" Ryou replied.
"I can kill them all, every single one." Akira laughed, his eyes widened and his body shaking uncontrollably.
"Akira, you can't. You must not." Ryou exclaimed.
"Trust me, Ryou-sama. The clan will become great again. But first we must remove all obstacles." He snickered, removing the ring and pocketing it.
"And now, to observe." He smiled, walking towards the temple.

She yelled back to Yuna. "Yuna-onii-sama. Straighten up. Take the man in the mask." Oui tilted his head when she mentioned him. "Oh? The young girl is giving orders? Best not dissapoint her then eh boy?" he said as he stepped toward Yuna. He threw his arms down and two fore arm blades unfolded and locked into place. Sabu locked his feet and held his ground, ready to meet Asakura's charge. Right when they both collided, the unstable ground gave way dropping them deep into a hidden camber. Sokitsu's vision was swimming when he came to. Warm blood flowed into his left eye from a fresh head wound. Looking around he noticed he was alone. It was pitch black so he formed a small paper roll and lit the end making a torch. Before him was a long dark hallway and behind was a pile of collapsed rubble, so he had no road except the one forward.
