Roy sighed for a moment and looked up. What a day...what a day. He rubbed his cheek a little and looked off to the side. He rubbed his head a bit and shrugged. What a bother this was.
His hand was a bit red on the top from the slight blood trail but it was nothing. Least it woul ahve been nothing till a feirce stinging went through his cheek. He felt a warmth hit his shoulder only a millisecond before the stinnging started. A cold wind came through that let him know that his cheek was wet as well. And of course, he did what anyone who had just been wetted by some unknown force would have done...he freaked.
"OH GOD! What the hell?!" He turned around to find no one but the weight was still on his shoulder. However, it had shifted to his other shoulder by now. The weight, at first, was unfamiliar...unbalanced. But as it moved, he felt more common with it. He didn't even have to look after a while as the feel was so familiar but at the same time...off. "Etna! What the bloody hell?! Why'd you lick me?"
The cat grinned a bit, "What? I can't lick my master?" Her voice was muffled a slight bit. Something that was achieved thanks to the bag in her mouth. "Take this now..." she dropped the bag into Roy's hands and he looked to it.
"What the hell? What's this?" She looked to him and smiled. He opened the bag and looked to it. It was filled with slips of paper with writing that Roy somewhat recognized form his study of Fuuinjutsu. They weren't sealing implements, instead they were, "Bomb tags?"
Etna smiled, "That's right. I figured a distance fighter like you might be able to use them. You should be able to implement them to something or other. Use your imagination. Now, take one in your hand. I'm gonna show you how to use them."
Roy nodded and began to place the bag down. He pulled out one of the tags and began to overlook the design and layout of the tag. It was a rather pretty design, too bad it was about to be destroyed. He looked to the cat and awaited instructions.
"Alright, now. Place the tag down on the ground. The explosion of a Bomb Tag isn't that big so you only need to step back a few steps but it can definatly cause some pain if applied directly to the body. But, before you put it down, I want you to push some of your chakra into the tag. Push it till its full and hold it for a moment then place the tag down and step away.
Roy looked to the cat and shruged. he didn't understand it very well but then again, he doubted that a lot of people did at first. So he did as commanded and filled the tag with chakra. As the tag reached its capacity, it began to fizzle. Like a fuse on a bomb would. "HOLY s**t!!" Roy shouted out as he let the bomb tag fly from his hand and jumped back. He was a good deal further back than the cat was when whatever happened...happened.
[[bags got 20 bomb tags in it. Etna >.> liberatted them...I didn't rp it or pay for it so if anyone wnats to charge me for it, so be it. But theres no place to buy them in Iwa sooooo yea.
Attempted Jutsu Jibaku Fuda: Kassei, (Exploding Tag: Activate) Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag. Cp cost: 3 per tag Damage: Exploding tag damage [10-20] Requirements: Chakra Control 5
Anyway, DC for learning this jutsu...hmmm ooooh, lets just say 5 (rolls of 10 or more) successes'll do it since theres no time requirement.]]

Even with such a blunder, the bomb tag exploded the moment it touch the ground, almost instantly after leaving Roy's hand. He stood there for a moment and looked at the blackened spot and the smoke left by the tag. He swallowed hard. That was what had happneed when he didn't know the power of the tag. he could only imagin the carnage possible when he knew what hte hell he was doing.
Etna sat back and looked ot the boy, "Afraid of your a little piece of paper now? Come on, pick up another one and do it again. This time, don't freak at the fizzle of the paper. It won't blow unless you over charge it or want it too. Now pick up the paper and get to work." the cat demanded as she began to lick her arms and paw.
Roy moved back over to the bag and sighed a bit. he looked down to the bag for a long moment and picked up another tag. Again, he looked to the designs...studied them, focused his mind to the paper itself. He wondered what kind of paper this was. It then came to him that it must have been the kind that absorbed chakra. Namely the same kind of paper that was constructed from Chakra Trees...the same kind of trees his father use to grow. A deep silence came over him as he looked to the paper...he didn't know what to do now.
For all Roy knew, these tags could be from one of the trees his father grew personally. He could be destroying the last memories of his father and not even know it...how could he do it? How could he continue? His hand lowered as a gust of wind blew through that threatened to snatch the paper from his very hand. The bag was safe however as the kitty had come to sit upon it when she felt the wind. Her eyes fell upon the boy for a long moment...she knew he wasn't stalling for stupid reasons...something troubled him greatly. She lowered ehr head for a moment and laid still before speaking, "You've lost something...something this paper reminds you of? What is it?"
He remained silent. How could he say this properly? How could he answer that her old master killed his father that grew the trees these tags came from? How would that go over? Not well with him but Etna... she probably owuldn't care. She had been alive too long ot care for such trival matters.
The silence was broken by her, "It's your father isn't it? He was a Chakra Planter wasn't he? Your mother told me about him..." Roy spun around with tears filling his young eyes. The cat spoke with an even tone. At most time, ROy would have just read it as being uneffected but in his hasty anger, he read it as uncaring. "Calmness is your best ally boy. You know you can't beat me...loosing people is what happens in war. You think your father died and would want you hear crying about it? Of course not. He'd want you to get stronger...strong enough to beat any who would dare try ot harm you or your mother. You very villiage even. But from what your mother told me, revengen is not something he'd want to do...you'd best forget it and get back to your studies..."
Roy looked ot the cat...she had ticked him off this time. Her words were cold and he meant not to sit idoly by and listen. He looked to the tag in his hand and began to fill it with chakra. After, he balled the paper up and tossed it to the cat with the fizzing starting again.

It was more of a pop than an explosion. The fizzle mearly fizzled out and the tag popped in Etna's face. It was enough to spook the cat but nothing serious. She shook it off and looked to the boy with cold eyes. "If you have time to be so childish, then you have tiem to train." SHe hopped off the bag and nudged it to Roy. "Now, take this and be done with this training fool. You think you can handle this by yourself? You have no idea what the Masters are capable of. And do you really think they'll let things slide the way they ended? Right now I can gurrentee you that hey are mounting their forces. You'd best gather your strength to aid in Iwa's defense this time."
God how he hated it when the cat was right. But the p***y had a point. With a deep sigh, he took one calming breath and then took another paper. He looked it over and then began another bout of focus. His mind wandered off as he glanced to the designed paper. He wondered if this was a design his father did or not...and he realized that if it was, he had to do the old man justice and use this paper to the best of his ability. He filled the paper with chakra nad it began to fizz again. he placed it down calmly and stepped away.

The tag shot off a spark. It fizzled a bit more and finally a detonation. This was more like a bomb for sure. He looked to the area s the smoke cleared. Since this tag was on the ground unlike his last two, there was a deep smokey ring on the ground. He smelt the burnt and chard remians of the ground as he looked on. This was it. He had gotten the hang of it by now. However, the cat had more in mind.
"Good, good. Now, I want you to try something else. Fill the paper almost full but not quite. I want you to learn to fill it from a distance and detonate it. It's not hard. Just fill it almost full and keep a mental link to it. You can continue to flow your chakra to it for a few moments after before teh chakra link is broken."
Listening, Roy nodded and filled the paper almost full. he had gotten use to what 'full' was and stood there looking to the paper. It didn't fizz and he knew it was about to. So, he placed the paper down on the same spot and brought up his hands in a tiger seal. A flow of chakra from him ot the paper sent it fizzing.

However, fizzing was all it did. The paper didn't even act as if it wanted to blow. It simply sat there after the initial fizz. The fizz wasn't even enough to scorch or alter the paper. It was still perfectly usable. Roy looked to it for a moment and sighed. he had obviously messed something up. Moving towards the paper, he found himself bending down to look at it. Just as he would reach for it, a gust of wind blew by and picked the paper up. Into the air the paper went and away from him.
"HAY! Get back here dammit!" Compeltly forgittn that there was more where that came from, Roy began to chase the paper. For a few moments it looked as if the wind owuld carry the paper to hell and back but just as the last moment, Roy reached for it...he reached as hard as he could and with a leap, touched the paper. With only miliseconds to do his job, eh pupped as much chakra s he could thorugh his fingers into the paper. Nothing happened...till he landed and applyed the Tiger seal again. the familiar fizzing started once more.

The paper exploded with grandure within the air. Roy looked up to it and smiled. The smoke and dust was famliiar but it was somewhat gratifying ot see it happen from such a distance. The wind whistfully carryed the remains of the paper to some far-off land. Whatever and wherever it may go, Roy smiled as it traveled.
He was quick with anticipation. he wanted one more shot at the distance sparking. Moving back to the back, he plucked another piece of paper from its hallowed home and smiled. He looked down to the paper and poured his chakra into it. He had completly forogtten what his anger stimed from...no...thats not right. Rather, he didn't want to be angrey anymore. He had come to a new conclusion. His father had given him a way to be stronger.
With that and a wish on his mind, he released the paper into the wind once more and applied the Tiger seal.

The wind picked up and carried the paper off, farther and faster than the original paper had travled. It was out of reach and sight before he could do anything about it. It was a loss. But no matter, he still had pleanty to try with. So without another pause, he reached down to the bag.
He searched around for something, almost as if the papers were different in some way even though they were as close to perfect clones as human science and technology could possibly get them. he pulled one out and looked to it, almost like a person who had just pulled the winning lottery ticket. He looked on and grinned a bit more as he stepped back. Once more his chakra flowed into the tiny slip of paper. He released it into the wind that had calmed down and began another focus of his chakra to it.

And that's when destruction hit. He had done a good thing mind you. The tag began its fizzle. The fizzle grew and grew till the paper was ready to burst with power...problem is, where the paper landed. With no way to direct the paper, it flew at the wind's whim and the wind had a whim to return it to it's brothern. Roy looked on and a huge sweat drop could be seen on his head. "Oh shi..."
Without another word, the cat sprung up and tackled the boy to the ground. This was no mear explosion. The tag set off a chain reaction with the other tags adding their power to the original one. It was one huge explosion after another. He covered his head as chunks of the ground began to fly up and around them. Nothing big enough to kill or maim but definatly big enough to cause some pain.
When the last bomb tag exploded, Roy looked on in disbeliefe. There was no bag left as one would imagin. Just a huge black char mark where it use to be. His disbelief was shortly lived as a sharp pain filled his arm. Etna had bit into his shoulder and was clinging on for dear life. "WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR POBLEM! WE COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!!" she muffled.
Roy winced and would have knocked the cat off if he didn't think seh was absolutly right. A trickle of blood came down his shoudler and yet he still thought that if she had wanted too, she could be chewing on his shoulder bone now. He looked to her for a long moment and sighed. "How was I suppose to know that one o them would spark a chain reaction..you didn't tell me..."
The cat with red teeth licked her lips and sighed as she calmly sat next to him. "Well...thats true but Ithought you might have figured itout. No matter...we're out of tags now so I suppose that ends todays practice...good job boy. Now, lets go eat. I'm starving."
Roy looked to her as he stood up, favoring his shoulder, "What, my blood isn't good enough for you?" he mumbled as the cat pounced on the bitten shoulder.
"I didn't get a good taste last time. Hold still and let me bite again!" she growled as they walked off to nurse his wounds and eat.

(Wow have not been on this guy for a long time ) Cronos left his home to get some food for his father. He did not quite get it since there was plenty of food in the house in the the first place but oh well. Cronos started to walk into the market place when he saw Roy one of the teachers in the school. Cronos rembered what he looked like since he was in the school before. Cronos walked over to the boy, it was stange that he was a teacher but he was strong for his age stange it was but it Cronos wanted to have talk with him. Cronos was taller then Roy and was more muscular then he was but that did not matter in being a ninja. Cronos waved at Roy "Hay Roy how have you been " Cronos smiled.

Roy looked to chronos for a moment. It took him a minute to remember the boy's name. He was horrid with names although he remembered faces fairly well. For a moment he looked at Chronos puzzled then, when it clicked, he smiled.
"Ooooh, Chronos. Whats up? Haven't seen you in forever. Thought you'd falled off the face of the earth or something. How's life treatin you?"
The black cat on Roy's shoulder snuggled in and glanced up to the boy for a moment. She wasn't pleased as the boy was interrupting Roy buying her something to eat but she'd stay quiet about it for now. Roy only smiled. "What can I do for you today Chronos?"

1/10 Giglamesh continued to walk the village simply wondering what to do. He was so sued to the pressure of the acdemy that one his off time he trained, but usualy he didnt have this much off time and wassent use to it. The only reason this came about was because due to giglamesh's and keiko's influence in the acdemy they had fianly been given control over it and with there own ideas they had made a acdemy wich would pass by much faster as well and flow threw much more easily. In turn this gave a much larger off time, usualy used for each other and they usualy spent it togther. Giglamesh though had had been getting fat due to laziness, his ideal of fat was a tiny little swell at the bottem of his extremly toned abs. As muscularly as he was built to him it was like a inperfection and had been wanting to train to get back in better shape.
Yet with the war, acdemy, and child he had not been used to all this time aplicable for traning. With a great portin of one of his masters techniques and he had made great progress, but he wassnt used to this much time being aloted to being able to train, and with everthing that has happened he had developed a part laziness part loss of attention span disorder, atleast this was what keiko had called it. But he was agin alowing his mind to stry to far as he roamed the village, he needed to get back to training or atleast to keiko and maiyuri. Yet as he knew he didnt work of his swell yet he didnt want her to see him that way so back to traning it was.
He was on to the second step of the clan's technique know as Blood moon dance, in english, he had broken it down with his research skills to make it easier for himself. Still the fact stood he wassent used to this long of time aloted to free time this may of been a reason he broke it down instead of learning as he progressed. It would take some time but he would decided to move on to the next step while he actuly had the time for traning. As he walked his stomach would growl very loudly, wich ment traing would have to be postponed temporarily for food, may of been a excuse but it was good enough for him.
