I'd be more thorough with my farewell since that's so impersonal...but I've got to turn and somehow find something to use as icing to put on a b-day cake I made for a dear friend...she's gonna be here in 20 min...
By Gaia's standards, I'm about to have a 2 year gaia anniversary soon.))

((dang it seems imissed the fun...))
Hawk walks out of the gateway he made from the dragonmount to the shining tower. for a moment he could sense Merc in danger but gone again in an instant. The gateway closes behind him as he walks away from the place towards the tower. He can feel her presence close and strong.

Mercuryangel Well...things were quite out of her hands now.
"Tea sounds quite welcome...provided we can get some sweets go with it. I feel like a little child right now, when I tried to snitch something from my aunt's kitchen!"
Smiling, she took Azalea's arm.
"If you will excuse us Mother....?" : Azalea curtsied to the Amrylin and walked away with Mercury. Azalea flashed another of her fleeting but meaningful smiles, "Ah yes, we shall have to have lots of sweets!" She laughed softly, barely audible over the chiming of her "jewelry". "You know what, I think that we both need a break..." Azalea trailed off as a couple of Greens walked by, she heard a few words of their whispers. "Prisoners...Forest...Crazy..." She simply rolled her eyes, cleared her throat, gave Mercury a knowing look, and continued. "So...I have an idea." She winked at Merc, showing her that those words were all that she would get until they were in private. "I am already on the second volume of my book, you know..." With those words she both changed the subject completely, and not at all. :

She nodded at everyone and turned to go to her rooms when she felt Yurin suddenly come much closer. He was alive but barely. She traveled to him without a a backwards glance. She glanced around the courtyard after exiting the gateway and could not see him but with her bond she could pinpoint him. She pulled the cloak off his face and gasped at how grey and dead his face looked. There seemed only to be a spark of life in him. A spark had to be enough. She opened another Gateway into the healing ward. She lifted him with flows of air and put him down gently in a bed. She called for a Yellow and prayed one would come quickly.

Skiiy tries to move to block the advance of the Trollocs against Katerine, but the Shades surround him on both ends, and block him from reaching her. Almost before he can react, the charge him, both at once, but he's ready, focusing his energy below him. He leaps upwards while at the same time binding the molecules in the air together with his energy, making a solid block. He uses this block to boost himself higher so that he easily clears the Eyeless, landing neatly between the two of them and Katerine, then leaps at them before they can react. He thrusts with his blade, penetrating through both of the Shades, and then lifts his blade upwards, lifting their bodies, and, after planting his foot firmly on the chest of the closer one, kicks them off sending them backwards a ways. From there, it's only a short jump to behead the downed shadowspawn, and he quickly finishes the job.
Skiiy walks over to Katerine, breathing hard. Using his abilities, or Talent, as they called it here, really took it out of him a lot faster here than it did back in his world, but then again, it wasn't quite the same body. After catching his breath, he grins up at Katerine. "Alright, let's get back to the inn. We should get out of here quickly..."
((For the record, I have no idea what's goin on here with the letters and the Lathanam, but it's all good.))

Katerine Sedai,
My camp is on the slopes of Dragonmount tonight. I would have made it to Tar Valon this afternoon, but I was delayed, shall we say? I had a little run in with another group of Whitecloaks. This time, however, things did not go smoothly. They were questioners. What in the Light are questioners doing on the Grass? Especially in this remote of a place. There's a plot of sorts, I can sense it. I don't know what, but I felt my hairs stand on end when the asked some rather objective questions. They seem to think that the explosion of Dragonmount in a direct influence of Aes Sedai and the 'Dark friend ways'. Dark friend indeed!
I think we shall talk on this more later, yes?
I'll send this bird off, now. I'll need my rest for the dash to the white bridges in the morn!
I cannot wait to see you!

She and I have been together for over a year and a half. ( heart WOOT! heart ) We were here a while ago and I had to leave, but she came back before I did. I was her warder and lover, but hell, things happen. My character has been gone, hence the letters saying he has been gone, for over a year and he is telling her of his return. When I had started my character, he was a wit (warder in training) and he was promised to her after his training was complete. So, he looks forward to returning to the Tower and taking his place by her side. Though he does not know of her current...situation, if you will. So, fear not. I am not full of spite, I'll not kill you. That is, unless you make a move. In that case, the others here can testify that I'd find you, or anyone for that matter in that place, and kill them. Literally. Now you know. biggrin (I was nice about it. ^_^) ))
