Merida found his eyes beautiful, but not as beautiful as his natural eyes; the eyes she had fallen in love with. She smiled at him, kissing him briefly. "I don't ever have to worry about anyone trying to get at me. Not while you are around. And you don't have to worry about a thing either, because I will protect you forever. Not that you need it," she teased him lightly as she tugged on his hand and began to lead him back to the outlets. ~~~~~ Cassandra had wrapped her arms around Lorcan's neck when he picked her up and jumped up onto the stump. Suddenly they were in a different forest and she looked around, trying to see the energy she was feeling. Where was it coming from? Who was it coming from? "It's beautiful here," she murmured softly.

Naruto shrugged as if it didn't bother him. "In my experience, women in some ways are just strong if not stronger than men," he said with a chuckle as he let her lead him along.

Lorcán was mildly surprised when a three foot tall blue eyed chipmunk-girl with curly red hair stepped out of the trees, one hand brushing the trunk of the tree. "You're right about that; I grew up here and what you're sensing is the natural energy itself of everything around you... the planet, trees, animals, air, streams," she said with a laugh as Lorcan dropped off of the stump as the squirrel who had led them here leaped into the trees.

Kaosujin Ryu bleh..have to get ready for work now... Merida said with a chuckle. Their arms swung lightly as they walked down the street. It was kind of nice to be able to do this, although she kept her senses open for any kind of threat to them. It would always be like this, she knew, but there would be times they had peace. ~~~~~ Cassandra watched the chipmunk-girl as she walked towards them. Her head tilted to the side slightly as she listened. "I am honored that we were led here...but why?" She asked curiously. There was always a reason, and she knew it.

Naruto let his gaze scan around cautiously, an unconscious habit from decades of experience and combat. He knew his body seemed casual and relaxed, yet beneath it was a cautious tension that showed he was utterly prepared to move in every and any direction necessary in an instant.

Lorcán saw the chipmunk-girl shrug. "It's likely because Aera was lonely; we haven't had visits from anyone outside of here in decades," she said with a faint smile. Lorcan noticed a slight tension in the chipmunk-girl's body and chuckled. "You likely wish to explore just as much outside of here... wherever 'here' is," he said with a slight shrug.

Merida could feel the tension in Naruto's body. She sighed softly, hating that they had to live like this. They shouldn't have to be afraid so often, but that was the way the world was. She ran her thumb lightly over the back of his hand. They were only several steps from the shopping outlets and she held her breath until they stepped into the busy area. Merida turned her gaze to Naruto, smiling widely. "We made it here...and with only one attack," she laughed softly. ~~~~~~ "It must be terrible," Cassandra murmured softly. She hated the thought of being cooped up somewhere for so long without any sort of visitors. She looked up at Lorcan and smiled. "You know...you can put me down now," she teased him lightly.

Naruto chuckled. "As adorable and beautiful as you are, it doesn't surprise me that those demons were panting after you... idiots," he said with amusement, teasing Merida.

Merrick's eyes snapped open as he sensed a burst of demonic energy that went out almost the moment he sensed it. His irises bled crimson with a swirling design within them that flickered momentarily silver with rings.
Lorcán blinked a couple of times as he let Cassandra's feet touch the stump's oddly smooth top. "And if I didn't feel like it?" he said in a mildly teasing tone. "The reason that we drew you here... is because we have something that should interest you: information in something we've heard that the darker forces are after... though we thought they'd been lost," the chipmunk-girl said with a sigh.

Kýojin frowned slightly in his sleep, shifting slightly as a flickering aura of deep teal bio-electricity flickered over his skin momentarily.
Kÿos blinked, sensing a momentary burst of malice that faded with what to him seemed like shrieks of pain and roaring air. He sighed softly, snuggling close to Amelia as she shifted.

"It becomes rather annoying," Merida said with a sigh as if it happened to her all the time. She pulled him in the direction of the baby shops. "First we are going to do the baby shopping." She really was excited about all of this. ~~~~~ Constance shifted, her eyes fluttering open. "I wonder what that was," she murmured as she sat up and yawned. She looked down and saw the change in Merrick's eyes. She had not seen his eyes like that before. ~~~~~
"Well I guess you could have carried me the whole time if you wanted," Cassandra chuckled softly when her feet touched the stump. She looked to the chipmunk-girl. "What is this something?"~~~~~ Rosalyn lifted her head and looked around sleepily. She had felt a spike of energy and then it was gone. She sighed and ran her hand through her hair. She smiled when she saw Jin still asleep. ~~~~~ Amelia snuggled closer to Kyos, enjoying the fact that she had someone sleeping next to her. She opened her eyes slowly, watching him.

Naruto snickered. "Then you lead the way; I don't know a damn thing about what to get for babies since I've never had any," he said with a shrug, letting her lead him along.

Merrick sat up slowly, seeing Constance staring down at him with a look of mingled curiosity and love on her face. "You look beautiful, honey, but what are you so curious about?" he said quietly with a yawn.
Lorcán. "Seven gemstones... with power beyond most magical forms.. we had a saying 'The servers are the seven Chaos... Chaos is power, enriched by the heart... The controller exists to unify the chaos'," the chipmunk-girl said with a slight shiver; the gemstones in question were extremely powerful, and she felt that these two could find the gemstones and keep them out of dark hands.

Kýojin shifted, not seeming to realize that he lay his head into Rosalyn's lap with the movement.
Kÿos exhaled slowly, not seeming to know that Amelia was watching him. For an instant the skin of his right arm seemed to shift into darkness, as if a skin of pure darkness had sheathed his arm with indigo-purple veins before it faded, seemingly melting into his skin.

"Well I haven't had any either, so we will learn together," Merida chuckled as they entered the first baby store. "There is so much...stuff," she said softly. "I don't even know where to begin."~~~~~~ "Why thank you," Constance said with a grin. She reached forward and touched his face just below his eye. "Your eyes...they are different." A mirror appeared in her hand and she held it up for him. ~~~~~ "So gemstones that can cause great chaos." Cassandra said slowly. She could only assume the girl wanted their help. "What do you mean by controller?" Her head tilted to the side slightly as she regarded the chipmunk girl. ~~~~~ Rosalyn smiled as she ran her hand lightly through Jin's hair. This was relaxing; something she hadn't done in a long time. She leaned down and kissed his head gently. ~~~~~ Amelia watched Kyos' skin on his arm changed. She ran her hand lightly down his arm, wondering what that had all been about. She shrugged a little before standing up and stretching.

Naruto blinked as he looked around the store. "I don't either," he admitted sheepishly.

Merrick blinked a couple of times, seeing the same silvery rings that Lorcan could summon to his own eyes within his. "Lorcan can use these... as I recall, that village claimed they were legendary 'eyes', whatever that means," he said softly.
Lorcán tilted his head thoughtfully. "I think she means that this 'chaos power' can be channeled through someone," he said quietly. He was mildly surprised to see the chipmunk girl nod. "He's right, though the last one who could wield the gems effectively is long dead... we do not know if anyone will be able to synchronize with the gems as he did; it is possible that the power could overwhelm the user until it fades away," the chipmunk-girl said with a sigh; she recalled that Nicos, when he used the gems, at first, had been controlled by the power, until he had trained his mind to focus and subvert the incredible power to his will. She remembered, however, when the planet had broken due to an ancient darkness and though the planet had been restored... Nicos had been lost.

Kýojin sighed softly, a slight purr escaping his throat as he unconsciously shifted in a very kitten-like manner.
Kÿos opened his swirling indigo-navy eyes slowly, tilting his head slightly as he saw Amelia moving around. "Seems Èyìzhèn is aware of you; fortunately I can control whether I can cause pregnancy in certain situations," he said quietly.

"Cribs perhaps?" Merida pulled him to the back of the store where the signs said the cribs were. There were so many she didn't even know which one to go with. "Naruto...there is so much here."~~~~ "Perhaps you should ask Lorcan about it." Constance said as she took the mirror and made it appear on the dressing table. "We could learn more about it. How it is used...what it can do." She kissed him lightly. ~~~~ Cassandra nodded slowly as she listened. "So am I deducting right that you want us to find these gems, and keep them safe?" It would bring a whole of trouble to them, but it was something that she was willing to do. If it kept the innocents in the world safe then she would do anything. ~~~~~ Rosalyn chuckled softly as she continued to run her hands through his hair. It was soft and she did enjoy playing with it. ~~~~ Amelia turned to look at Kyos, a small smile on her face. She walked back to the bed and sat down next to him. "That is good, but I must admit that I do want a child at some point. I have lived too long, seeing my friends have their own children. I have held the children, played with them and comforted them. And yet...I have not being able to have my own."

Kasumi moaned softly, shifting against Carolyn as she sighed.
Naruto snorted softly as a amusing prank flashed in his mind as his gaze scanned around. "True, though I have no idea which to get for them," he said as he shifted his weight.

Merrick shrugged fractionally.
Lorcán nodded slightly, not surprised to see the chipmunk girl grin as she nodded energetically. "Also... there's something else," the chipmunk-girl said as a 3' 1" fox-boy darted out, his dark gold fur tipped with white as he carried a scroll almost as tall as himself; he wore black sneakers with white trim where the chipmunk girl wore open toed blue boots.

Kÿos chuckled softly. "I don't mind the idea; trust me, I know how you feel... I've seen the same thing a few dozen times... even before I was sealed away... and the love in this place is quite impressive, only matched by the sheer power in here," he said softly.

Carolyn's eyes fluttered open and she sighed as she raised a hand to shield her eyes from the sunlight that streamed through the window. She turned her gaze and smiled at the sleeping woman next to her. Kasumi looked so peaceful while she slept. ~~~~~ Merida had moved away from Naruto as she began to look at all the cribs. Her hands trailed over a dark, mahogany crib. "I like this one." She flipped the tag over. "It says it is a three in one.""That is one of our post popular items," The sales clerk said with a wide smile on her face. She looked Merida over as if judging how far alone she was. "This is for a friend who is like a daughter to me." Merida said with a soft chuckle. ~~~~~ "What else?" Cassandra asked as she knelt down to be closer to the two. She wanted to be same level with them, not above them. She was curious as to what was on the scroll. ~~~~~ Rosalyn shifted to keep her leg from falling asleep. She brushed some hair from Jin's face as she looked towards the window. It was such a nice day outside. ~~~~~ Amelia leaned over and kissed Kyos softly. "We are very loving here," she said softly. "We stand by each other. We help each other when there is need."

Kasumi was sprawled out on the bed, one leg over Carolyn's hips while an arm was cast over the elder's upper torso as her legs were shifted so that her most intimate places were hidden, although the sheets and blankets only covered her hips and legs to just below her knees.
Naruto tilted his head as a very impish smirk played at the corners of his mouth as he shifted, subtly altering his form so that he looked like he was five years old. "Is onee-chan going to like it?" he said a bit too loudly and innocently. The clerk spun at his voice and blinked, grinning at him as a clone in his normal appearance came around the corner, apparently just noticing Merida. "At least we'll know where to shop when we have our children," the clone said amiably, chuckling at the clerk's reaction.

Merrick shrugged fractionally.
Lorcán did the same as a dark brown furred rabbit-girl came out of the trees, followed by a pink furred cat-girl. "It'll allow you to call on us if you need help; I'm Saleta, and that's Kaena, Munami, and Arashi," the chipmunk-girl said as she pointed at the cat-girl, rabbit-girl, and fox-boy in turn.

Kýojin frowned as he shifted, shivering slightly; it was clear that his dreams weren't all that pleasant.
Kÿos sighed softly as Amelia kissed him before retreating. "As beautiful as you are, that isn't hard to believe," he said quietly.

Carolyn watched silently as Kasumi continued to sleep. She smiled, running a hand lightly through the other woman's hair. It was silky, soft. She leaned her head and kissed Kasumi on the lips gently. ~~~~~ Merida couldn't help but grin widely and shake her head slightly. "Yes, we do know where to shop," she said with a nod. She turned her gaze back to the clerk. "I think we will take this one.""Oh, very good," The clerk said with a nod. "We have a wonderful lay away program if you want....""We will buy it now," Merida said with a small shrug. ~~~~~~ Constance stood, pulling a robe on over her shoulders. "So what shall we do today my love?" She pulled her hair out from underneath her collar. ~~~~~ "It is a pleasure to meet you, Saleta, Kaena, Munami and Arashi," Cassandra said as she held her hand out for the scroll. "I am Cassandra and this is Lorcan. We are glad to be of any help."~~~~~ Rosalyn noticed the way Jin frowned in his sleep, the shiver creeping up his spine. "Jin, my love," she said softly as she leaned down and kissed him. "Wake up my love. It is okay."~~~~~~ Amelia smiled as she rested her forehead against his. "I could stay here all day with you."
