Ocean Ecco Nintendraw I'd love to have a relationship with your character too, though I don't have too much of an idea how to justify it other than (1) Yuki is not-her-culture/"intriguing new specimen" or (2) he's kind of a Pokemon expert and knows the deeper/more technical side of Pokemon (owing to his devotion to the series and proximity to Nintendo Japan). Let me know if you have other ideas! biggrin Yes! I felt the same about your character. I actually really like him already and I think their temperaments could mesh nicely together. Indeed, that's similar to my thoughts. Basically she would be the one to approach him first out of intrigue by his collective persona and because he also seems like someone knowledgeable that can help get her where she wants to. Also I see her being more attracted to someone with a quieter nature because of opposites attract etc. When I say attract I'm not only referring to love attraction though so I don't mean for that to come off wrong. It can just be friendship attraction too. I still need to work on her history and all oh and I just realized I need to consider how they became acquaintances in the first place XP I guess maybe when she visited once for a convention in kyoto or they met online? I'll think about it more and work on the history Aw, thanks! I copied him almost exactly from Guild v4. XD By "collective persona", do you mean "overall personality"? And I understand; maybe they could end up hitting it off better than either expects at first. Yuki at least might be surprised to find that he agrees so much with a non-Japanese. (If that sounds racist, I apologize; some Asian families I know seem biased against non-Asians for some reason...) Everyone has met each other online and at least knows each other's game names, so I expect that last bit to appear. A Kyoto convention would be pretty cool, or any Japanese convention on the Honshu island. Granted, Yuki will get pretty hyped in battles; there might be a bit of a temper reversal then. biggrin Yuki draws and cooks, too, so that could be a bonding point in-game. ^^ Abella-chan Hmm... I guess I'll list some of my favorite Pokémon in place for her: Greninja, Gardevoir (Mega Evolution), Lopunny, Reuniclus, and that's all for now, haha xD Not Mega, though--but I think the right side of the skirt was annoying me because I wanted it floofy like Mega. XD

Just wanted to share this Gardevoir with you all~ I drew it in 2 hours after suggesting that Yuki draw something to catch Emiko/s eye. Not adding this to Yuki's Sketchbook yet because this is a crappy phone scan.

Nintendraw How about Gardevoir? I've wanted to draw her myself (might even actually try!). Or Lopunny to win cute points XD Actually, there are a lot of Pokemon Centers! Let's meet up at the Tokyo Pokemon Center. 8D I think I did name my rivals weird once, but I forget to what. My bro is more prone to that XD LOLWUT THATS AWESOME 8D Looks fine to me~ If you think it looks boring so far, try changing font size and adding more color/interaction in each post? I have a lot of labelled spoilers in mine.

Both your characters are from London and have Japanese blood... Might be presumptuous of me to be sensing something XD 'Twill be interesting to have an "evil" "Rich Boy" in the guild. I can't wait. biggrin

I can't wait. biggrin And here I never even noticed. As for evil, in the immortal words of Lestat, evil is a point of view. Although, since everyone's supposed to know each other to some extent... Intox, why not you and I write it so that our characters actually know each other personally?

OTL, neither of us remembered item use... Should we demonstrate it here, or leave the players to figure that out for themselves? It should be straightforward enough--give up a turn of attacking to heal. I don't entirely want to make the battle significantly longer, so I could possibly just stick a note in one of the OOCs about it. :/

Oh yeah sorry, I meant collective as in he seems stable and even in personality. Nah nah, I don't find it racist and I actually expected that from him. Its more like he has more confidence and familiarity with people in he's culture because he was brought up in that environment and trusts and understands certain values associated with that. it's pretty natural honestly but doesn't mean it's racist. we were just talking about something very similar to that in one of my classes today called the herd instinct and yadda yadda. But anyway I suppose they could have just met online and made a pretty decent team so they stuck around playing together afterwards on occasion. Well and she would be the type to pursue him for a friendship and keep it going because she values the idea of gaining connections to keep her world more open to different possibilities and different people. Anyway, I've been busy all day and still haven't done her history yet X( Blaaaaag. Ah and of course I don't mind you posting their relationship. Thanks smile

Yeah, that does describe Yuki, although he will get exasperated with idiocy and become much more impassioned in actual battle. Herd instinct, hmm? I'll remember that. biggrin Have you heard about Pokemon Stadium? It's a PC/website-based Pokemon battle simulator. Yuki and Noa could've made some teams and fought each other first before teaming up, and Noa might've liked something about his battle style enough to ask for further friendship. If they both have up to Pokemon XY (Yuki certainly will XD), they could also have battled with/against each other there too. Take your time~ Nothing's happening in-guild yet besides the mock battles and whatever matchmaking anyone wants to do. ^^

Itzel is 20.....Nando is 16....besides the guy who plays Green, Itzel is the oldest character in the guild XD. Kind of an "own our own initiative" thing. So far, most of the matchmaking has been done because either someone asked for closer friendships and got replies, or some characters happen to align.
