Zeno had flown straight through till the following morning before allowing himself to slow down. He had paused only for a short break and then automatically took to the air, doing so for the next several hours. His only real rest was in a small cave in the Heriden mountains, hidden in the base of the valley.
Risoniea Dacarishia was the reason for his state of terror, for she was the one who had murdered his father. Zeno had watched as she slit his throat and had broken both of his wings at their arches. This was soon followed by a brief torture of Zeno to find the location of his mother. Neither image left Zeno's mind, and both came rushing back when he looked upon her face over Faltora.

~Risoniea enjoyed the look of terror that had crossed Zeno's face at Faltora, her care over joining her race was forgotten upon his departure into the forest and the hunt became foremost in her thoughts. Following his scent was easy until he entered the Heriden mountains, the winds had changed until they were forcing her scent towards Zeno and his away from her. She had spotted an Azerian that looked similiar to the one she hunted rounding a mountain at a downward slope into the valley below though she doubted it was him. Riso was torn between hunting further for Zeno or getting a closer look at the Azerian in the valley. If she was wrong about the one below her she would lose valuable time in searching for the real Zeno, but if she went in search of another Azerian and was wrong about the one in the valley she would lose Zeno for sure. She resolved to simply make a short detour into the base of the valley to check for his scent, if she found it she had Zeno cornered.. if there was no scent to find.. she would return to her former position and track from there.

Grevious continued on his path though the city towards the palace. After a few more moments of walking he made his way up to the front door and confronted one of the guards.

Issildia silently led the two horses in full tack back to where Sin was waiting. Without a word she passed the reigns of the roan charger to him; the wound that Luin had inflicted upon her hand had already sealed up, leaving little to no scarring.
"The larovian army will prefer to travel at night and during hours when the sun is low, the celtarie among their ranks scorn sunlight and are next to useless when forced to travel under such conditions. We will do the same, to remain ahead of them once they begin moving east…though once we reach the barrier between the kingdoms, we will be forced to travel when it is light. The forest is dangerous enough during the day I would rather not know the perils one would face if they traveled on through the night."

~At Reinsen's palace, the guard only looked at the man that approached them.~

Lord Reinsen is prparing to depart for battle. WHat could be so important that you feel the need to interrupt him?

Behind her wall of minions, Niobe and Sylph advanced through the forest, although notably with constant decrese in protection as the 1,000 soul-less bodies took down their guardians one by one. By the time they were halfway through, they only had 20 of Niobe's summoned warriors left. Niobe looked at Sylph.

"These few will perish before we see the end of this forest. When the two immediately in front of us are stuck down, you run and I'll cover you."

With a furrowed brow, Sylph nodded in agreement. It didn't sound like a safe plan, but what choice did she have? As Niobe predicted, the last of her men fell and Sylph broke into a sprint. Niobe followed with her weapon drawn, picking away at those attacking the blonde.

"Run straight, damnit! Do you want to stay here forever? stressed "

Sylph ran blindly ahead and a big zombie jumped into her path. She immediately started to slow down.

"DO NOT STOP!"

Niobe leapt over Slyph and took the undead down in two strikes, without ever having stopped moving. They continued in a feverish rush until Sylph screamed; one of them caught her. Niobe doubled back to free her and was mobbed.

"Stop watching and keep running!" scream

Sylph ran desperately and full of adrenaline. She could see the fog lifting now -- she was close to the forest end. She couldn't hear Niobe, but didn't dare look behind her. She passed the last four trees and cleared the forest. And kept running. A sudden jerk at her neck elicited pain and gasps for air.

"You ungreatful wench! You were going to run away?"

Niobe, about five feet behind her, had grabbed Sylph by the leash which had been swinging freely behind her. She pulled Sylph closer.

"If you make any more attempts to flee again, I promise I'll bust both your knee caps and still force you to walk!"

Nevermind that she had never told Sylph to stop running.

~In the airspace above the Forest of 1000 Souls, Azrielle had caught a glimpse of the battle with Niobe. Heading back toward Baledon Sukiyo, Azrielle, took a dramtic nose dive, tearing through the withered treetops and drove one of the undead, which had been prepaing to strike at the two of them, hard into the ground behind them. He then draw his claws and dug them into its back ripping out its spinal column. He then stood, and licked theblood from his hand.~

It seems those villagers have given you a false map.

"He has sent me and a fellow subordate off on a mission of upmost importence, I have come back to give my report and..."

He pulled Streak fowards.

"bring him something he might find intresting.... Now you can either show me the way to him and let him take out his wrath of being inttrupped on me... or you can prevent me from entering and face his wrath when he finds out you have prevented someone from bringing him information about his daugther..."

Grevious stared at the guard cooly while he waited for his responce.

~The guard looked shocked at the mentioning of this lords kin. He bowed to the man and apologized frantically. He then without further hesitation guided him to Reinsen's audience hall.~

What do you what. You know well not to interrupt me while I'm in discussion.

Forgive me sire. But this man, says he brings information about....

Ah yes. I do remember his face. Leave us be. I will not tolerate any further interruptions.

Y-yes. Sire.

Ah, Greivous. You have returned...and not empty-handed I see. I would assume your mission went well. Give me your report, and make this quick, I have a war to fight.

"Quick? well then let me see.... I found no trace of Issildia save for when the city was attacked, during that time Zeno had tried to capture her and failed... although you should note I believe that his loyalty should not be trusted any more... Issildia, I believe is trying to convince him to break free of your control... but I digress... The city has fallen, and on my return to your command to report about Zeno I ran across him-

He pushed Streak forwards.

"-I do not know the extent of his knowledge about Issildia but the fact that he shouted her name out in his sleep leads me to believe he knows something... seeing as I am not a torture expert I chose to bring him to you... as for Issilida... I have a theory that I wish to tell you... but fear for my people refrains me from doing so..."

~Reinsen listen to Grevious intentively and glared once he saw the face of Streak.~

I have no time for theories Grievous, only the facts. ~He stands and walks over to the prisoner and draws his blade. He holds it to his throat, drawing the slightest bit of blood so that he would know he was serious.~ We can do this the easy way, or my way. What do you know. You will be given one chance to speak before I release you to the dungeon master. Should you chose the latter, you will be given the worst punishment imaginable. And her imagination is endless.

Grevious walked over to one of the walls and leaned agenst it as he watched Reinsen hold the blade to Streaks neck.

"I tell you this with faith that my people will not suffer becouse of it... should you betray that faith..."

Grevious paused for a moment before continueing on.

"I belive that my brother, Sin, is aiding Issildia... I do not know why he has chosen to do so, but I know that when he left the temple with us in the begining he had clear orders to kill her... my only guess is to why he hasn't is that he's been a fool and forgotten about his orders."

~Reinsen, looked over at Greivous with little interest. He glanced back at the Captive and sheathed his blade.~

I see. Guard.

Yes...S-sire.

Take this man to the Iron Maiden. Let her interrogate him.

Right away.

As for you, Greivous. You will come with me.

Grevious nodded and looked once at Streak and then proceeded to follow Rensein.

"two questions I must ask thought... the first is what should we do concerning Zeno... and two... If Sin is indeed helping Issildia, will the Monkoto pay for his foolishness?"

Niobe whirled around, quite surprised to see Azrielle there. Not only had she not seen him above them, but she didn't even hear him land behind them until he had spoken. It was a bit unsettling to her.

How the hell did he get so close without my knowing?

Outwardly, she bowed.

"We meet early, Lord Azrielle. I was hoping this route would shorten our travel time. Am I mistaken?"

She asked the question carefully; it was true she hadn't bothered to check the validity of the map. She hoped he wasn't cheking up on her.

~Azrielle surveyed his surroundings as he listened to her words. Sylph's expression had once again taken on a fearful emotion as she hid behind one of the trees peeking out ever so slightly.~

No. You were correct in coming here, as it wouldbe wise to avoid Akurei's army. Who have been on high alert since Faltora's fall. Although whoever gave you the map, did indeed fabricate the document. It seems. No matter. I have what I need. This woman is of no more use to us...unless.

~Azrielle thought to himself for a moment, before he spoke again. The expression on his face still remained emotionless, however, his aura had grown even more darker in these few moments.~

We can use her to capture Issildia Nevar. twisted I place her in your charge, Niobe. You may torture her as you se fit. You are gifted in the art of necromancy, so I trust she wil suffer enough.~
