"Oh dear...Maybe he could be reprogrammed as a sort of ship's pet, like our little tea-pot friend?" she offered.

Penelope's amused smile dropped as she looked back at Ms Sylvian. "Or else I won't feed you." she answered. It was completely untrue, Penelope would feed anyone on the ship no matter what they had done, but she seemed serious enough that it could be conveyed as truth.

"Surely we can't just take charge of Alexandria's possession! She should decide." said Silas, gesturing to the young woman.

Sylvian shovels another mouthful of stew, swallows, and then puts on an innocent face. "And surely, you wouldn't bar poor Myles from your galley for my actions?"

[Galley]

"No, I wouldn't do that to Mr Myles. Just you." she felt like a parent trying to coerce a child into not acting out. No wonder her grandfather grumbled when she tried to weasel out of a punishment.

Sylvian slurps the dregs of the bowl noisily, scraping it with her fork, then puts the bowl back on the table with a clatter and emits an unladylike burp.

She puts her hands behind her head and leans back against a Naught arm.

"Well then, you can't refuse me without refusing Myles, too. Who did you serve that bowl of stew to, hmmm?" She grins a Cheshire Cat grin.

Dominik looked around for something to pretend to read so that others wouldn't suspect that he was eavesdropping. He quickly snatched an old newspaper from a table adjacent to his and pretended to read it, regardless of how strange it made him appear. He then listened in on all of what was going on, even though he suspected it to end soon.

Penelope rolled her eyes and ignored the last question. She couldn't win, she knew it, so she stopped arguing. Going around the galley, she gathered up empty bowls, including Ms Sylvian's.

As Penelope passes, Sylvian proclaims, "I like you. You entertain me. Not like the silly man eavesdropping behind the newspaper. He's been quite boring for some time now. Should I poke him with a stick, Pen?"

Alexandria laughed at Sylvian's remark.

"If it could be fixed not to attack anyone, then I wouldn't have to worry about it running around and hurting someone..." She looked up carefully, "If that isn't to much trouble, at least."

[Galley]

Penelope laughed as well, her annoyance with the creative woman gone. "Always glad to be of service." she paused and looked from Mr Dominik to Ms Sylvian. "You carry a stick with you?"

"I have a sabre if you wish to use it," offered Silas, smiling.

Walking over to the teapot and the rabot, he drew his sword. In a flash he'd seperated them with two slaps of the blade. Grabbing the rabot, he lifted it into the air. It wriggled like a worm on a hook.

"Do we have any fine engineers on board to reprogramme the little mech? If so, I'd like to observe the process, if I may."

Sylvian lowers down and sits in the chair properly, and sips at Myles' tea. Tris detaches from her shoulders, reforms and stands at attention next to her.

"I like the thing the way it is. I refuse outright to participate in any alterations."

Alexandria gasped as the sword's blade flashed before her. She stepped forward and quickly gathered the rabot into her arms.
"Sir I must protest to your methods!" She took a few steps backwards, eyes the sword.

"Ms. Bruno, will he be much trouble left the way he is?"

She grins. "Of course he will."

Folding up and setting aside the newspaper that was apparently useless to him, Dominik decided to satisfy his curious mind by finding out what the internal structure of the mechanical rabbit looked like. He switched through his monocle settings, and like always, the X-ray setting did not work. Annoyed, he took off his monocle and smashed it with his fist.

"This is nothing more than a novelty toy!"
