"Isn't that an open ended question?" Sonya retorted, biting directly into the leg. "Besides, you're not that threatening to me. You're just another person whom Nakara has thrust me upon to try and learn something from. But the Force... It makes a nice toy. Personally, nothing beats pulling out someone's throat with your bare hands though."

After Lady Celeste left, Jakar continued to stay immobile. Thinking. It was almost like culture shock. "So... am I a Sith now?" he asked himself. Jakar continued to stand still until he noticed the droids focusing weapons at him. He yanked his lightsaber from his belt into his right hand with the Force and activated the orange blade.
Red blaster bolts came at him from both sides. Jakar brought his weapon into a guarding position and began deflecting the possibly deadly weapon discharges. He still kept in his spot however, still partially lost in thought about his new life choices. He still had to give Marr an answer, however, but Jakar knew what to say.
He blinked himself back into reality and jumped out of the spot he had been standing in for several minutes. Jakar landed on the other side of the training room, then jumped again, landing behind one of the droids. The other droid continued to fire, but then stopped once it had realized what its target had done. Jakar stuck his lightsaber into the droid he was hiding behind, slicing at it until something hit him upside the head. He flew back a bit, staggering in an attempt to recover from the disorientation.
Jakar had his back to the wall as the two droids slowly walked towards him, weapons blazing. He brought the glowing blade about, swatting back the blaster bolts, some striking the ceiling lights and causing the room to go dark. Jakar could barely see his own nose, however the blinding red and orange lights that danced around him provided plenty of illumination.
He jumped into the air again, and flipped over the droids, landing behind them. Jakar then pulled one of them towards him with the Force, then cut its many legs with his lightsaber, and finally digging the orange blade into its body, and tracing around the perimeter until it fell flat. He brought the blade up and had it face the final opponent.

" Is that right? " Volgen scoffed spitting a large hunk of meat.
" You think a threat is some thing that can kill you. Maybe its some thing that cane take from you... "
Volgen stood and moved the table up and away with the force. He moved it with ease and set it lightly next to the other wall. Standing in the middle of the room he slowly lifted off the ground. Levitating in the air he took deep breaths and folded his legs under him.
" If you do not believe, trust and be at one with the force... you are no threat to any one. I was like you once. I cut and slashed any one that stood in my way. Till a Umbaran showed me different. My teacher Soulun Gleef, a powerful Sith Infiltrator. He showed me that not only was the force a means to kill, a means to hide ones presents, to destroy... " Volgen's eyes snapped open as he lightly landed on the ground and looked down at Sonya.
" If you think the force is nothing but a toy then I have nothing to teach you. As I said before, my colleagues did not see a threat. When the final test came and only one student could pass it was clear... We all had to kill each other. I spend day after day with them, one of them became my friend. I killed him not with my hands but with the force. I watched as I sucked the life from him... " Volgen was not standing in front of Sonya. In his mind he stood in front of his dying friend. He lifted his hand as the force flowed threw him.
Not knowing it he started to drain the life from Sonya. He lifted her up as the memory became more and more real. One of the reasons why he never talked about the past. It some times repeated.

Kira finally managed to coax the boy, whose name was Gabriel, out of the corner and they sat on the edge of the cot talking about each other, their past, and their dreams for the future. Gabriel had been an orphan in a small town on the other side of Eriadu before he had been taken to the facility three years ago. They had been promised good food and care, but once they reached the lab all of that was forgotten.
Rook didn't press him too hard for details about his stay there. He was young enough still that he would forget most of what happened, and such memories were better off abandoned than held on to.
They talked late into the night, and both fell back asleep just hours before their arrival on Lyra III.

Lady Marie Celeste walked out of the training room and down the hall, stopping just short of the throne room. She looked both ways down the long hall, and seeing that no one was around, leaned against the wall. She stood their for several minutes, concentrating, pushing her power back down inside her, willing it into a tiny concentrated ball of energy. She enjoyed being able to walk around with her power flowing through her, hovering just over her skin like a warm electric current; but the business today required that she bury it, hide it from those who could sense such things.
It was one of the few Force talents she had been able to use before being trained by Lord Marr. During her days as a rebel and escaped slave she did it without even knowing exactly what she was doing; Lord Marr merely helped her control it. Her skill in this also helped make her particularly good at utilizing Force Camouflage.
When Marie was satisfied that her presence in the Force was hidden, she walked into the throne room. Derrial was in the southwest corner talking with some minor nobles, and she summoned him over to her when he was done.
"Have the delegation from Thule sent here when they are ready," she told him, then lowering her voice for the next part. "And stop by the intelligence offices later and see if any of my agents have delivered Marr's message to Malcolm Stryder yet."

The stadium roared in cheer as the results of the final match had been posted up on who was going to beat up whom. The Echani vs. the Mando, a fight which everyone knew would be a bloodlust battle, important rivalries finally tested in the ring.
The competitors were treated, rested, and given until noon the next day to do this; It was up to them to decide the type of field they would fight on and the weapons to be used. Nakara might have enjoyed a no-holds barred match, but in reality, he had a bet riding on the echani and didn't want to see it wholley wasted.
As mid-day rose, so did the competitors left into the stadium for the final bout.

Siren was still looking around the place, taking in whatever sights there were, before being approached by a trooper of some kind. The man offered to escort her along, apparently they were ready to get down to business with her.
A few moments later, she arrived at the throne room. The harem girls that came with her were elsewhere, continuing to do what they did best.

Marie was sitting on the throne, a symbol that while Marr was not here, she spoke for him and that her words carried the same power. Three of her staff at the intelligence bureau were talking with her about an operation near Coruscant, and she wrapped up their conversation as Derrial and the ambassador from Thule approached...

As the rest of Darksun's ships pulled out of the asteroid field, the Third Lyran Fleet jumped into the system and headed for their position. Comprised of two Centurion-class battlecruisers, three Trireme corvettes, four Foray-class blockade runners, six Hammerhead cruisers, and six wings of fighters and bombers, the fleet spread out as they closed on the asteroid field. It only approached from one side, however, allowing several escape routes for the pirate vessels.
Shortly after moving to intercept them, the lead ship hailed the largest of the pirate ships:
"Captain Darksun, I will speak frankly. I cannot allow a threat, no matter how small, to remain for too long at my back. And I will not be bullied into tribute by a pirate with an overinflated ego and a penchant for clichéd behavior. You mentioned before your interest in a privateership for the Republic. Well I want to offer you the same for my side, as well as a safe place to make port. With such an arrangement I can turn a potential enemy into an ally, and surely even you can see the value in that.
You could always refuse, of course, and I have left you several routes by which to leave this system. Know however, that if you should refuse my charity that I will make sure it costs you dearly. I leave the decision to you."

The captain smiled like a pro angler in a well stocked pond. "I'm sorry, "mate". But you really have no idea how big a pile of s**t you just stepped in. You see, you just showed me your entire hand. But I still have an idiot up my sleave and an Array in my hand." Like manifesting wraiths, battleship after battleship pulled their cloaks back, guns primed for battle and revealing the Third Lyrian Fleet to be out numbered by a factor of three and roughly encircled. Triremes, Hammerheads, Longhorn Escort Cruisers, and a bewildering array of Corellian Battleships were all arranged. And without warning, the 100 ships of the 2nd Tett Expeditionary Battlefleet, their sides still bearing the logo of the Blazing Talon of Piracy, opened fire with cannon, missile, and laser on their undoubtedly surprised opponents. Jedi Master Dulnas Lee, of Stryder's Circle of Eight laughed in triumph.
