Kilik finally found his perfect balance. He focused his mind completly. Koga applauded the boy''s achievement. "However," he said when the master placed his hands back to his sides, "You have a much longer way to go." The room fixed itself and Kilik walked out the back door with Koga. The sound of a rushing waterfall began to fill the boy''s ears.

"What is this lesson for, sir?" he looked at the waterfall and the rock upon which it pounded.

"If you can take the pain of the waterfall, you can take the pain of almost anything," he then looked down at Flareon, "And your Fire Pokemon will be able to gain a small immunity to the Water attacks." Flareon barked happily. Kilik removed his shirt and walked over to the falls. Slowly, he sat down, wincing as the stinging droplets slammed his shoulders. He closed his eyes. The boy hunched foreward. "Sit up!" barked Koga, crossing his arms across his broad chest. Flareon walked next to its trainer and sat down. It yelped loudly as the water slammed against its back.

"Take it, Flareon. You can do it..." the boy whispered weakly. The water seemed to become heavier and heavier on his shoulders.

Kasiya lay in a grassy field, the wind blowing slightly. The rustling of the grass was very soothing, and Kasiya watched the blue sky, dappled with fluffy white clouds, trying to pick out their shapes. That one looks like...a Lapras...and that one over there looks like an Ekans!

Her Pokemon were frolicking in the tall grass, Seto stalking unseen prey, Growly bounding through the grass with Shocker and Ariel on his heels. Fang hung upside down on a branch of a tree nearby, dozing peacefully. They'd stopped for lunch just a few miles away from the southern gate of Saffron City, and were now resting before starting up again. Kassie had decided that she would return to Celadon City and challenge Erika for a Rainbow Badge, and maybe get some advice from her friend on Grass type Pokemon. She'd been thinking about adding one to her team, filling in her sixth slot and also giving her a very well rounded party. She was also leaning towards a Psychic type, but she figured if she decided to go down that path, she'd ask Nina or Sabrina about which one may suit her.

She breathed in deeply, the air was sweet and fresh. It was such a beautiful day, and nobody should be spending it indoors. She closed her eyes, thinking about the recent events. Her heart started to pound when she thought of Mike coming to her rescue, but it would stop when she'd remember how he left in such a hurry to go see Mitsu. Maybe, just maybe, she thought, as the Pokemon's game ended and they all came padding over to her, if I collected a lot of gym badges, would it impress Mike? Not only that, but it would prove that she was a tough trainer.

Her PokeNav rang suddenly, snapping her back to reality. She reached over and picked it up, looking at the name. "Ryka..?" she asked, looking up at the sky again. "Oh yes, that's the girl I met the other day, she'd found my PokeNav for me," she said, smiling at her crew before answering. "Hello?"

Kasiya felt her face go red right from the tips of her ears right down to her neck. "H-he was? Really? Wow..." she trailed off, staring at nothing in particular.

Gimme a break, Shocker rolled her eyes and darted up the tree to poke at Fang.

"If it hadn't been for him, I don't think I would've made it out of there," she admitted. "I also want to thank you," Kasiya said, sitting up. "If it wasn't for you, nobody wouldn't have been able to find me. You're a heroine in all of this too."

"I think Mike has his sights set on another girl," Kasiya admitted ruefully. "I can dream though," she laughed. "I think you'll be able to beat Misty," she said, after calming down. "You have a Pikachu, right? If you do some training, you should have no problems showing her you mean business."

((I was thinking about that too...I suppose we can have more than six, just as long as we store them and withdraw them like normal))
Kasiya leaned back in the grass again. "I never intended on catching most of my crew," she admitted. "Some of them just seemed to find me. It just feels right though, the Pokemon I have now. Most days I feel as if these guys can take on even the Elite Four! You'll find the rest of your team in due time. I've always thought it was best not to rush things." Kasiya smiled into the phone, thankful for the phonecall. It was keeping her mind off other things, other people.

"I think you can do it," Kasiya said. "You also have to believe in yourself, otherwise you won't be able to accomplish anything. Myself, I'm on my way to Celadon City to challenge Erika, the leader of the gym there.

"Don't worry about it," Kasiya said, standing up. "I should get a move on though. I'm going to at least try to make it to Celadon before nightfall." She began to gather her things, making sure she hadn't forgotten anything.

"Hey!" Kasiya called, and waved. "I guess you were closer than we thought!" She smiled. "Is there anything we need to buy in Saffron?" she asked, taking one last look around. Shocker ran over to investigate Thunder, her ears twitching excitedly.
