unless you took more then 15 minutes to teleport...the drawback of his power is time. he cannot do instant effects. he had to build it for an amount of time.

why should i ignore the statement? it sounds accurate enough. Honestly i'd probably have said the same thing, all roles reversed.

that doesn't make it against any rules for you to like him that way does it? you don't need to excuse those feelings, so just say what you think. I mean Cute guy, police officer, making something of his life that benefits humanity, insanely responsible seeming, giving you place to stay. i mean, what's not to like about the guy? I mean, if i didn't already know from the get go the guy was straighter than a ruler i'd probably like him too. well...that's not the point. the point as it stands is that you don't need to have your feelings ignored just because he hasn't figured himself out yet.And even if that doesn't end up being the case, which would make him stupider than i usually like to believe, He's allowed to not reciprocate without cruelly ignoring something as important as feelings.

besides,even if you reject that logic, saying to ignore it makes it more obvious. i mean, a cat looks cute lying on a table. so do most people. it's generally excepted that people are cuter when they sleep, so if you hadn't said that it would have been normal.

how can you hate someone for liking you? it's endearing at its worst. It is a nice boost of confidence even if it's unwanted, but liking someone isn't a crime, and i doubt he'd hate you for it. just...no. it doesn't sound like something rao would do. Give it some more time. Nothing in life is set in stone, especially with a phrase like that (unless you're like six...then the phrase changes meanings a little). Besides, the two of you are living together, it would likely feel to him as if he was taking advantage to let that kind of relationship form how things are. not that i know rao well enough to say that from his perspective, but as a guy. I know, the argument stands that he may have been trying to let you down gently...but that's not the phrase most would use. He probably doesn't think it would work out because of present circumstance, like the fact that you are living together, or some other thing that may make him think it's not time...but I don't think it would work out stands a very high probability of just being a self doubt phrase. do what you want firstly, and ignore this if it contradicts your personal will, since that's what matters, but i'd keep going for it.
