Dragon Sneeze Shinyuudai Akira "Akira, turn back now..." Ryou pleaded, no longer the dignified spirit he usually prided himself as. "I knew all along." Akira smiled, locking eyes with the woman. "I just needed to get you on to the ground..." His eyes narrowed. "Akira, this is madness!" Ryou snarled. "Madness? No, this is fate." Akira sighed. His mind raced, he had finally found Ifuuki, the one whom his father revered as the greatest, the one who held secrets to power. The one who stood above all others. "You know, power isn't a measure of how well you can discern a person, it's how easily you can destroy them." Akira called back. "Do you think you're powerful enough to defeat me?" He smiled, stepping forwards, raising his hands to the sky. "Don't forget who I am. Or are you not powerful enough to figure it out?" He grinned, tilting his head and winking at Ifuuki. Ifuuki took a step back clearly suprised. "You...little dragon..." she whispered. Quickly gaining her composure she laughed loudly. "Amazing! Simply amazing! I am here, ready to snatch a prize beyond compare and another prize, one that I have been after for nearly a century, appears before me! Will wonders never cease! I must thank you boy for bringing him here!" Akira froze, his mind racing. "What the hell are you talking about?" He asked, staring the woman in the eyes. He motioned with his hands and it clicked. "Ryou-sama?" He laughed, removing the ring and holding it up. "The Tsukumogami of the Shinyuudai clan. You were looking for this?" Akira laughed, he could barely contain himself. "This is nothing but a ring with a spirit inside it. It could be of no use to anyone but a Shinyuudai." He grinned. "I'd wager it over a battle, but you've got nothing I want, and it would be unfair, since you don't stand a chance." Akira laughed, cracking his neck and replacing the ring on his finger. "How dare you belittle me, you idiotic dolt?" The ring hissed, searing the flesh of Akira's finger. "Ryou-sama, please don't make me smelt you when we return to the village." Akira replied, a smile playing his lips. "You b*****d." the ring finished, cooling instantly. "Sorry, Ifuuki-san. Looks like Ryou-sama plans to stay with me." Akira laughed, waving his hand tauntingly. His right hand hung by his side, his fingers formed a seal stealthily.

The sun began to peak over a misty set of mountains in the country of wind. Shinji noticed. Although he had taken Rin-Tao's medicine, he felt his heart racing, and a cold sweat coming. He watched Tobasu-taichou leave the room with his search party. He sat back and thought about his conversation earlier. Flashback Chiyo nodded. "Very well, but I have one condition." She stared at Shinji fiercely. "You must take me with you." "Not a chance." Shinji snarled. Chiyo sighed. "Then good luck trying to find her yourself." "Damn it, Chiyo! I don't think you appreciate the gravity of this situation. You may have not realized that you are my prisoner! Do not make me force this information out of you!" Shinji ranted, beads of sweat started running down his forehead. "It is you who does not understand!" Chiyo shouted, showing emotion for the first time since the conversation started. "I would gladly die for my ideals!" She placed a hand on her neck and turned her head up exposing it. "If you refuse then place a kunai right here. You'll get the same amount of information out of me but will cost you less effort." Her stare became deadly. "Then you may tell your sensei just what happened to his wife." Chiyo knew she was blackmailing him but it was the quickest way to her goal. Shinji drew a kunai violently, and approached Chiyo but then hesitated. "Damn it." He whispered, almost inaudibly and stopped in his tracks. His kunai was trembling slightly. Chiyo sighed. "I knew you couldn't do it. Neither could Sabu..." Shinji's hand jerked forward again, but held back hesitantly. "You're right. I can't do it. Had I not known Sabu, I would be quite able to interrogate you the way I would need too, but I can't." She sighed, pocketing his kunai. Shinji stroked back his hair. "Fine. I've made my decision. You can come with the team. We will leave a daybreak." Shinji said slamming the door behind him. "Akira-san... Will you help me up?"

He laughed, looking her in the eyes, continuing the single-handed seals behind his back. "I've read about you, you know. Kabuku Ifuuki, the 'immortal'." He grinned, flashing his teeth at the woman. "But you, you have no idea who I am. And you have no idea what I'm capable of." "Akira, the Kabuku are unstoppable. How many people do you think have taken on this woman in combat?" Ryou hissed. "Ryou-sama, I don't care." Akira whispered, keeping his eyes locked on Ifuuki. "She still stands. She's not been beaten. Why do you think that you can win?" Ryou fumed, heating up slightly. "Because I've prepared a simple way to kill a Kabuku, utilizing my abilities fully." Akira replied, his smile deepened, transforming into a psychotic grin. "You... But what about the bodyguards?" Ryou asked, cooling down again. "Just watch." Akira smiled. He formed the final one-handed seal and coughed something quietly, so only he and Ryou could hear. "Mizubunshin-no-jutsu." The ring glowed approvingly. "Your clan is able to regenerate their cells on an atomic level, which means you heal almost instantly." Akira stated, looking over Ifuuki coldly. "Your body regulates Chakra and uses it to fuel advanced cellular reproduction, causing said spontaneous regeneration. Am I right?" He finished, his smile faded, his lips fell straight and his eyes closed slightly. "Regardless, this technique will destroy you." He chuckled, swinging up his hand, forming a string of seals with incredible speed. The Shinyuudai sprung skywards, his body shot up like a bullet and he came to the peak of his jump, forming several more seals. The Mizubunshin formed beside the bodyguards, a string of seals barely visible over its lighting fast hand motions. "SUITON: Suiro no Jutsu" The bunshin yelled, sealing the bodyguards and the lizard in a giant sphere of water. "I can produce water from the vapour in the air." Akira grinned, falling slowly and pointing a hand at Ifuuki. "And besides, this entire area is built over an underground spring." He smiled. "I did my homework, Kabuku Ifuuki." "Did you do yours?" Akira winked, forming one final seal and swinging his arm in a slashing like motion across Ifuuki's neck. "Fuuton: Kazeken no Jutsu" He smiled, the wind picking up and slashing furiously at the woman's throat. 'Did it work?' Akira thought, time froze as he formed the final seal, he waited, hoped to heaven he'd made the cut.

"Definitely interesting," a voice said from behind Akira. "But I think you should probably cut your losses now kid." Eiju stood behind Akira with a hand outstretched, covered in black chakra.
"Seriously though, you going to have to be a lot more subtle to fool my eyes and a lot faster to catch me off guard," Eiju said with a smirk as he waved his other hand at the three people trapped in the water prison. Kasa and Ryui promptly turned into more Eijus, who joined the third in giving Akira the finger before disappearing in a puff of smoke within the prison.
"Now, while I'm not quite sure if even with your 'homework' you could beat Ifuuki, I highly doubt you could beat both of us. So unless you actually have a dream of having your head blown off, I'd let Ifuuki out of whatever trump card you just used."
Eiju sounded cocky, but then again he was completely sure of himself, his eyes gleaming with glee at the prospect of an intriguing opponent.

She was in no danger, her lungs had the power to draw oxygen directly out of the water. Though the boy did rob her ability to speak. She walked toward him and slapped him across the face. Akira paused, weighing his chances against the newly turned tables. "Heh, I can't win." He smiled, looking to the floor. His cheek stung from Ifuuki's slap, reminding him of his failure. "There's just one thing, it works quite well, actually." He smiled. He listened carefully, he was definitely out-numbered, the breathing of the bodyguards behind him made him certain of that. "You can breathe the oxygen that is within the water. I wasn't aware of that. But it works well for me." He grinned, looking back up at the woman. "But what happens if you break that system as well?" He smiled deviously, swinging his free arm up, forming a seal and using his wind chakra to remove the Kabuku's head entirely, leaving it suspended in the water prison. As this happened he side-stepped, re-positioning himself in front of the bodyguards. "Now, Gentlemen." He laughed. "As long as my chakra supports this water prison, your boss will not die." He winked. "But, if you go to attack me I will be gone, and this head will be compressed by the immense pressure that I'm just dying to expose it to." "And trust me, you haven't seen my trump-card just yet." Akira grinned. He maneuvered the hand within the water prison, formed a seal and pulled it out, a series of chakra strings linked him to the prison, regulating his chakra throughout it. "Now, if you want this woman to live, take her body from the ground and hold it upright." He chuckled, walking casually away. "In 20 seconds I'm going to release her head from the prison, and then you'll have five seconds to re-attach it to her neck, before her body and her brain dies of oxygen withdrawal." He yelled back. As he walked his feet sped up. "This was a stupid thing to do." Ryou hissed. "I know, but I hate being underestimated, Ryou-sama." Akira replied coolly. "Well, you need to get out." Ryou muttered. "The talkative bodyguard is lethal, and the other one with him, I have a bad feeling about him." Ryou added. Akira smiled, his soul soared as Ryou said it. "You felt it too, hm?" He chuckled, going from a run to a swift sprint and looking back cautiously. "I suppose I should free her now." He finished, lifting up the chakra-linked hand and prepared to break the strings, freeing Ifuuki's head harmlessly from the prison. "Now?"

As Ifuuki's head released from the prison Kasa appeared in a flash of fire to catch it. He move toward Eiju as he picked up the body and they stuck the two parts of Ifuuki back together in less than a second.
Eiju spoke to Ifuuki as she was surely repairing herself. "Do you want me to track the punk down? There's no way he could outrun me and he can't hide from my eyes, not to mention I was watching his chakra flow this whole time, if he tries to pull those tricks again I'll know about it before he does them."
When his anwser did not come right away he added, "Hey, wakie wakie Ifuuki, one blink yes huh?"

Akira sprinted, his heart raced and his mind reeled.
"You idiot." Ryou snapped, "You should have killed the woman."
"Kill Ifuuki-san? No no, she'll just need to sleep for a while. After all, I starved her muscles of oxygen for a pretty good few minutes." Akira laughed, looking at the ring with a grin pasted on his face, "No, she'll be fine. I'll kill her some other time."
"Fine, but now she poses a huge threat to you and the clan." Ryou seethed, his rage was unmistakable.
"Ryou-sama, the clan has a bigger problem that Ifuuki-san. After all, I could have killed her back there, there's no doubt in my mind any more." Akira beamed.
"Akira, you put us all at risk. And how did she know of me?" The ring replied.
"Tsukumogami aren't a big secret, Ryou-sama." Akira replied.
"And like I said, The clan has an opponent that is far more dangerous to them than Kabuku Ifuuki. And that enemy is much closer than they can see." Akira chuckled, approaching the temple and going to enter.
"Akira, what do you mean?" The tsukumogami asked, the metal of the ring became deathly cold.
"I mean, if we don't get into this temple now and find the Kusanagi sword then the clan is going to have to worry about me." Akira responded.
"Me not coming back, I mean." Akira winked, "After all, I must has annoyed those bodyguard guys." He smiled.
"So, why the temple?" Ryou asked, resigning himself to Akira's plan.
"The temple rests in the center of the spring." Akira smiled. "The discharge in this area is far greater in volume, which means I'm more than able to win, should we be attacked." Akira smiled.
"And since when did you worry about water discharge?" Ryou asked, knowing full well of Akira's hidden ability.
"Never, but it's always good to have a back-up plan."
"And what did you say about Kusanagi?" Ryou asked suddenly, warming slightly.
"Ifuuki's presence confirms it. From what I know she already has the other two Imperial Treasures, at least she's been in contact with them."
"That doesn't mean she's after the third." Ryou sighed.
"But it means she's after something, and two out of three objects is 66%, which rules out coincidence in my book." Akira smiled, walking down the halls of the temple.
"No, Kusanagi is certainly somewhere within these walls." He finished, sprinting deeper into the temple.

String_Theory As Ifuuki's head released from the prison Kasa appeared in a flash of fire to catch it. He move toward Eiju as he picked up the body and they stuck the two parts of Ifuuki back together in less than a second. Eiju spoke to Ifuuki as she was surely repairing herself. "Do you want me to track the punk down? There's no way he could outrun me and he can't hide from my eyes, not to mention I was watching his chakra flow this whole time, if he tries to pull those tricks again I'll know about it before he does them." When his anwser did not come right away he added, "Hey, wakie wakie Ifuuki, one blink yes huh?" When Ifuuki's head was reattached the tissues reformed at a quarter the normal speed. She opened her mouth and tried to speak, a hissing rasped slowly formed words. Sort of. "Yosssswevesommeecantssss..." After a moment color began to return to her face. "Sssssooorryy....Myyyy...neck was in a bit of a sad state. There, that's better." Her body began to twitch in odd places as she reconnected severed nerves. "That was rather embarrassing. Not often when I'm caught off guard. I shall see that it doesn't happen again. Eiju, leave one and take the other into the temple. It will be a few minutes for me, reviving dead tissue is a bit more time consuming than regeneration."

"Right," Eiju said as he popped his knuckles and stretched his arms behind his back. "Kasairyuu, you're with me. Try to keep up and let me confront him when we catch up, if the chance arises for you to jump in, bring the pain."
Kasa just tugged his gauntlets to make sure they were snug and nodded and in a flash of fire and wind they were both gone.
Eiju moved fast, just inside the range so that Kasa could barely keep up. Eiju thought to himself,Maybe this man will be the perfect practice for that before I use it on Onryou. Even so, it will be very draining, I may just want to stick to ripping him apart with my bare hands. He tried to kill Ifuuki, and as long as I still need her anyone who attempts that is a dead man walking.
His face twisted into a fierce grin as he caught sight of Akira's chakra in the distance. He picked out a kuani from his pack and infuse it with intense wind chakra before he chucked it with uncanny accuracy at Akira's silhouette. The knife cut through trees like they were nothing but open air...

The summons had gotten them across the country incredibly fast. Kira and Tenka had even made sure to change the summons every so many miles to make sure they stayed at top speed.
Now they were only a few tens of miles away from the temple. It was at that time that Onryou stopped his mount and held up his hand.
"Do you feel it?" He said, clearly talking to the adults in the group.
"Yes," Kira said, "two, no, three intense chakras and a fourth strong chakra that seems strangely intermingled with one of them. It makes my hair stand on end, this is going to be a good fight I think."
Onryou turned back and said, "Be prepade for anything...and Rio, might I suggest that you leave Kasairyuu to someone else. I have a feeling things are not quite as they seem with him.

Akira had moved Shinji to the prison cells rather quickly. He figured that whatever it was that Shinji wanted to do it was important. Even though he seem to show little social tact, Akira was actually incredibly intuitive and seemed to pick up on a lot of physical and tone language that others missed or overlooked, possibly because his enhanced senses saw things and felt things others couldn't.
"We're here Shinji-san"
