angelgirl1984 xoredwanzox So, if you guys don't celebrate Halloween, what do you celebrate? I dont celebrate Halloween... meaning I dont participate in it at all. Now my father will tell you that they dont celebrate it either... they participate. I used to dress up and go to parties and what not until I really came into my faith as a Christian... I feel that Halloween is something that, as a Christian, I should not partake in. Some times my church has a "fall festival" but that hasnt been done in a couple years. What do I celebrate? Nothing really... but I rejoice daily in my Lord and continue to be thankful for all He has done in my life. Anywho... How are ay'll doin? Great! Ahh, I get it.. smile . My mom's church has a fall thingy, it is pretty cool, lots of games, and my personal favorite, the box mazes. ( Ican't fit in them anymore, Okay, well I couold if I tried..)

Halloween just doesn't have the same significance here as it does in the USA. The tradition of going around dressed up in outfits and knocking on doors and getting treats never started here.
It would probably be too commercialised if it ever did start.
So we know about it and might dress up if there was a specific party where we were told to wear Halloween costumes but that is basically it.
Terribly sorry about your dog, Elie.

So sorry to hear about your dog, Elie. sad
Every holiday here in the States is majorly commercialized; Halloween is now a multi-billion dollar holiday, with some people spending more on Halloween then they do on Christmas. Which is no suprise, considering that we're already getting Christmas shoved down our throats. stare

 Friends walk in and out of our lives.... I'm sorry to here about your dog Elie. ;.;
Also I don't think I'm celebrating this year either. My mom snapped at me when I asked about the outfit. She said to find something I've already worn, well I can find something I guess, but I really wanted that one outfit. And she said she'd think about the costume birthday party for a friend, that I wanted to go to. She also got mad at me for saying I needed to go to the football game for colorguard. My mom is in a very bad mood. o.o
Thank you Elie for the item too! I love it <3 ....but true friends leave footprints on our hearts.

For our family, Halloween is one of our favorite holidays. I know most of the holidays are commericalized heavily, but here in our area, I have to say that Christmas is the one that makes most of the money. We started to have Christmas stuff put out on the shelves in the end of July. *boggles* I just don't get it. I remember when I was little being able to buy Thanksgiving decorations and not you just don't see any. It's totally passed by.
To Elie: Oops...thanks for pointing out my mistake. Sorry about that.

New Game! surprised heart http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=10842101I've been trying to think up a new game to play in memory of my pups. Originally it was gonna be a simple randomizer game... but it sorta evolved now into a question-answer game. Everyone is welcome to come and join! I've listed a bunch of prizes... but if people want anything else specifically, I could track it down for you and offer it as well. We'll see how this goes!

I'm so annoyed at myself... I forgot to put my entry in to the Halloween contest on GoPets and now I won't be getting any of the Ghosts. And I took screenies last week and everything (I only get to go on the client once a week and since my job is finishing I won't even be able to do that unless I can get access to another compatible PC). crying
EDIT: 41 again??? Come on randomizer... Give me 24
