His first push up was fairly successful but he had to continue to atleast 10 or more push ups to get something out of doing these so he continued even though his arms begged him to stop already.

ProtoXtreme "That's right..." A smirk slowly crossed the pale-haired boy's lips as he slipped out another kunai. "I could've chosen any village besides Iwa, couldn't I...? Why did I choose the village furthest from Kiri, my home...? I could've chosen Ame." A pause. "Coincidence that the cavaran I was in headed towards Iwa? No... I don't believe in coincidence." Shinratsu flipped the kunai over, grasping it tightly in his palm. "What my clan called Hitsuzen." And then more softly, almost as a whisper. "A fated meeting..." "I didn't choose where I wanted to go. I don't believe it was an accident I met Shizuka, Cronos...Giglamesh, Katagi, or even you." And a small smile crossed his lips. "Hitsuzen. I believe I was meant to come here from way before I ever even made that decision." But then a frown crossed his face. "Purpose? The purpose of a shinobi...to be a humane tool. Protector and defender. Murderer and killer. And so to learn techniques...that is to be given the tools to protect, the tools to defend." Another pause, before in a quiet voice. "My nindo... I don't know right now. In Kiri, I had always followed the rules strictly by the book - Gogandantes-sensei tried to show me something else. But one thing I do know - I want to grow stronger..." And then with bitterness evident in his voice. "Once, I lost everything...I won't let that happen again. Precious people..." In his mind's eye, Shinratsu saw his father struck down again. "It's been so long since..." "A nindo is a promise, like a contract... A contract that also binds the shinobi with his or her village." Blue-gray eyes grew dark with angry determination, as he pointed the kunai in Roy's direction. "I'm willing to live out that promise for this village - whether Kiri is liberated or not - until death." Roy stood there listening to this guy ramble on. He showed a faux display of surprise when the boy smiled. he figured the emotion was beyond his understanding. Sure, Roy knew exactly why he didn't smile. Some great pain or hurt in his past and that was fine. Roy wasn't castizing him about that, he simply wanted the boy to live. To truly live. Roy had known his own share of hardship and hardache. Of course, he'd never say anything along those lines. Always thought it would be a major disrespect to others who had gone through more than he did. But still, he had his views and he had his right ot them just as this boy did. But something bugged him. It was a trend he knew all too well but it still didn't sit well with him. The boy was gun ho about death and obedience. He seemed to not mind death if it meant doing something for his villiage. Which was all well and fine but his seemed...it seemed deeper than that. Like he'd leap to any reason of death if it meant some loft ideal of retribution or pentence. Of course, Roy might have been reading to much into it but he didn't think so. As he answered the questions, Roy began to show a face of bordem and listlessness. Upon finishing the words, Roy played off a yawn and looked to him. "You done yet?" He began to walk around the area a bit, randomly tossing the rock in his hand still idoly. "I've heard that speech so many times before I got it memorized from far better Shinobi than you or me may ever be. "To be as a weapon to defend and attack those my country tells me too. To obey my country without fault and execute my mission without failure. To bore me the hell to death because they can't see the bigger picture." he ended and sighed. "You suffered a lot. That much I'm not debating. You don't smile. That much I understand. You lost something. Something you can't get back. So did I. Not saying you gotta go running up and down the street cheering and hopping around like some bubbly idiot on crack but...if you lost someone in the war, do you really think their happy seeing you down here all moody and obsese with revenge? Shinobi are weapons. That much is true. Shinobi are tools. That much is a painful annoyance. But before all of that, Shinobi are human. NEVER forget that. You said that as well but you twisted it to not be as it should. Human means to live and breath and enjoy this short time we have on this earth. As far as we know, you get no second chances, no do overs, no retakes. This is it, the here and now. You get it right or die trying dammit. Your nindo isn't some contract with your village or contry. It's a contract with yourself and your soul. You can break contracts with a country. You can abandon a villiage but you only have yourself in this world at the end of the day and you can't lie to yourself. Your nindo is a promise to yourself. A vow to do something spectacular that you yourself will be proud of in the end. If you vow to grow stronger, than do it for yourself, not for some villiage, not for some country, not for anyone but yourself. And if, with that strength, you end up protecting thsoe that you hold dear, then you know you gained it for a good reason...you can't bring back those who have died. Just like they can't bring you back. SO do what you can while your here and live each day to its fullest." Roy sighed and scratched his head and sighed...he hated when he got too passionate about things. "Bah...whatever...you pass." Roy sighed as he turned around to walk off from the kid. "But for future reference, simply 3 word answers would be just as good. damn your long winded when you feel like it."

He stopped at the second and simply looked around at his surroundings and thought about things up until now .Firstly he ad passed Gennin exams and then left the village after the attack of the masters and was found by his best friend Hiro soon after they stumbled upon Iwagakure where they found Yamato who back stabbed them and ran his a** back to Suna so he could squeal on them like the jackass he was a traitor to his comrades that was considered complete trash on Tobi's book .
It made him so angry that he was hopeless to do anything as Yamato ran away it made him so angry he wanted to run back to Suna and murder the b*****d ,but with the security there he wouldn't have a chance but now he was coming after them with reinforcements .Tobi could picture the b*****d with a smile on his face running back to Iwagakure with Nova right beside him thinking Now were going to get em' .
This was all his fault for dragging Hiro into this hell hole and he so badly wanted to do something about but couldn't .Now if they died it would all of Tobi's fault it was his fault that Hiro wouldn't be to become a puppet master .He just needed power the power to secure the safety and happiness of his friends.
His eyes burned s tears were going to burst out but something also came as his tears fell a red pupil condition the legendary doujutsu the prized weapon of the Uchiha clan the Sharingan! He popped up and looked at his hands and looked at the chakra flowing through his veins and every little texture on the ground he looked around for something to look at.
He soon found that this was the gift the gift his mother said she would give but couldn't in his time of dire need this was the gift the Sharingan it wasn't complete but it would help them greatly .He decided to turn it off ad keep this a secret from the others. If Hiro was to see these devil eyes he didn't know what he would think so he returned to the group and sat down to start on his second and longer round of push ups.

Izumi was completely absorbed in the Art of War and heard nothing Tobi had been saying to him. He only moved to take a small bite of the lunch Ryoko had packed for him. A few minutes later he blinked and looked up at Tobi as if he just spoken to Izumi moments ago. "So.... We were just kicked into a wall and given humiliating nicknames because we fought in a public place.... And now you want to have another fight in a public place? Interesting...."

"Yeah lets fight " He said jumping into the air atleast 5 feet ready to topple Izumi with a punch he was going to use his gokken stance so hopefully it would hurt...bad.part of the reason he challenged Izumi to a battle was because he wanted a rematch from there last confrontation.

(Hey don't you need 20 points in Taijutsu for Goken? You only have 15...)
Izumi rolled backwards to avoid Tobi's attack and quickly put the scroll and his lunch off to the side for safe keeping. As he rose to his feet he brought his fist up in an uppercut to Tobi's chin. "So.....rash...."

"Heh..." A sad expression crossed his face but Shinratsu turned around to head back to the refugee house, his long hair disguising his expression. But then he stopped walking for a moment and raised his voice. "Thank you..." And then more quietly. "But it isn't for passing me."
Veiled by the dark shadows, Shinratsu's pale, blue-gray eyes held sadness...regret... Human. That's right, he was still human and that would never change. He would grow stronger over time...and most certainly would end more lives than those he had already accidentally taken...witness more death than just his clan's massacre... He could try and shut himself from the world but he was still human no matter what.
Mistress may be an immortal monster, but he was a human being with a normal lifespan. He can't waste this chance but he can't just throw away life carelessly either. There were things he still must do after all - and things he...held a want...? A want to give this village something... A want to give Iwa his all.
Was that a spark of love for this place...? Shinratsu looked around, observing the buildings with expressionless eyes. How strange. Back in Kiri, even though he had spent most of his life there, he never felt any real connection to that village. And yet, here he was, in a totally different village within the rocky mountains...and he was...he was willing to live and die here...
What was love? And what was mindless loyalty? So many things to think over...

He looked around the room it was a a run down room for the price of the tickets, it was made of steal and there was two wooden beds and a small table. Nova looked the table he took some of food of the table and eat some of the food and eat and fell to asleep from his long journey.
Nova woke in the dead of night the chill caught the boat. He felt the cool air agenst his face. He looked off in the sky he could see the shifting sand from the boat. The sky glitterd from starts in the sky. Nova walked back into the bath room and locked the door behind him. He striped and took a long shower since he had not bathed since he was in Suna. He woke up latter to find out he fell alsleep for 15 mins he took his fresh cloths and layed on his bed.

Giglamesh had been spending a while know watching roy retest shinratsu from a alley, and while it simply infuriated him that the upper ranks went over his decision to fail him, somthing inside him knew it was what he had wanted. Giglamesh had taking a liking to a student, somthing wich he had never wanted, he saw the look of confusion in shin's eye a confusion he knew all to well.
He was siting atop a wood crate in a alley quite close simply realaxed and listening to the situation. He had grown bored and was placing a apple on inside of his elbow balencing it there, thenrapidly flexing his arm tossing the apple high in to the air of which he would catch and do agin. But somthing sparked fimularity in gig as he witnessed shin looking around in obscurity. He would then stand and walk directly at shin. Roy had gave a simular talk to shin that he did, and the speeches he has been given seem to fianly have sunk in to shin head.
Giglamesh would walk directly past shin and wouldnt even give him a second look but he would state somthing and while his voice was low it was always deep and should be heard. "Nu kuru naisa...........Live for today, but always look foreward to tommrow." Giglamesh would simply keep walking even as he spoke as if he wassnt directing it at anybody, as if saying it aloud.

As the young clan head slowly crossed through the next street, he had a little run-in with Giglamesh. No words were initially exchanged but... Live for today, but always look forward to tomorrow... The same thing Roy wanted to have him understand.
Shinratsu paused for a moment, but didn't cast a glance at the older shinobi's slowly retreating back. After all, what were there to say? They weren't teacher and student anymore. But, but...suddenly, this whole Academy experience became something more. No longer was it simply being top of the class...no longer was it simply passing...
No, it was also interacting and enjoying the company of others, and truly find why it would be worth it to defend them... To defend his comrades and this village with everything in the future. To defend them no matter at what odds. Never giving up living. Roy... The other boy tried to show him that the nindo wasn't a mere contract. Unlike in Kiri, where the nindo was set, by the book...the harsh code of a shinobi... Rules, in the most plain sense.
Contracts like that, it could be broken... Like choosing the safety of ones comrades over a mission. And even if it was breaking the official "rules", the promise to oneself...the personal rules...was still something a shinobi could take pride in. It was still something a shinobi should be proud of.
Live. Not to live as a tool. It feels so odd...he was raised as one after all. A tool to inherit a prominent clan of the Mist. A tool raised to someday defend Kiri. To give up his life like many before. But a tool suddenly ending up in the wrong village, like a fishnet washing up into a rocky wasteland. A small smile crept across his face. What was wrong with him...? But the very notion...it was....funny... Was that what he was like...a fishnet in the wrong country...?
No. Fishnets could be useful too. And the threads could be reused to recreate something else. From something crude into something beautiful. He would probably get yelled at again if he told anyone of such an odd comparison. But that was alright.
Tonight, just for tonight he didn't feel like returning to the refugee house. A sudden urge to really explore the village... How odd. He was here for a whole year, and never felt so...complied...to truly take a look around Iwa.
Quickening his steps, the boy disappeared off into the darkness.
