Grevious looked up at the massive gates of the Lavorian capital. He sighed as he walked forwards, streak behind him, and entered the city. The trip was fairly un-eventful save for a few brigands who thought they'd get the better of two weary travelers, Grevious made sure they paid for there mistake with blood. As he walked thought the city he looked about at the misery and depression that had sunk into the capital on the wake of Reinsen's massive war.
Shaking his head he headed for the palace, at the very least he'd find someone who could take this man off of his hands. Ideally he wanted to find Reinsen, he had much to tell him, most of which he assumed that he already knew, and the prisoner was at the top of the list.

Niobe picked up her pace now and struck at groups of undead instead of individuals. A dead hand touched her occasionally, and she would be tempted to stop and slay them all, but a voice would say to her Later. Later and she'd push on. The shrieks from Sylph, however, were really starting to wear on Niobe's nerves. She was never one known for her patience. The further they walked, the darker and colder it got. If Niobe had been less experienced, this would've been one hell of a practice hall for her. She was actually beginging to get excited. Sylph stepped on the back of Niobe's foot and she imagined dangling Sylph from a tree, just out of reach of the undead. That tought perished when she reached the begining of the forest of 1,000 souls. One look at the sky full of souls, withered trees, and masses of undead and Niobe's pleasure was gone.
s**t
At her back, Sylph whimpered and Niobe backed up and turned around. She cleared a circle around the two of them, and began whistling. It was a shrill, demanding and urgent call. Pushing from behind the normal undead present, Niobe's army stood faithfully in front of their master. Sylph was speechless, but looked up at Niobe with eyes that said "You called them?!!!".
"Barricade us."
At her command, Niobe's zombies rushed passed her to make rows and rows of squads, a few went to the sides.
"Forward!"

Issildia along with Sin traveled on for some time, moving ever closer to the Eradonian pass within the Heriden mountains. Within the time frame of little under half a day they caught sight of the dark peaks of the mountain range. Traveling without pausing for rest they had cut their traveling time nearly in half, yet a much greater expanse was still set before them before they reached the borderlands of Larovia.
As they finally entered the forested expanse of the mountain side and approached the fort like settlement based around the main body of the pass, Issildia became increasingly anxious. Normally the mountain pass was crawling with larovian soldiers...but now few remained for nearly all had been called out to where the northern forces were mobilizing.
Entering the fort was easy enough, the sentry posted at the roughly constructed pine gates immediately allowed them through as Issildia discreetly showed the soldier the silver and onyx pendant which was nearly always hidden away beneath her black vest. It was one of three crests that bore the Nevar sigil; one belonged to her father, the second belonged to Lord Darsha and Issildia was in possession of the third.
Never were questions asked when one of the three crests was shown, such was the case now.
As they entered the small dusty settlement Issildia glanced at Sin.
"I'll see to it that horses are prepared for our departure, we will leave within the hour, prepare yourself as you see fit... for we will be traveling will all possible haste once we leave the pass."

Sin looked at Issildia and rolled his nodded before saying to her.
"you probably won't need a horse for me if were going though the mountains but if you really want to... anyways I need rest more then anything right now, the city fight and the non-stop journey has kind of made me a bit useless... I doubt I could even light a candle much less fight... but if all we have is an hour then I'll try and make due..."
Sighing Sin shrugged, with a 'I'm feel so useless' look on his face and went over to a part of the wall around the fort and sit down, resting as best he could with all the noise around him.

Streak, even though he had been walking, was not actually completly concious until he reached the city. When he reached the city, a powerful aura hit him, like a blow to the head. He showed no reaction, but he had felt it. Reinsen was near. As they continued on towards the palace, Streak hoped they would walk near a shadow or a dark alleyway. That way, he could get more energy and even escape. He had no look, obviously Grevious was being very cautious.
As they reached the door-step to the palace, Streak lost his hope for escape. His shoulders slumped and his head and eyes faced down. He drank from his water bottle as if it contained alcohol. He sighed and waited for whatever was to happen to him next. The only hope he had left was the hope that Reinsen was out in battle and the aura belonged to a powerful guard of Reinsen, but his instincts told him otherwise.

~Darsha's Palace ~Malkaia had returned to Darsha's side as one of their scouts had returned to report on his findings. Malkaia did not seem so thrilled at the news they received, but the information proved more vital than they had imagined.~Master Darsha!BE SILENT!!! I can hear you just fine.Forgive me my lord. I have returned with my report.Speak.We went to survey Baledon Sukiyo, just as you ordered...Spare me the details. Did they find the Crystals?No my lord.Useless fool!!!~Darsha makes a wave of his hand, and Malkaia executes the scout, hurling one of his throwing knives into his forehead. As the other guard dragged his corpse out of the hall, Aschera's voice could be heard as he calmly approached the two of them.~What we found is far more valuable than the crystal shards you seek.Explain.I'm sure you are aware that Faltora has fallen, but what you are not aware of is the fact that the soldiers who were responsible for this were Maharan. stare This information was not repotred to me.Yes. The Trenian soldiers were hiding undercover within Larovia's forces. They slaughtered your brothers army, and took Faltora for themselves. Also, I hate to do this Malkaia, but this is vital.I believe so.What are you talking about.Malkaia is also Mahara. Although he does not align himself with Takinowa, he is of their blood. BUt that his not the point. We found a body at Baledon Sukiyo. A body that was identical to Malkaia. It was lying dormant, but it was still breathing.What do you mean breathing?Breathing. As in, Alive.Interesting. it was identical to Malkaia you say? Have you any clue to who this body might be?We are still investigating, but if it is who I believe it is, I think it would be wise for Malkaia to remain clear of those ruins.I see.What of Azrielle?We did not see him, but being what he is, that doesn't surprise me.Figures.This war is becoming more and more interesting by the minute.Your orders?My army will remain out of this war. This is Reinsen's problem so we shall wait to see how he handles it. As for the two of you. I want you to keep an eye out for Takinowa. He will surely make an appearance once he's realized what we've found.understood.Fine.~Forest of 1000 Souls~ ~Azrielle ahd been heading toward Baledon Sukiyo, when his body had suddenly given out. His wings stiffened, and he found himself plummetting back toward the Earth unable to move completely. He burst through the tree tops, and landed hard on the ground. Once the dust settled, and he regained control over his body, he calmly began to walk westward as he seemed to be following a certain energy signature.He seemed concerned, but his face as usual showed no expression.~I have little time. I must find that girl, before he is awakened.

"The land beyond the mountains is riddled with forested areas but I know this part of the kingdom well, the paths with be easy enough for horses to travel and it would be best for us to conserve our strength instead of wasting it in traveling on foot." She then turned towards the large military structure that dominated the small settlement, like tha gate that guarded the pass the structure was roughly made and constructed of wood. "Rest while you can, I will return soon." With that she left Sin there to make arrangements for departure.
~While a stable hand adorned a dark roan and a dappled gray destrier with tack, Issildia waited outside the moderately sized stables with her arms stiffly crossed. The least of her worries was the physical exhaustion that was finally beginning to take a toll on she and Sin from all that had transpired within the last few hours, though paramount in her mind...was their current location and the proximity to the ruins to the north. Issildia had not set foot east of the Heriden mountains since the fall of Anier. No more than a half a day from now she would be in sight of Lake Veldan and the ashen city that it now guarded, and this was no pleasant thought. Though her solace was broken by an all to familiar voice.
"So once again the unwilling are forced by circumstance to go where they do not will...how ironic that you of all people walk such a path now Issildia."
Out of the darkness cast by the building a form began to come into being, Issildia immediatly drew her blade and leveled it at Luin Ryera's neck as he appeared a matter of steps in front of her.
"Luin." she uttered with disgust. "What purpose would the likes of you have here?"
"I am tempted to ask you the same question." he retorted coolly.
Without a moment's warning Issildia flicked her blade forward as if to slit his throat but he countered just a quickly; a stiletto knife appearing in his hand in an unseen instant and caught her sword near the hilt with the slender blade, altering the angle ever so slightly so that the flat of her sword was all that now threatened him. In an idle motion he used his palm to hold off the blade of the sword while the sharp angled cross guard of his knife twisted around the hilt of Issildia's sword, rendering it immobile for the moment.
"I did not come here to fight." Luin warned as he tightened the grip on the stiletto, the fang like cross guard biting into Issildia's right hand which still grasped the hilt of her sword, blood trickled from the cut, staining the stiletto with a red sheen.
"You now walk on dangerous ground Issildia, you know not what you seek..."
"Are you now concerned for my well being Luin? How touching." she retorted, her words dripping in sarcasm.
"He will kill you Issildia, he is no longer himself..." Luin said with venom. "Azrielle never was truly part of Anier, he deceived you all...he can not be trusted."
"I need information Luin, there are to many questions that remain unanswered...and unless you feel like divulging such knowledge then I will have to seek such answers elsewhere. I have no other choice."
"Trenius Sekia is not safe, your father now marches upon it with a declaration of war...yet that is not even the half of it." he replied in a grim tone.
"Why do you want me to know this Luin...why are you trying to help me?" she questioned harshly, her blood continuing to stain her hands along with the stiletto.
"I'm not helping you, I am helping myself." he answered bluntly, his eyes darkening. Finally he drew back, releasing her sword as he withdrew the knife and ever so carefully sheathed it without bothering to wipe the blood away.
"Go back to your desert Ryera, your words mean nothing..." Issildia stated, her words laced with ice.
A curious smirk then crossed Luin's face as he looked at her, "You choose death as your fate, so be it..."
"Death comes for us all, it is a fate that none can escape...not me or even you Ryera."
"Perhaps." returned Luin as his own shadow began to spiral up his body. "Or perhaps not." at that moment the shadows consumed him and he disappeared as if he had never been.
~~~Merely a matter of minutes later Luin reappeared within the darkened halls of the Tower of Vestain. Jadea stood off to the side looking down at an onyx table that had a single item set upon it. A metal shard that was laced with deep set runes that mimicked the ancient script that adorned the inner walls of the very tower that they stood within. The shard was small enough to easily lay within an open palm and it held a dark allure that glimmered with an unearthly light.
Luin looked at Jadea with an expression of satisfaction as he withdrew the stiletto knife that was still stained with remnants of Issildia's blood.
"What if it doesn’t work...Khastur has disappeared and he was the only other that suited the..." Jadea said, her voice going silent as Luin looked at her.
"There is no point in considering failure, for there is no consideration needed, I have the blood." he answered.
Jadea merely nodded as Luin stepped forward and held the knife at an angle over the metal shard set upon the table. Slowly a single drop of blood trickled down the knife until it reached the tip. It hung there for a single moment before it plummeted down to make contact with the metal shard.
Luin and Jadea looked at it expectantly as all remained silent.
"You must have been mistaken..." Jadea complained as she frowned; the metal shard remaining cold and unmoving.
"Have patience." Luin cautioned as suddenly the drop of blood sank into the dark gray of the metal and the runes carved into the surface of the shard swelled with a weak silver light before once again dying out.
A satisfied expression crossed Luin's face. "Make preparations, we have much to do."
Jadea immediately departed from the room and hurried down the enormous spiral stair that was cut directly into the interior of the tower, leaving Luin alone in the room. "Hopefully she won't meet her end all to soon..." he whispered.~~~
Sighing Sin tried as best he could to rest and re-gain some of his strenght, but there was something about this place that just wouldn't let him. After nearly half an hour of trying he gave up, standing up and leaning agest the wall, waiting for Issildia.
~Within the Forest of 1000 souls, Azrielle had taken a more cautious approach to his target. He seemed to be stalking someone, but they were completely oblivious to his presence. They were so deep within the forest that, even the undead would steer clear of their presence. Arriving a what seemed to be a tomb of sorts, the man released a sigh of relief and proceeded to its doors. Once he tried to force his way in, the shrieks of the Yakayu could be heard in the area. It was then that Azrielle had decided to show himself.~
What in the hell? Why won't it open?
That door will only open for those who sleep within.
Who the hell....YOU!!! stressed
stare Damien Ryera. I see you are still taking orders from your brother.
You are supposed to be dead. How did you survive?
The question is how will YOU survive this encounter, should you not return to me what is mine.
What was that?
You have with you a set of crystals that hold the power I possess. You will return it to me.
I think not.
So be it. evil
~Azrielle slowly began to walk toward Damien, his image fading from sight as Damien readied his blade for an attack. Once Azrielle reappeared, Damien swung his blade at him, only to strike nothing but air. Stubling forward a bit, Azrielle dropped his elbow onto the back of Damien's neck, driving him deep into the ground. It was then that Azrielle held a small poutn in his hand. When Damien looked up at the pouch he came to realize that the one he had been carrying with him was now missing.~
Now that I have these, I have no use for you.
How did you? You will give those back to me!
You will become a meal for the Yakayu, seeing as you have just invaded their territory. I bid you a fare well Damien Ryera.
~With that, Azrielle spread his wings and took to the skies, leaving Damien behind to fend for himself against the approaching Yakayu. Now that he had aquired that which he had been searching for, he could carry out his plans as he saw fit.~
