Mist gasped and collapsed onto the floor, hands over her neck.

Riku growled and shook his head as he brought himself to his feet, kicking some of the rubble away from him. Well, suppose it was stupid to just stand there with the Spider. He thought that his old blood would let him kill her though. Apparently that wasn't the case. He turned and lept into the broken part of the room he had just flown through, staring at both the spider and the other woman. Whatever advantage he had before over the woman, was apparently gone. It must have been that new suit she had.

He prepared to leap at one of the two, but heard something behind him and turned just in time to feel Alex tackle him back into the room.

Misty had just caught her breath when she felt fingers clamp around her throat again. Much to her surprise, it wasn't Riku that had her again. She struggled to breathe and clawed at the arm. Until her stomach healed enough, she couldn't use much but her healing. If she did switch to her strands, she risked bleeding out again. The next best thing would be her spider legs, but she was usually hesitant about using them when her opponent had an upper hand like this. Mostly from what Gossamer and a few others had managed to do to them.
But...if the hand got any tighter, she wouldn't have any choice.


Riku managed to flip Alex off of him, and spun to face her. He took a quick glance behind him to make sure the woman wasn't going to attack him, and a bit to his surprise, found her attacking Misty. He grinned slightly and turned his attention back to Alex, who had also noticed the scene. She charged to leap past him and towards the two, but he shot a tendril out at her foot and swung her back into the wall.

Misty's mouth opened in a soundless scream, and her face contorted in pain. Reflex kicked in without thought and four legs shot out of her back and launched towards her attacker, trying to pry and pierce at anything they could.


Alex's eyes widened, and she tried again to get over towards Misty. Again Riku grabbed her and threw her back. "Let it happen." he growled.
Alex responded with a wolf like growl and shot a blast of fire at both Riku and the woman.

Alex again tried to leap past, and again Chaos stopped her. She roared and slashed her claws at him, but they simply slid across his new armor. He took hold of her hands and pinned them to the wall so she couldn't attack him. A few green spikes shot out to pin the leggs of her pants to the wall to make sure she couldn't kick him either.


Misty's hand soon loosened from the woman's arm, and slowly slid away. A moment later, the area under the two became very dark. The shadow suddenly lifted off the ground and wrapped around part of them. Shadow soon rose out of the twisted darkness, and stood to the side of them. She took one look down at Misty, then her eyes shot back towards the woman. Four long black legs also sprung from her back and arched threateningly around her. "Drop her. Now." she said in a quiet and dangerous tone.

There was a slight poping sound that came from the apparently now unconcious woman's neck.
Shadow Spider shot to the side to dodge the blast, grimmaced a bit at hearing the sound, and slipped back into the floor. "Fine." her voice echoed. With that, the shadow around the two began to rise higher. Wrapping around the woman and began solidifying a bit. What shadow had already covered her, either tried to restrain her, or tried to force itself into whatever crack in the armor it could find. Planning on solidifying and expanding enought to begin breaking the suit apart. If not, then get to the vulnerable person inside.

[enter Hush from Eastern Bloc Headquarters]

Hush emerged from the entrance of the Bloc HQ, and made his way back to Gotham City. His home was not very far from Wayne Manor; his family had been rather wealthy itself. He waited for Blackstone to catch up, though he had the feeling that the man had more power than he let on.

"Welcome to Gotham City. City of the Bat," Hush said to Blackstone. He'd have sounded like a your guide if it hadn't been for that whisper of his that made that comment sound conspiratorial. He began to lead the way to his mansion.

"The Batman." That was all Hush said, but his tone of voice let on a MUCh darker overtone.
