She slowly pulled her wrist away and licked the wound closed, settling down next to Valzar after doing so. It's nothing for you to worry about now. Now you need to think about what you're going to do with me. I tend to get into trouble when I'm bored.

That's why you have me. I can teach you. It'll take lots of studying and practice, but you're a pretty devoted student already, so that shouldn't be too hard for you.

Time passed all too quickly for the young couple. Before they knew it faint beams of sunlight were breaching the cave's entrance. Valzar held Callista, his Callista, cradled close to his heart. "What happened to the night?"

She cuddled down next to Valzar to hide from the stray beams of light. "We used it all up. You need to go soon, before the sun gets too high for your eyes. It might be too high now, and I'd feel bad if you got hurt because you were with me."
