I actually liked the Painted Lady a lot. It drew a lot of attention to Katara's compassionate side. Plus, I liked that mystical deity aspect to it. I thought the Beach was dumb, mostly due to the dialog. It was so angsty and predictable.
It just bothered me that the Southern Water Tribe had like 15 people in it and a few ice huts, while the Northern Water Tribe had a huge palace and much more elaborate way of life. Even if the Southerners were attacked a lot, it didn't make sense that they lived so primitively compared to their sister tribe. So yeah, learning that all the benders were captured again and again made a lot of sense.

Four and a half hours. I want time to speed up until he gets here, then slow down until he leaves. Damn it.
And damn them for sticking me in the underwear department tonight. D: I wanted to be in the back office, not out on the floor dealing with people. I'm too jittery.

I wonder how many will actually remember. So far my friend Tony, Ming, Hyanth, Caran, Red, and Psycho have said something early. I am currently considering just borrowing $4 and buying a new book for myself to read all day. It's not like Monday will be anything special since bar hopping was tossed out the window, thanks to my paranoid mother.
