Oh please oh please oh PLEASE let this work out. I will be absolutely miserable if we've gotten this far into planning for him to come down here tomorrow night only to have it blow up in our faces. I miss him, and I want some time with him that DOESN'T involve having three or more other people there.

I'm thinking that I probably shouldn't have conceived an ending to The Aristocrats joke that focuses on the destruction of every universe in existence.

I remember in the trailer there were some awesome battle scenes and Appa and Sokka dressed in armor... is that related at all?

Hmm. Wolffy, if you could, what would you bend?

Ah, I remember in the trailer there were scenes of Appa and Sokka with armor, and all these really amazing looking battle clips. And Teo!

I should wiki the synopsis for next week...

Hmm. Wolffy, if you could, what would you bend?

The wiki isn't updated, I think. Next week should be Nightmares and Daydreams, right?

The invasion isn't set to air until the 30th anyway. And yeah, the episode is full of good stuff. Like 80% of the stuff they haven't explained until now gets laid out. Plus everyone gets to show off, so everybody looks ******** awesome.

Though, none of the trailers have shown any of the best stuff. So, it's something to look forward to.

I would probably be an Earthbender, though air would be nice too. Earth seems to be the most convenient one though, and I kind of like the style. What about you?

I'M EXCITED. gonk
I like waiting for the episodes... it's something to look forward to every week, and it's so worth it when they come on.

And I'd be a water-bender, most definitely. I like its healing powers and soft look, which has that hidden intensity and deadliness. And, as I recently discovered in The Puppet Master, it's ******** evil!

Yeah, the creators had mentioned a lot of really ******** evil ways to use bending. But I didn't think any of them would really be used in the show. Still, blood bending was probably one of the more interesting ones and it was cool that they did an episode on it.

And yeah, I'm looking forward to where they go after this. I just hope they can keep the pace up, since the season started out kind of slow but really picked up after a few episodes.

Hmm, where did you see this talk of evil bending? I want to see that. xD

I like to think of these filler episodes as "environment development" rather than story or character... We get to see more of the Fire Nation, which has been nothing but gorgeous so far compared to all the other places. I enjoy it, anyways.

Plus, The Puppet Master has answered a question that has bothered the hell out of me since Book 1: why is the Southern Water Tribe so SMALL?

I'm sure it the pace will quicken though. Apart from the invasion, Aang still needs a fire-bending teacher, Sparky Sparky Boom Boom Man needs to die, Zuko will either realize he's a good guy or die at the end of the series, Teo and Suki need to make an appearance [if Suki's still alive anyway], Aang and Katara should stop being oblivious idiots, and Iroh... IROH! heart

And all of that won't fit unless every episode from here on is action-packed, right?! xD

Well, like I said, most of that is addressed during the invasion. They still have plenty to work with, but it seems like the tension is going to drop off pretty heavily. Not that I mind, but some of those episodes are painfully slow.

A lot of them are alright, but some of them I would rather skip through. And with so much to address involving the main characters it really doesn't feel like they should be wasting as much time on random fluff. The Beach was alright, but The Painted Lady felt like it should have been a comic or something. It didn't feel like it added anything really to the characters and was kind of hard to watch.

Though I thought the Water Tribe thing was obvious. They lived in fear that they would be attacked, and Katara is young so for her mother to be killed it means they probably got attacked fairly recently. Plus the Northern tribe is really where everything was anyway.

The evil bending thing is just something thats thrown around a lot when talking about the series, and I think someone brought it up as a question once during a panel or something. It wasn't really addressed because obviously they can't show it, most of it was pretty gruesome stuff like using fire bending to raise the temperature of someone's body and boil their organs, using airbending to create a vacuum and suffocate your opponents, stuff like that. Blood bending/water puppetry was definitely brought up though.

Blood bending?! Holy crap, I need to catch up on Avatar. I'm still only in Book 2. xp

The next ten hours need to go FASTER. I'm impatient.

Blood bending was mighty impressive I think, but water bending is not my thing.
For one, I hate the Ocean, and two I can't swim. emo

I'd say I'm more of a Fire bender, but I'd use blue flame rather then the normal red flame.

My personal favorite for this season would be Sokka's Master.
