Black Rock Shooter Miyuki And I'm sure it is. For people who've been here a long time. For others, come on every guild says that. But it's pointless to ask of people who barely know each other. 
sorry but I need to jump in too, we are a family, and we all try hard to welcome others into the family. It's kinda saddening to me, that even though we try to accept others into the family, you just don't want to try, atleast, that's what it seems like to me. Allen and Livv only said the things they did because they want everyone to learn so that they too can feel like the rest of us do, so that even though you are all new, you can feel welcomed into the family. It sounds to me, like you just don't even want to try. We care about all our members, and we just want them all to feel the same way, new and old alike, that we are all together, that we can confide in eachother. We don't just expect it out of you, we aren't forcing it upon you, but really, like I said before, it's sad that you would fight for the side of not wanting to be closer to everyone, even though all they ask is that you welcome them, just as we have welcomed you all into the guild.We're not shoving anything down your throat, but even if you joined the guild to talk about D Gray Man and to share in the fan-ism or whatever you may call it, we welcomed you, and it's only right, that if you see someone else in the guild, you can assume that they joined the guild to be part of the same fan related talk as you, and isn't that the whole point? To join up with people that like the same things you do?

It's nice but it's hardly realisitic. I've been on this lovely third rock from the sun long enough to know that no one is going to remember to do it all the time or even want to most of the time.
Soooooo, whatsherface coming in and raging "I'm the former owner greet me curse you! rageface" doesn't make folks uncomfortable?
I'd rather not take it to PMs thanks because then my point doesn't get made. The thing is that it's sweet for some folks to have warm fuzzies for each other but forcing it on others is too much. It makes them feel like they're unwelcome for not wanting to be part of a love/weepweep oh poor us fest.
