I didn't know where else to put this really but I've just changed my username to Grey Gardens from IdlersDream. smile

We ask all mods to keep an eye out for unfamiliar names- occasionally they're newbies who haven't been sorted yet.
But name changes can slip by unless you owl your Head of House. Even then, sometimes you don't get your full points totals, because a counter doesn't realize you've changed your name.
In fact I'm going to add to the (forthcoming) FAQs so everyone is sure to get their point totals at the end of the term: if you change your name, post your new name in the Great Hall, besides owling your Head of House so she can change it. It's good to let your House mates know in the Common Room too.

I'm sorry I didn't alert you guys when I changed my name, I had to get off immediatly after, it was literally the last thing I did that day, and when I got on next time, I had forgotten

I apparated in to give you a heads up that there are a few new contests, as well as a brand new shoppe in Haven where you can list your talents and people can pay you!
There's also an all-in-one-place list of the current contests going on (11 of them)! and some other announcements.
Pardon the babbling, I'm a bit tired! Tomorrow I get to watch Spiderwick Chronicles and Sunday National Treasure 2 (gotta love Netflix, which I don't know if anywhere but the US has - a service which loans and mails you DVDs for a fee right to your door ).Also, I'm looking for a Photoshop wizard or witch who can re-color some jpgs for me. If you can do that, please owl (pm) me!

Hello, everyone. I'm Twilight_of_Life...a few of you may have seen me lurking about...anyway...I just wanted to put a plug for something I posted in the fanfiction and poetry subforum under the thread Harry Potter Literature works and Poetry. It's the very last post and it is a poem entitled Slytherin Pride. I also want to plug in that I have a roleplay that I've titled Flames Beneath the Ice. It's a Draco/Hermione roleplay and the role of Draco is open because the original person that had it is uncormfortable with multi-person roleplays. The role of Hermione has been taken by myself and after Draco is taken all interested members can play any of the other characters they wish, they are free. There's more in the thread about it if you are interested.

I'm pretty good. Wondering why there are rarely any Slytherins around. I think I've got to be one of the most active ones in this guild. And I also wish someone would go to the fanfiction subforum, go to the Literary poetry works thread and read the poem I posted.
