*Aitrus walked up the path to the Muffin. As he got closer he felt a strong energy emanating from inside and paused a second. It was an energy unlike anything he had ever felt before, but it was a peaceful energy. Greatly calming in nature. A smile faintly crossed his lips as he walked up to the door of the Inn and opened it, stepping inside.*

"I'm turning into an angel..." he looked down feeling another surge of energy, emitting more of the calm aura, "The problem is...I'm absorbing too much energy and makes me blind..."

"Yes, it has." *He responds a bit distractedly as his eyes locked onto Kai, identifying him as the source of the strange energy and wondering what it was that was causing it. Yet at the same time not worried at all about Kai, knowing somehow it was right for him to be that way. He steps away from the door, moving slowly over in Kai's direction.*

He heard another heartbeat but stayed quiet, "Yeah..."he rubbed his hands together.

Kai looked up but just saw some lines of his face. Kai stretched his hands and touched Aitrus face. His eyes widened and let go.

His eyes widened and let go. *Aitrus' hand came up and caught Kai's hand as he withdrew it, feeling the energy all the more because of the contact between them. The smile on his face widened a bit, but with a shadow of sorrow barely masked behind his closed eyes as he remained speachless.*

Arlen came downstairs slowly. He wanted to be with Lily, but he hadn't been able to sleep more than an hour or so, and there was only so much time he could spend in the room while Lily was asleep. Seeing the scene, he stopped halfway down and sat down quietly. He was unsure of what was going on, but it looked personal.

Sapphire stands and goes over to join them holding her lyre in her one hand and using the other to take hold of Kai's other hand. "We'll get through it together." She whispers to him a tear on her face as she looks at the others.
