[ Songpaw skin formed a bump from the bite Ember had given her.
She let out a sigh of pain, as the bite hurt, but her face hurt much worse. ]
" Ugh.. Ow... "
[ Songpaw let loose of the snake's grip, and pushed her paws down, trying to snap Ember's neck. But Cherrypaw was sacrificing... Which Songpaw was hissing in her mind about. ]
" Nuh Uh! I need you to get to a medicine cat! "
[ Songpaw knew that she'd disagree.. But tried to act as Willowheart did when she took the blow with her eye. ]
" HEY, CHERRYPAW'S HURT!!! "
[ Songpaw glanced at the snakes. ]
" WITH VENOM!!! "

[Ravenwing narrowed his eyes as Willowheart dashed away, and jogged off into another direction to see if any Seaclan cats needed help. His teeth bared into a fierce snarl as he watched a snake leave Cherrypaw then go for another apprentice's leg. Cherrypaw didn't look as though she could hold up any longer, it must be those adder's venom (I'm going to assume they're adders). He leapt across cats in the way like a gallant prince to the rescue, pinning down Ember's tail as his claws dug into the snake's scaly skin, just when Songpaw shook the snake off.]
"Now then, attacking young ladies now are we? Have you no honour?"
He asked sarcastically, his claws digging deeper and deeper into the snake's scaly skin, close to drawing blood.]

Winged Timberwolf B E A S T L Y We were promised shedded bloodin honor of those we love our missions twisted now fall astrayyet still chaos will come your wayBermuda and Tempest[Roaring in fury, Tempest whipped around as he heard Lustrepaw's voice. His jaws dripped with saliva as he lusted for revenge (LOLPUN), and the massive beast ran towards the sound. Suddenly, a sharp pain wrenched into his shoulder, and he screamed in pain, backing up a few steps in confusion.
He clawed at the thing, but he only stabbed it in deeper. Roaring in fury, he crashed around the bracen, searching furiously for the apprentice who'd done this.
Thunderflight slithered into the bushes, her eyes growing wide as she panted. Searching, she spotted Lustrepaw laying limp in the foilage. Hissing to herself, she slithered over to him and grabbed him by the scruff and dragged him to a safer spot, away from the badger.]
Licking his wounds, she hissed, "Think you can STAY here this time?", her eyes flashing. "I'll lead him away. You keep yourself hidden until this is over."
Hesitating, she licked the apprentice's head, a panicked purr rising in her throat and she murmured, "You did well, Lustrepaw. Because he's blinded, we just might defeat him."
[She turned and ran off at that. Barreling into the wolverine suddenly, she let out a battle yowl. The beast roared and spun, smashing the bracken in her wake. She sprang and dashed away, pausing every once in a while to yowl at him and lead him away from the bushes.
Infuriated, Tempest screamed and landed a blow that Thunderflight almost dodged. It contacted on her right hind leg and she tripped and rolled, landing roughly against a tree. She struggled to stand, but her pelt was snagged in the thorns. Panic rose in her throat as she struggled to break free. Tempest dashed towards her, his teeth glinting in the light as he charged. He barreled past cats trying to get in his way and let out a roar of victory. Flattening her ears, Thunderflight squeezed her eyes shut, bracing herself.
The last thing she thought of, strangely enough, was Whisperblade's face, and the crimson red scarf he wore fluttering in the wind.
Then there was a crashing sound, and an explosion of senses hit her-pain, noise, fear, yowls, and an unbearable pressure on top of her.
She opened her eyes to see that Tempest had collapsed on her. Silverstar stood in front of him, spitting with her pelt fluffed out. The ground was torn up in front of her, and Thunderflight assessed what had happened quickly. Her strong leader had barreled into the beast from the back, making him trip and roll on top of Thunderflight. Thunderflight began to squirm desperately. The beast had crushed the thorns (though the ones under her dug into her pelt painfully), and hadn't yet remembered she was under him. Before she could react, Bermuda jumped from the shadows and batted at Silverstar, rendering Thunderflight helpless as her only hope was pushed away.
Fortunately, Tempest hauled himself to his feet and she shot out from under him. He roared and chased after her again, his breath now coming out in ragged, painful snarls. ]Chaos near and farhowever old or young you areas long as a cat you live Clan true we come to slaughter you That's Timber's last post with Silverstar, Tempest, Bermuda and Thunderflight. I will be the lightning...  _____________________________________ [One of the nearby eagles heard Galestar call to it and then bounce around distractingly with his odd hup hup hup. Carefully the bird watched as he bounced about acrobatically with race and skill. He had no idea what he was saying in his funny voice but it was obvious that he was challenged to a fight. The large bird of pray screeched it's battle cry as it lunged forward, missing the agile Breezeclan leader on it's first strike. [The bodyguard glared at Cherrydrop from his standing position as he looked a the she cat pined under his large talons.] "Kits? How should i know, i have not fought any kittens. They simply die too easily. As for never going to kill you you think far to highly of yourself. You are mortal just like the rest of us, thus you must die like the rest of us. You are not above what damage i can do to your physical being. Stupid cat... your own ignorance is what will take your life far faster then i could ever hope to." This cat could be annoying. There was something different about her, a different scent underlying her fishy stink. Saphire vaguely understood what the she-cat was saying, and what she did comprehend, she didn't like]
"Oh you dare me, do you?" Saphire snarled, "Well, get ready then!"
[She raised her head, slowly moving back and forth, waiting for the right time to strike. Narrowing her eyes, Saphire darted to the right, then quickly switched to the left and lunged, snapping at Dragonfire's neck]
[Ember was about to turn to Cherrypaw and rip her head off, but suddenly found himsef being pushed back by a big black warrior. Hissing furiously, he raised his head, looking Ravenwing right in the eye]
"I've got plenty of honour!" he snapped.
[Eyes quickly raking over the warrior, Ember noticed he had many wounds, most of them looking to be snake bites, which caused the snake to grin. Hoping to add a few more injuries, Ember quickly dug his fangs into Ravenwing's right shoulder, feeling the blood ooze around his mouth] ____________________________________________________________________________________ Won't you come out and play? [Ice scanned the area with frantic eyes. Her mind went back to the cat whose name she still couldn't remember. She remembered practice fighting and sucking at it. Ice was no warrior. She barely even had any training that would help her fight, but Ice wanted to help. With a loud yowl, Ice called out,]
"Who needs help?! I'm a medicine cat!"
[Ice scanned the area for any signs of someone obviously needing her help, but she couldn't see through the chaos.]

With a grimace, he noticed that his right leg was going slightly numb and starting to swell - must be the venom from the snake just now, coupled with this one. Not good at all. He hissed as he pressed his shoulder against the ground with all his strength, hoping to squash the snake's head beneath him.]

(Smokepaw was breathless. Weaving and dodging past eagle legs, he nipped and tugged at their hard skin and soft feathers, feeling frustration rip through him as they ignored or kicked him away.
This plan isn't working, mousebrain! My mom needs me!

Smokepaw let out a yowl of pain as a sudden sharp thing bit into his rump from behind. An eagle had grabbed him while he argued with himself and flung him into the air, letting out a screech. Smokepaw's mind flew in circles, panic and horror mixing together and making his hair stand on end.
This was it. He was going to die.
Funny as it was, he was almost half-glad. I'm coming, Lostpaw! We'll finally be together again-!
A soft voice whispered to him, Not today, brother...
He suddenly heard the screech of victory from the eagle turn into a screech of pain. He was unable to see what was happening as he twisted in the air, and his natural cat instincts kicking him and flipping him over as he descended. He slammed into the ground on his feet, feeling his strength ebb away for a moment as he recoiled from the shock, but he stood straight on shaky legs, stumbling backwards a bit.
He discovered the reason for the change of tone. Embergaze had tackled the eagle and pinned it to the ground. The eagle was a smaller bird than the others, and Embergaze fought roughly with it, giving it scars it would remember. The eagle screamed in pain and flapped back, fleeing the battle with Embergaze and quickly diving amongst its friends for safety.
Embergaze stepped backwards, his pelt brushing his apprentice's as his eyes flashed.)
"Close call, Smokepaw," the gray warrior said quickly. "What're you doing in the throng?"
Smokepaw blinked and replied (almost disbelieving that this had been his reason in the first place), "Fighting."
"Shouldn't you be hiding?"
"Protecting the Clan."
(Embergaze's fiery eyes ripped away from the eagles and stared at Smokepaw, almost assessing him. Smokepaw flattened his ears, waiting for a harsh, disappointed scolding, but the grey warrior chuckled.)
"Alright then. Stick by me, we have a lot of fighting to do. Stay away from their beaks. Their talons are preoccupied with waking at the moment, but always be aware of what's above you-attack from someplace covered and retreat back to that covered place; don't expose yourself for too long, you're too small to hold your own. I'll cover you while you attack."
(Smokepaw could hardly believe his ears as his mentor coached him on fighting, but he felt a rush of happiness. Now he wasn't a useless kit! With the knowledge that Embergaze was helping him and covering his weak points, the apprentice felt stronger. He would avenge his brother's death and mother's torture! He nodded at Embergaze, grinning with a small glimmer of hope.
Now I can fight to see another living day-! To see all my friends and family, and all those beautiful colors! Like Serpentfang's GREEN eyes, and Galestar's BLUE eyes, and Mewkit's PINK fur! The apprentice was so overcome with emotion that he was frozen for a few moments, trembling in joy. He felt the sheer happiness and gratefulness tingle from his tail-tip to his farthest whisker. )
Eyeing the regrouping eagles that turned around to face them, Embergaze twitched his ears and prompted urgently, "Uh, Smokepaw, better get moving. If we survive this, I promise you I'll show you a rainbow someday, because you like colors so much. It's a big combination of colors in the sky."
(Smokepaw was stunned. Colors? In the sky? All at once? His heart leapt. What a promise! )
"Got it!" he exclaimed anxiously, turning and picking a sizable and prickly bush to use as his cover like Embergaze had mentioned.
(It was small enough for an apprentice to squeeze into and big enough to protect him from the eagles.
Said birds screeched and charged at him and his mentor as they dashed for the bush, Embergaze trailing behind him in case a bird caught up. The beautiful WHITE moon shined down on them, bathing them in a pretty SILVER glow. Smokepaw leapt for the bush, his paws outstretched with claws unsheathed as his heart beat to the tune of determination. Though he was not eager to fight anything, let alone a large swarm of birds with sharp talons, he had to survive! To live, to be happy, and to see a rainbow-! Even if he had to fight and hurt to get it...it was for the best!
He would not fail!)

When life gives you cherries...
[ Cherrydrop felt a surge of clueless-ness at the eagle's comeback. Mostly, she was surprised he came up with a LONG comeback. While she was puzzled, the eagle must've taken advantage of her thought-time, and felt claws digging into her skin. ]
Close... To my other wound!
[ Cherrydrop felt a little limp, but knocked the eagle's pressure off her fur, and raked her claws into his stomach. ]

[ Songpaw looked in panic at Cherrypaw. She was off the snake, but she needed to get help. With hope she hoped the cat next to her, Ravenwing, would protect her friend. But without asking him, she fled to the sound where she heard Ice, who she thought she remembered hearing when she was being fixed up. She finally faced Ice. ]
" Hey.. Medicine Cat!
Uh sorry, I don't know your name.. But Cherrypaw's hurt! She's over there! "
[ Songpaw poked her head and tail to the scene of the snakes.

" Hey Guys!! What happened to the foxes? Did we win? Did we win? "
[Songpaw noticed Foxfur- he looked upset. And Lavenderstar was looking drowsy.]
" Are you guys alright? Did I do something wrong? "

[Without out time to think of a swift retort, Ember just spat in Ravenwing's face, feeling his breath get knocked out of him as the dark warrior tried to crush him into the earth]
"Gerffoff meh!" (get off me!) Ember tried to snarl.
[The emerald snake felt all his strength flood out of him. This fight had been long and exhausting. Ember didn't know how much longer he could go on. Summoning every last ounce of strength he had, Ember wriggled until he had a good angle, and bit down on Ravenwing's side, quickly releasing him and going limp. Fang would be proud. Right? I tried my hardest. Please forgive me, my queen, for not being strong enough. Sighing softly, Ember closed his eyes and breathed his last breath, ready to go] ____________________________________________________________________________________ Won't you come out and play? Take no prisoners.

CHERRYPAW [Cherrypaw twitched slightly, and watched as Ravenwing killed Ember, making her feel better. But the pain was still there. The poison ran threw her, and it just made her feel worse. Looking up at Songpaw, and weakly opened her jaw to say something.]"Help.." She said weakly, which was barely louder then a whisper.]"Help, Songpaw! Go get Cloudfang, or some other medicine cat! Please, go go go!"
