Gen 5: The generation of overtly busy designs
Reshiram looks okay, but it'd be better if it had less doohickies attached (like, loose the thigh spikes+whatever the ******** is going on with its tail). Zekrom, however... No thanks. It doesn't really look like a Pokémon, you know? And no "Well you just need to get used to it" because I was here when Dialga+Palkia were revealed and I liked them.
also, is it just me or... does reshiram have a fluff d**k going on? Oh, and Spring 2011 is the NA launch. Japanese is in September
@.hack: You know who has an awesome voice? Skeith. Like, actual Skeith and not that bitchass Haseo look-a-like Skeith. He only speaks a single line in Vol.1, but his voice is so creepy and awesome.
And yeah, Yata's breakdown before Fidchell awoke was really dumb, all around. I mean, *he's fine and calm and collected and has a tight hold on his emotions throughout the games, but he randomly throws a hissy fit over Ovan being the ~chosen one~? That struck me as completely OOC, including Yata's "Waaah I wish The World/Aurora paid attention to me, too I'm tired of playing second fiddle to all these dumbasses who can't appreciate their blessing" bit*
@Bulba: It doesn't matter, because you got Ninetales. That's automatically the best result anyone ever could ever hope to ever get. Ever.

[Philosophy In A Teacup] lunar dreaming i like both of them idc what anyone says I AM SUPER PSYCHED lol yeah, i totally thought of palkia when i first saw zek. i keep seeing people all like FFFUUU THEY LOOK LIKE DIGIMON as if it's a bad thing?? (i enjoyed both it and pokemon ) but i'm really curious about what they might represent! (also i really hope zek is dark/dragon because it would be so bamf) i think reshi's my favorite of the two, if only because it already has some gorgeous fanart. i think it's maybe the tail that makes it look so busy though, i can't really figure out what's going on with it??? man both of their tails are really weird

They both look like things that belong in Digimon.
Resh is cute, Zek is interesting.
I'm wondering what the "pixie-like" (if any) legendaries will be in Gen5.

I like them better than Palkia and Dialga. Isn't Zek less busy than Palkia? Maybe not...

@"DIGIMON!!!": I don't think it's so much people hating on Digimon, they just don't want Digi with their Pokes. Digimon's style employs lots of geometric shapes and non-organic designs, whereas Pokémon is very animal/organic-based. But the 4th gen started moving away from this and more towards Digi's style, and from what we've seen so far of B/W, it seems like the 5th gen will move even farther from animal/organic to geometric/non-organic. And that's what people are scream -ing over.
I don't blame them, since I see it, too. There's a reason why I don't like most of the 4th gen pokes.

Haha, SO many people are saying "I LIKE THEM BETTER THAN PAL/DIA!" too. which i find funny, since i look at these two and think, "I remember getting the first look at Dialga and Palkia in 2005/2006 and i certainly reacted better to them than i am to these two neutral " dialga's Aliens-esque head certain took some getting used to, though lol

I'm not minding these new legendaries too much. Really, I think they're better looking than the new starters, at least. -_-; It's given me some hope that not all the 5th gen Pokemon are going to look terrible.
