Shinn stopped shivering and snuggled. "In my head... I hear bad things! When I'm near him, I stop hearing spirits... and hear mean things." He burrowed into the safety of those comforting him.
Shana and Azrael watched as Duriel convulsed violently, his mouth foaming for a few moments, but eventually he subsided and went limp. Not dead, but certainly not as strong as he was, the unhealthy aura seemed to dissipate as he began breathing slowly. Azrael sighed and put a big hand over his shoulder. He looked to Miluiel and smiled sadly. "He has been... gentled." He explained. "He will no longer hurt anyone... none gentled have the will to do it." He sat on the ground with a heavy sigh. "I didn't want you to see that. I didn't know that it was him that had done it. I was a fool to think he would return with his mind intact."
Duriel made a coughing sound from his position. But it was soon revealed to be sobbing. The weight of his crimes had caught up to him in the gentling. When he coughed, the pal of his curse was lifted, and in a bright flicker of midnight-blue light, Talithan was returned to normal and the collar around his neck fell to the ground. "We are free of his curse... that nightmare is over." He said with a pained but relieved sigh. He leaned back against a tree, his ageless elven face looked tired, and his blue hair was streaked with silver, showing his age and the stress that he had endured.

Miluiel hugged Azrael tightly. She could only guess the pain he was going though. Her body shook with fear and relief. "Azrael, dearest." She whispered. "Thank you so much, thank you for saving them!" She glanced over her shoulder, and with a chance at Azrael she stepped away from him. She figured her father was confused, she had to explain before mush else happened. Kneeling beside Talithan she wrapped her arms around him. "Father." She said softly. Tears fell from her eyes as she looked up at her father. She knew him so well, but he was a changed man, in the same way she was a changed woman.
Tanis approached the water. Carefully he introduced Helena to the cooler water. Soon he followed her in and sitting in the shallows he pulled her to him again. "Would you like to go under again, or would you like to just sit here?"

“It is alright Little Shinn. You are safe in this village. The fey will not let anyone save those I have personally allowed in the village enter. We will die first before harm comes to our children and the children of our allies.” Ursa smoothed out the fur on the top of his head before looking at him gently with her big blue eyes and it clearly looking like she was an aged fairy from the slight gray in her blonde hair. “Now then, shall we show you Anna’s room? There’s things in there you both can play with till your parents arrive.”
Morte would calm down as he was also relieved. He’d flutter over to Azrael looking at him carefully. “Please let me attend that wound my friend and also to let you know the kids are safe in the village. My wife has it so that no one save those we invite may enter the village. Once your wound is taken care of I’ll take you all to the village to retrieve young Shinn and for me to check on my little twinkle.”
Anna looked at Shinn as she lightly tugged on his arm to try and get him to come see her room where she had all her other toys that they could play with. She was sure he would like to do something while they waited for her father and his parents to arrive.
Helena thought a moment before kissing Tanis’ lips to extend the spell she cast earlier that allowed him breath beneath the water. She’d extend it to last a full day incase it was needed. “Yes, I’d like to go under again. The flowers showed peacefulness, maybe they will bring me peace to my warring emotions.”

Azrael was about to stand, but knew that she would want to talk with her father. At any rate, before he could stand, Shana seized him. "You get them inside. I'll wait here, while Mazzia and the Elders come. They will take care of Duriel." She told him.
Talithan embraced Miluiel happily, his arms tired but still firm and strong. "Oh, my beloved daughter! I am so happy to see that you are unharmed. My heart is so light to see you are safe." He told her, tears of his own leaving his eyes. "It felt like an eternity since I have seen you."
Azrael very cautiously came up to them. "I think we should move into my home and talk. Spring has come, but your clothing is tattered." He said to Talithan. "You can rest easier inside." He told them. Azrael looked up to Morte and smiled. "There are... something that I must discuss here. I ask that you forgive me fore my being forthright, but would you object to watching Shinn for a little while longer?" He asked. "Once I have finished discussing these issues with Miluiel's father, we will come to the lake and get him. I hope this will not be an issue for you." He said apologetically.
Talithan nodded to Azrael and stood, he could see that something was different to Miluiel. Something that had not been there when he had last seen her.

(sorry if this might mess things up but I'm moving Alunn to the other area with Logain and the rest. Again sorry if this causes trouble. I'm deleting the other posts of him)
Alunn walked into the town, his guitar in his hand. "Jack the Ripper, Zach the Rat. If you hear my song, your in my trap. Fight all you like, try and escape mine. Once my music plays, it's a matter of time." He sang softly to himself. He reached a more secluded area and began to play a military marching tune. "Foe one day, Friend the one after. Join in the fun, join my laughter" he sang out, his music drawing people in.

"Come on dad." Miluiel said to her father. "His home is not far away." Miluiel looked at Azrael, and very softly so her father didn't hear she said, "Dearest, before talking with my father would you, if you could, change into your human form. I am sure he is not in the best shape working with the fur." She stroked his arms tenderly. "And while we talk I can clean your wounds for you." She said in a hopeful tone.
Tanis nodded, and with Helena's spell he was ready to go under again. "Alright dear, please lead the way."

“Ursa has a handle of the situation in the village, but she has instructed me to remain here till I can guide you all to the village. So, I’m to remain under my own wife’s orders.” Morte chuckled a little at being ordered by his own wife for a change.
“It seems little Shinn, from what I get from my husband back in your village. You get to play with Anna here for a small time. Do you object to this? You get to play here in our village but please try not to go outside this house cause the water is deep and I’m afraid of what might happen to you if you fell in.”
Anna still tried to nudge Shinn, sick as she was to her room following her mother nodding in approval.
Helena would nod as she moved through the shallows towards the deeper part of the lake. She’d swim out a ways with her hand latched to Tanis’ before finally she would finally just stop kicking in the water to sink beneath it and turn her body in a way that she’d be beneath the surface and waited this way for Tanis to join her so that they could begin their descent together.

Celeron hugged Shera fully and kissed her gently savoring the taste of her lips for a few minutes.
"I will be back soon after I take care of this fiend. Be safe both of you." he said as there lips parted. Celeron then began to move toward the door and Jin began to follow after him.
"Its been a pleasure Miss Shera and little one." Jin said saluting them halfheartedly as he left the room.

Shera would touch her lips as she watched Celeron leaving with Jin. She’d protect Kayla with her life if it was the last thing she did. She made a promise as she looked at Kayla now. “Would you like to take a bath?” These were her words to Kayla as she looked at her. Shera was still trying to regain her composure from after the electrifying kiss shared between her and Celeron.

Kayla nodded shyly after she was sure neither man was here. She was more comfortable with Shera then with Celeron and a lot more then Jin. In a way she has become drawn to Shera trying to draw upon the strength she had.
"Can we take one together?" she asked timidly. She didn't want to be alone even in the bath if she could avoid it.

Shinn was starting to feel better and shook his head. "No that's fine. This is a pretty place!" Shinn said with a giggle, going in the direction that Anna was nudging him in.
Azrael nodded. "As you wish it, my dear." He said, turned into his human form, adorned in the furred robe from the day before. He led them to the house, keeping pace for Miluiel, and held the flap open for them.
Talithan nodded gratefully to Azrael and went into the house. The house was crude, but sturdy, and not especially large, but designed to hold a surprisingly large amount of people comfortably. Comfortably to them at least. He looked and saw no chairs in the house, and determined to sit down by the fire, crosslegged, though mustering up a dignified expression, that made it seem he was sitting on his throne.

Miluiel blushed, embarrassed by how her father acted. She walked past the room and into the supply room where she found some bandages, and items she could use to clean Azrael's wounds. She returned with everything in a little bucket. She filled a smaller bucket with water and waited for Azrael to sit. "Thank you dearest." She said softly, as she rubbed his arm affectionately. "I am sorry he acts this way, but I understand. I am sure he is trying to keep what dignity your brother has not taken from him."
Miluiel looked at her father, "Father please, I know you have been hurt, but please don't act like this." She implored. "Azrael is the alpha, king, here. Please show him respect." Miluiel had to admit she was scared. She prayed her father would take it alright. Although she tried to play it calm Miluiel was obviously very tense.
Tanis easily caught up to Helena. He smiled at her, though that may have made him backed by the light of day. He wanted to ask her how she felt, but under water he would rather not open his mouth. Reaching out to Helena he accepted her hand. With a not he silently told her, 'Let's go.'

“If you wish it.” Shera would look to see that their room indeed did have a place for them to take a bath as she guided Kayla to it. “Will this do?” Her words were soft as she looked at Kayla. She’d turn the water on for Kayla and her to bathe.
Anna showed Shinn her room as she had to dizzily sit down because of how sick she had become due to Duriel’s influence. She had never sensed such a harmful spirit before. “Play with this?” She’d show a toy that looked like it might be a game that could be played between two people. A type of board game.
Ursa just watched in silence with a smile on her and an even bigger grin when she realized that Tanis and Helena were going to see he flowers at the bottom of the lake.
Helena would take his hand and nod as she began her descent in the water leading Tanis to the flowers. Once there however she’d move herself to being in his arms and hugging him gently. Her warring emotions hadn’t calmed yet, but she felt a bit better being in this place with Tanis.

"Okay!" Shinn said, examining it. "How do you play?" He asked curiously sitting on the floor.
Talithan's eyes flicked to Azrael and examined him, now in his human form. "All right then. Since this is their territory, It would do no good to be on bad terms. Especially given the circumstances of why I am here/" He said softening his look a bit, but there was no denying that Talithan still kept that look of nobility on his face, though that was not intentional, simply how he was after so many years. Something in his eyes showed that he was very curious over why they were so affectionate, having missed the explanation
Azrael gulped and sat down, letting Miluiel tend to the wound. His eyes met Talithan's gaze and knew that he would have to say something. "I know that this will seem trite... but I am sorry for what happened with my brother, Duriel." Azrael said, he gave Miluiel a look to calm her, he could sense her tension over the whole matter. Azrael was not exactly prepared either, but he had to make do with what he had. "I know that I cannot undo the mental damage that this has caused, but I would do all I could to help you rebuild. To give you some reparation for what has happened."
Narrowing his eyes he nodded to Azrael. "You would take responsibility for the actions of that brute?" He said. "You would be willing to give any reparation? Even resign your people to what mine have experienced?" He asked darkly. Suddenly he realized that what he had said was unfair, and shook his head. "I must apologize. I did not mean what I said... my bitterness overcame my judgment." He repented. "The only one who I should demand anything from is the one that caused this. You were willing to fight with your brother, someone you had loved, in order to protect your ideals and your people. I can see that you are a just man." Talithan looked into the fire for a moment, thinking about some of the things Duriel had accused previous generations of elves of doing, and had to come to terms with the truth that he regretted to admit were in them. "Though we both seem to agree that he was unreasonable, he does have some righteousness to his fury..." He said, reluctant to want to admit to it.

Miluiel nodded. She carefully wrapped up Azrael's shoulder. She did so with much care, and when Azrael looked at her she wanted to kiss him, but resisted. She squeezed his shoulder as if saying, thank you. "Father, you are right to think of Azrael as a gentleman. He is a wonderful man, and I really hope that you get to know him and like him father." The elf said quickly despite herself. She tied off the last cloth and again squeezed his shoulders. "May I get either of you anything to drink?" She asked.
Tanis followed Helena into the water, and to the bottom of the lake. Tanis wasn't concentrating so much on the flowers, but he was more concerned for Helena.
