Popo finished watering the flowers and ended her humming. She stopped for a moment to look around and admire the beauty. The garden was so lovely. Popo loved every little bit of it. She hoped one day to be as beautiful.
Popo then walked back into the Okiya leaving the beautiful garden behind for now. She put away the watering pail and wandered the Okiya...

Reijin nodded. "Thank you," she said, smiling. "Please, if you have no further chores this evening, join us." She picked up a plate of onigiri and led the way to the tearoom.
"Gomen nasai," she said, managing a bow while balancing her tray. "I am sorry to keep you waiting. Here, please. I hope you will enjoy them." With that, she set the tray on a low table and kneeled on a cushion beside Luna.

"Popo-chan!" Iyasu called out, "You need to get ready for your debute. Go on a head upstairs and put on your make - up, I shall be up in few minutes with your kimono, I have already set out for you an under robe to match." The geisha headed outside to the kimono storage, with the combs and pins still in her hand. The door was open already when Iy-chan emerged into the building, where Okaa-san stood before her.
"Okaa-san!" She said slightly startled, "I did not know you were in here! I was looking for you earlier!" The geisha laughed, "If you are not too busy, may I ask three things of you?"
Her hazel eyes were sincere and filled with a hidden excitement. She truly wanted to ask Okaa-san one very important question, really for her blessing.

Popo went upstairs as Iyasu told her to and began putting on her makeup. It was still pretty difficult for her, but she tried her hardest. And she didn't do that bad. There were a few goofs in her job, but they weren't terribly noticeable. Popo then waited for her onee-san to come..

She nodded her head and stepped forward, "Okaa-san, since Yokome is now a geisha . . . I was wondering if I may have your blessing to take on another young sister, Luna." Iyasu looked to Mother with a soft smile. She hoped that she would give her blessing for this apprenticeship.

Luna smiled sweetly at Reijin. "It looks wonderful! Worth the waitindeed." Looking ovber she smiled at the other girl. "Care to join us?" Her expression was welcoming as she poured the tea like how she'd learned in her class. No mistakes. Day after day of practice had paid off afterall.

Mishi looked at Luna thinking that she was asking her to be polite she smiled and said,"Yes, thank you that is very kind of you." Looking around for a spot to sit she started to walk around the table for a spot that looked empty and sat down without saying another word.((post:42))

Yokome nodded to the girl that had joined them. She took a sip of her tea, set it down on the table again very gently and put her hand in her lap. She remained silent.

Michi bowed slightly not knowing the status of the woman who just nodded to her and smiled warmly,"Hello I'm Michi." thenlooked down again queitly saying,"It's a great pleasure to meet you."((post:43))

Reijin quietly sipped her tea. She had very little experience with geisha, and Yokome's silence made her uncomfortable. Had they somehow offended her? Holding her cup, she cleared her throat softly and spoke. "Michi-san, this is Yokome-sama. She has just been promoted to the rank of geisha." Gesturing to Yokome, she bowed her head slightly in respect. "I believe she is deserving of another round of congratulations in recognition of her hard work. Congratulations, Yokome-sama."

Mishi looked at Reijin smileing lightly," Oh well that's good to know." She turned to look at the geisha who was called Yokome and bowed,"Congradulations Yokome, I'm sure you are very proud of your newly aquired rank." then Mishi looked down at the table again.((post:44))

"Thank you Mishi-chan and Reijin-chan." Yokome said, nodding again to the ladies in the room. Yokome blushed a little as she had never recieved so much attention in the okiya before. "It is very nice to meet you, Mishi-chan." Although she was still unsure of the rank of Mishi.

Luna smiled and remained quiet enjoying the company for a change. It reminded her of when she was little and her mother always brought friends for tea. Her goal though above all now was to help Reijin find an older sister. Luna seemed to come back to reality and sipped her tea smiling happily.
