He slashed his right hand towards the creature and light in the form of Lightning (or was it thunder...Oo) struck the beast. He heard kaen and that alone made him keep fighting, "Kaen please move away! Hide!!"

((okay!!))
At the top of the stairs, Aken saw the larger being manifest and was about to warn Asphiel when she caught metallic signature. "No way....." she whispered, then ran down the stairs, leaping towards the being. She reached her hands out to him, her powers already synching with his signature. "Torret!!" she yelled as she grabbed his arm, freezing the metal inside him and bending it to her will.

((pretty much now...haha I won!!! lol...though roleplaying Asphiel I feel stiff...Oo))
For some reason he stopped when he heard the scream, thinking he heard some one else. He lowered his energy in the worst time, not being able to stop the attack, hitting him right straiht in his chest, throwing him back.
((wait...DARN this "I have to think like my rpc" thing!!! Argh! *hits head on desk*))

gundamwarrior13 *The dark energy in his body resisted Kaen's control of the metal, but not for long. He was fighting on three fronts and couldnt maintain them all like this. As his body locked up from the metal laced throughout the whole of it he absorbed himself into the shadows, removing himself from the material world and out of Kaen's grasp.* "Demon!" *The voice resounds.* "Why do you protect one of the light, betrayer." "Because I was smart enough not to sell my soul to the darkness!" she screamed at the voice as she collapsed to the ground from the strain of using her powers so. Her breathing was heavy as she glared at the shadows, adrenaline still pumping through her body and her hands throbbing from the synching.

Including the abomination chil...." *His words were cut short in a tortured howl of pain as his barrier around Sapphire cracked and a flood of light washed over the room. The sound of a chorus of angels filled the inn, drowning out his cries of pain as the shadows disappeared entirely, unable to stand against the onslaught. The last of the shadows to remain imbedded on the wall was a familiar shape. For an instant after the rest of the shadows left, the shadow of Torret's human self showed, then disapeared as well.*

Asphiel got up and seeing Kaen he ran towards her, "Kaen!!" he stopped when he saw the light. He couldn't see Kaen anymore, actually he felt like if he was leaving and soon turned to light himself and disappeared.

KAen sat on the floor, tears streaming down her face from frustration and base fear. SHe looked up as Asphiel called her name and reached a hand towards him as he disappeared also. "Damn it!!" she screamed, slamming her hand onto the floor and yelped as something in it popped.
She cradled her hand against her chest, drawing her knees to her chest as she continued crying. "Kai...I need you...I need you so much..." she whispered as the adrenaline finally dispersed and she fell asleep from exhaustion.
((and yes, i did just have kaen break her hand on the floor....))
((bye!! i need to wander off and finish my chores and make dinner....see ya))
