"If I may ask, what makes you so certain that this will happen now? I haven't read any scrolls about it." He ruffled his wings, trying to make them look better after a battle where demons pulled on them to throw him down.

PhoenixFirecat "What are you talking about?" Kaen turned to Sara, one ear tilted down. "What's happening in a few months?" She sat down at the bar a few seats from Asphiel, still wanting to keep an eye on him just in case. She paused and looked up the stairs. "Was Akeno with you?" she asked quietly, still looking upstairs. "Well this is quite nice talk, but I think I need to go and train so I can prepare for this." Sapphire says opening the door and heading outside, once outside se sees the black shadows and steps back inside. "Folks we have a problem."

*The shadows crossed the clearing to the base of the building, encircling the whole of it once before creeping up the walls. As they crawl up the windows the light of the sun from outside starts to dissapear within, but she shadows dont seem to be penetrating inside quite yet.*

Kaen looked over at Sapphire and slid off the stool. "What kind of problem?" she asked, her hackles already rising from the tone of Sapphire's voice. She put herself between the door and Asphiel, not certain what was outside.

PhoenixFirecat Kaen looked over at Sapphire and slid off the stool. "What kind of problem?" she asked, her hackles already rising from the tone of Sapphire's voice. She put herself between the door and Asphiel, not certain what was outside. "That!" Sapphire says pointing at the windows. "It seems familair but I can't place it and I don't like shadows like that. They remind me too much of the circus."

*As the shadows covered the windows entirely and the room plunged mostly into darkness, the figure of a young boy rises out of the floor, laying on the ground in pain.* "Please help me. Dont let it..." *The figure disapears in a whisp of shadows across the floor, the last words cut off, but seeming to echo in the room.*

He looked up and thought for a short while, "One of the rooms upstairs is filled with books of some sorts. He collected many books. Maybe those can help you." he didn't know if he should tell him, but it's not like someone uses them.

He looked back at what was happening in shock. His eyes went back to normal and he moved towards kaen, "What was that?"

Kaen gasped at the illusion, her demon eyes allowing her to see everything clearly. "What the hell?!" she growled as darkness swallowed the Muffin. "I have no idea...." she said over her shoulder to Asphiel as she walked to where the "boy" had been and looked at the floor, both ears flat against her skull. "I've never seen a demon that could do th--...." She froze, hoping to Inari that it was not a light sucker.

Sapphire as soon as she hears the noise she runs to it, but gets there just as the boy dissappears. She spits on the floor. "Why is it taunting us?" Sapphire asks looking towards the darkness.
"I would need time to study them, but maybe they will be of some use to help me understand this folly. Let me see them." Sara says in a voice very commanding not like the mellow tones she's used before.

Asphiel ignored the lady and went to kaen and grabbed her hand, gently pushing her back, "Stay away. You don't know what's that..." Yule came out and looked surprise at what was happening, "Yule, take this lady here to kai's room, please."
She bowed and pointed up as she walked to the stairs, "This way ma'am."
