you know you're a band geek when you name your instrument.
when you start tapping your foot in the middle of class to the marching show music in your head.
when you are driving down the road with your friends, and all of a sudden you say "this song is in 6/8 time!" , and your friends look at you like you are insane.

...you wear you're early fall uniform(for my school it consist of a red polo and kahki(sp?) shorts) around town just for the heck of it...
...you find yourself wearing your marching shoes everywhere...
...you take anti-depressants because your *insert instrument here* broke...

u no ur a band geek when ur drummers can play a piece better than the directors of that section
u no ur a band geek when ur band actually has a band ninjas(true story)
u no ur a band geek when ur band ninja kick the BDs a** at mind games for fun
u no ur a band geek when the color starts teaching the band how to twirl a flag b/c after they saw what u did thought it looked cool (true story)
u no ur a band geek when u can march all the shows of ur career without thinking about it

ya'll know when your a band geek you don't watch the movie, and listen the background music. And then, you end up yelling out what the instruments being used are. smile
