"Well, that is noble. Stupid, but noble," she said simply giving a small shrug. This was one of those times where she could tell there was no way she was going to change his mind. If he wanted to get himself killed, then Anna was not going to get involved. She was just as passionate a hunter as he was, but she knew she was no use dead.

"Annalaise," she said with a smile, taking his hand and giving it a firm handshake, stronger than one would think capable from a girl her size. Still, she flashed him a brilliant smile before withdrawing her hand and leaning back in her chair.
"It's nice to meet you."

GHOST put his left hand up to his temple as a wave of pain crossed his forehead. mental images of anna's memories, and thoughts flashed in GHOST's mind. he began to breathe heavily. he lowered his hand, slowed his breathing, and altogether regained his composer. "wow that kills every time." he said allowed 'and yet i still use it' he thought. he took out a bottle of tylenoll extra strength and took one. he put it back inside his jacket, then looked at anna and said "you lost your parents to eh."

Where she had been smiling before, when her parents were mentioned, the smile melted off of her face, eyes flashing at him.
"How did yo-," she started, narrowing her eyes a bit at him as she leaned forwards, her voice once more dropping to a whisper.
"Listen, you don't know anything about my parents. My mother was never found...she was taken from me, and I am going to find out what happened to her. I don't know how you know that, but I am giving you this one warning. Stay out of my past." When she finished speaking, she sat back once more, tearing her eyes from him and turning them to the floor as she thought about her parents. She had accepted what had happened long ago, but this was the first time in a long time she had actually thought about it. The hurt never really goes away, she supposed.

"i'm sorry i never meant to do any harm. both my parents were brutaly murdered by a small pack of lycans. it's hounstly the only reason i'm here. to find and destroy them is really the only thing i have left that has meaning. oh and don't take it personally, me using ...whatever this ability is on you." GHOST looked down at the floor and then back to anna "i truly do apologize." he pulled his notebook out from his jacket and began looking over his notes

Hokaru Moneru Tokeru arrived in the room, peeved at the fact that someone decided to take command over him, but relieved as well. He was not a hunter, he was a shadowstalker, and it was his job to hunt or assimilate all of the other races. He took a chair and sat down, waiting for others to arrive. {[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} 
Eden walked into the vicinity that every hunter seemed to be congregating to and decided to take a look around to see who all was there. Naturally she was delighted to see that Tokeru was there and she was instantly being drawn to him with a fanged smile upon her face. She stood behind the chair he was sitting on and gave him a gentle hug around the neck, making sure it was extremely gentle since her strength could be rather eratic. "Hey there, Angel. I see you beat me here. So who's this Janine person anyhow? She must be pretty important if she's from the Vatican and to think, she's a knight for them! That'd be a postition of utmost honour, I mean to be a knight of the Vatican is one thing but to lead all of the knights of the Vatican is just a whole other thing. That'd be pretty sweet to be here I have to say." Edith was actually quite relieved to see that knights from the Vatican had come hopefully to fill the empty postitions that the absent hunters had left behind. They would be pretty well off if they had trained knights from the Vatican on their side of this entire mess since the scene at the docks.
Meredith smiled, glad to finally be talking to her love and not being off somewhere else because she'd been ordered to or because someone else was having trouble elsewhere. As much as she appreciated new hunters, sometimes they just got downright on her nerves because it was often her who answered their calls for help. "So now that you see I'm perfectly fine and that nothing happened to me, you can relax. You're so tense." She smiled yet again and gave the nerves near his shoulders a gentle squeeze to physically tell him to stop being so tense. 'What's got you so miffed? You angry that the Vatican is just rushing in here and booting you out of the authorative spotlight? I never took you for someone who enjoyed being in the lime light.' A small giggle emerged from the large huntress but a moment later it was gone again as she gave her Angel a small kiss on the cheek. 'I wonder how good these knights are at eliminating "other worldly" forces of "evilness".' Yet again another giggle emerged from her but she wasn't all that loud so it wasn't likely that anyone else heard her giggles.

Twi looked up from his book, a bit shocked at all of the people there. When he is so absorbed on what he's reading, he tends to ignore his surroundings. He looked over at Amnity and of course, she was sleeping, her hat covering her face and her arms were crossed.
"Amnity, hey! Wake up..." Twi whispered, shaking her a little.

Amnity woke up immediately, quickly fixing her hat back to it's intended position. She too looked around, seeing a group of hunters sitting in the meeting room.
"Did the meeting start yet? How long was I asleep?" she asked Twi followed by a yawn and a stretch.

"No, it didn't, but it probably will soon. And I'm not sure how long you slept." he replied casually. "But I feel there's going to be a big change after this meeting Am, and I'm not sure if it's for better or for worse." he whispered, hoping no one else heard.

Amnity didn't reply, thinking about what he had said. She held her head up high and sat up in the chair. This was no time to think of the worst case scenarios, all they can really do now is wait and pray.

Tokeru smiled as his love came into the room, and pulled her into a chair beside him.
He gave her a kiss on the lips, and held her for a moment. I dont know who the hell they are, but to tell you the truth, I'm kinda glad they're here. It'll give me a reason to stop caring about the other hunters. And I wont need to worry about protecting them. I can just focus on killing things.
He held her hand, and moved the ring he had given her around her finger. I need to get you a real engagement ring.

Eden allowed Tokeru to place and sink her into a chair beside his own and surveyed the rest of the room for a moment. Her survey did not last long as Tokeru decided to pull her into a kiss as well as an embrace. She loved Tokeru and she loved being in his arms for a number of reasons. She loved that he was warm and the heat managed to last for a moment against her white stone-like skin that was constantly cold. That was one of the reasons that he made her feel human but the more important reason was that he was kind to her and treated her like someone who wasn't crazy and bloodthirsty. He wasn't afraid of her and he wasn't an a** hole to her either. She never really had understood why her and Tokeru had bonded like that since he just seemed to get along with no one but apparently she had been different to him somehow. Either way she didn't care and she was just glad that she was with him now. She planned to stick to him like glue in the sense of being his forever though she would have to go off and fulfill hunter obligations so she couldn't be attached to him by the hip or anything. However, she did wish that it was easier to spend time with him though at the moment that didn't seem like it was going to happen with the chaos in New York.
'Of course you should be glad that they're here! They're Knights from the Vatican, they're going to be so kick-a**! I'm gonna have to get some training from them and then I'll be absolutely bitchin' in a fight up against other immortals! This friggin' rules, thank-you God! Oh man, I'm just so pumped for this meeting, it's going to be ten times more exciting than learning about a Soul Calibur character that might be real. And yes, I suppose that does mean that less obligations are on you to look after the hunters if the Knights are taking over for a bit. They're gonna lead us to a guaranteed victory without a doubt!' Eden just kept going on and on about the knights and how amazing she imagined they would be, she was completely ecstatic to know that they were here and from the Vatican of all places. She was just like a small child at Christmas or a drug addict that'd found someone else's stockpile of drugs. 'Do you think she's going to be angry that some hunters aren't mortals? I'm kind of worried that she's not going to want to train me because of a prejudice against vampires and other immortals.'
Meredith smiled when she felt her Angel take hold of her hand to fiddle with her ring and to afterwards hold it. She intertwined her fingers with his and continued to grin like an idiot since she was just happy to be with him for a few moments while the chaos seemed to be a little less intense. The fact that the knights were here calmed her down a great deal as well and she was looking forward to seeing them in action and having them on her side. She was also pumped to know that there would probably be way less hunters asking someone for assistance on the HIN, which meant that she would be able to hunt as well. 'No you don't, this one's absolutely fine. In fact it's not fine at all, it's Goddamned perfect so no you may not get me another ring. This one's the only ring I need and I won't accept another one if you try to get me another one.' With that Edith stuck her tongue out at Tokeru and looked around to see who all had arrived to the meeting area to listen to the meeting. She was wanting it to start since she was very excited to hear what the lead knight of the knights of the Vatican had to say to the hunters of New York.

GHOST looked up from his notebook. "does anyone know when this meeting was suppose to start? or what it was about in the first place?" GHOST asked to anyone who was listening or had an answer
