As the remaining azerians took to the skies to return to the south and their city Issildia stepped back from Zeno, "Do not allow Reinsen to control your purpose, to often it is the only freedom that we are truly granted. Should we meet again I hope it will be on better terms...for your sake." At that moment her own shadow rose up to consume her form before instantly dissipating leaving nothing it its wake. Given the current situation, retreat was the only option.
Some moments later Issildia stepped out of the shadow cast by the battered eastern walls of Faltora.
It was as if history had turned backwards and the tragedy of Anier was transpiring once again, some much loss and so little to show for it. She watched in silence as the army that had wrought this destruction departed back to the east. Issildia knew well enough that the repercussions of this event would affect many, especially those that had felt the bitter sting of betrayal. The southern Larovian army had indeed been destroyed, but there was not doubt in her mind that her father would call upon the northern forces to repay the traitor in kind...

Sin sighed as he continued to wait for some time. Without any sight or sund of movement he sat cross legged and tought about his situation for a moment.
'if I send out a signal Issilida will most likely see it, but then again so will everyone else left in the city... if I don't send out a signal then there's absolutely no chance I'd probly see her again... damn this is annoying... I guess if she knows the general area that I'm at she might be able to find me after I change location...'
Nodding with his decision he brought his hands together and concentrated. As he pulled them apart a small spark was glowing inbetween his fingers and with a flick of his wrist he sent the spark shooting up into the air. With a small pop it exploded in a second long spark and then fizzled out.
"well Issildia its your turn now..."
* * *
Grevious looked back from where he was following the troops to see a man limping and then collapse on the ground. Soon after he heard him call out for aid as he lay there. Walking over to the wounded man one of grevious's hands slowly encased itself in ice as he approached. Laying the hand down on the ground in front of the mans face the ice on it slowly grew off his hand and began to creep fowards towards the stranger.
"tell me now before I decide to kill you... which side do you fight for?"
((well since Sin is on a cliff above the forest and everyone else is still getting out of the city I assume that it's grevious that your talking about... mainly becouse I never really specified where he was....))

A subtle chill threaded itself through the air as darkness twined upwards from the ground before pulling away leaving Issildia standing silently behind Sin. It was becoming apparent that her abilities granted by her father's side was becoming more prominent. "Do you really intend to giving away your location to both friend and foe alike..." Issildia remarked from behind him, no trace of emotion was evident in her voice.

"I fought for the lost army of Anier, I was fighting to defend the city." Streak replied. His voice was getting slightly horse. He really hoped that this was the answer that would ave his life.

"wrong awnser..."
With that Grevious lifted the stranger up and held him off the ground with his ice coverd hand. The part he grabbed onto felt like it was coverd in frost but otherwise the ice remained on Grevious's hand.
"Now your my lovely little prisoner of war... I'll let Reinsen figure out what to do with you..."
Feeling the air around him he walked though part of the forest for a few mininutes until he came upon a small stream. Tossing the man near the stream he leanded agenst a tree and waited for him to drink a little water.
"so what is your name?"
((I hope you don't mind the lifting up and carrying))

~Within the confines of the Larovian capital, Reinsen Nevar finds himself overcome with both anger and frustration as the news of Faltora's fall finally reaches his palace. The very general that he had sent to follow Akurei had returned, and he himself was injured in the battle as well. His fury grew more as the general gave his report. Once it ended, Reinsen only sat in this throne and placed a hand on his chin, while the other caressed the hilt of his blade.~
So, Akurei has indeed betrayed me. He has slaughtered my forces. He has completely destroyed Faltora, and even worse. He stole the crystals that were given to me by the Ryera Clan. This is a disturbing twist of events.
General: He was aided by his own personal bodyguards. One of which killed Lizzera Matier.
So that woman has finally left his world. And what of Nicholas Remos?
Dead.
I see. You have a new objective. I want you to go to Trenius Sekia, and bring me Akurei's head. I don't care how many soldiers you have to take with you. do not rest until his soul joins that of Matier and Remos. Understood?
My clan is more than capabvle of handling such a mission ourselves. Your soldiers will not be of any use to us.
Just get it done. Do not return until he has passed from this world.
Very well.
~With that, the general's body disbursed into a bolt of lightning and took toward the skies. Reinsen was more than furious. Signaling to another of his soldiers, she walked toward him and kneeled.~
Adenia. Send word to the Northern battalion to prepare to move on my command.
Adenia. Yes, lord.
After that I want you to take your DRAGON and go to Faltora. I want those ruins searched for any of those crystals. And If you happen to see any of those Ryera's bring them to me.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
DO NOT QUESTION ME WOMAN!! JUST GO!!!
~With that the woman made her way out of th chamber, all the while grumbling to herself. She did not like the idea of bringing anything to this man, but at the same time she knew she had no choice.~

((Not at all, Streak's too weak to fight back.)) Streak felt a sharp pain all across his body as he hit the rocks by the spring. Streak began to drink before he replied. He was really thirsty, but that wasn't the only reason he was drinking. He was trying to come up with a plan. For now, he decided, he'd better not use his real name, as it might recognised from when he and his father fought for Lavoria. If he were to be classed as a deserter of Lavoria's army, he would certainly be killed. At least this way he would be prisoner and had a chance of escape.
After Streak finished drinking, he turned to Grevious and spoke. "My name is Demitri Zarian." Streak lied. It wasn't an obvious lie as he was used to it by now. In the Anier army he had to tell the family of the dead that their soldier had died painlessly with pride, when they had been cowards and died slowly from the effect of poison, or a shallow, yet fatal, stab wound. He knew what he was doing when he lied. "Who, might I ask, are you?" Streak asked.

~Within the village of Ala'ana, the Yakayu continued to feast upon the lifeless coprses of the villagers. The stench of blood and death filled the air as Azrielle took notice of another appproaching the village. This was an aura that he was familiar with, but at the same time, he knew not to underestimate this foe. Glaring into the distance, the aura that he sensed had finally come into sight.~
So, he has finally shown himself. Niobe, take the woman and go to Baledon Sukiyo. I will meet you there in three days. And be sure to leave no survivors.
~Without waiting for a reply, Azrielle leapt out of the window, and spread his wings, which he had not yet learned to hide, and took to the skies. He flapped his wings slowly as he approached the being within the village. The Yakayu had already picked up his scent and attempted to make a meal out of him, but to their surprise, this man was far more powerful than they expected. As the first of them approached his position, he raised his knee, slamming it hard against its head shatterring the left side of his skull. It fell to the ground, and he looked up at the others who did not seem intimidated by this gesture in the least. It was then that he reached behind himself, planing his hand on the hilt of a rather large blade, one which was forged with the blood of the Daharaka, the Blood Dragon.
He suddenly charged out at his opponents, once he reached the first of them, he ducked under its arm as it streched to an incredible length, to attack him. In a blur of motion, he drew his blade and severed the arm of the creature from its body. As it screamed out in pain, he moved in and swung his blade at its waist, sending its torso hurling across the village. He then leapt into the air, avoiding the next of the attackers, and lanuched his blade back down to the earth. Once it made contact with the blood-stained soil, it released what seemed to be a malestrom of red lightning across the ground, using the blood as its medium as it sent the remaining Yakayu hurling into the air above. Once he landed, he sheathed his blade, and calmly walked towards the center of the village as the remains of the Yakayu drifted back down to the earth.~

"We should leave the area as quickly as possible." Issildia uttered in a hushed voice to Sin. "The beasts set loose within the city will soon seek out the remaining survivors, it would be best if we departed before that happens..." she uttered stoically while sheathing her blade.
"With any amount of luck Archer will survive as well, but there is little more that we can do, we must move on if we intend to survive."

Watching Azrielle take off, Niobe smiled to herself -- a cold, loveless smile.
"With pleasure, my lord."
She turned slowly towards the bed, she wanted to savor this turn of events. Making long intimidating strides, Niobe reached the head of the bed and quickly stretched out an arm to grab Sylph by the hair. She grasped the girl tightly so that she could turn Sylph's face towards her. The smile still on her face, Niobe looked at the girl the way a cat looks at a mouse.
"Poor, poor little changeling."
She cooed.
"Your guardian has left you. And in the most perilous of hands, no less."
With a quick movement of her elbow, Niobe threw the girl backwards onto the bed. Her smile vanished and she was obviously repulsed.
"But these hands will have to be your salvation for now. Until Lord Azrielle achieves his goal. Make no mistake -- with the slightest hint of permission from him, I will kill you!"
Niobe scowled and put her back to Sylph, calling to the guards at the doorway.
"You there. Get me a chained leash with a collar. And a map. Run as if your life depends on it."
She glared.
"....because it does."

((whoops sorry missed it I guess, my bad sweatdrop )) Grevious looked at the man before him, laying down in front of the stream and still relatively weak, and shook his head. "My name isn't importent, like the obvious false name you just gave me... but I don't care right now seeing as in a little while you'll have to deal with whatever Reinsen Nevar uses to get liars to tell the truth... I was just getting something to call you by..." With that Grevious walked over and lifted Streak up, and pushed him in the direction they were going. "We're headed to Reinsen's nothern forces... I won't mistreat you in any way but I won't slow myself becouse of you... no get moveing." * * * Sin jumped as Issildia appared behind him suddenly. Turning around he breathed a sigh of relif and scratched his head. "I know, I know... but it was the only way I could think of to let you know where I am... besides I was planning on actully moveing to a diffrent location and hopeing you'd find me once you got close enought.... but where can we go now? I mean Reinsen's forces are decimated, the city has fallen... unless you know of a place to lay low and start planning our next move we are just going to be wandering for the most part..." He sighed and looked back at the city, the smoke still riseing from the fires and the sounds of screams still lingering in the air, frowning Sin looked away at the ground. "I tried so hard too...." He fell to his knees on the ground and coverd his eyes. "... I feel so useless right now... all our efforts were just pushed aside and it didn't make a diffrence what so ever..."

Zeno's world was shocked back into focus the moment he was slowly being circled by a group of grotesque beasts..."Well.. this wasn't what I wanted to happen." As the first struck at him, Zeno whipped out a star and burried in its chest, grabbing the beasts foreleg he swung him around and used the force created upon release to swing himself into the air. Once in the air, he was safe from their attack.. now he had to worry about finding Grevious and hopefully.. hopefully he could meet Issildia again.. and she could help him find Kara. For the moment, he needed to get out of there.. he saw some rather unfriendly flying beasts taking notice of him, so he quickly rolled into the trees and dissapeared into the brush. Normally flying in a forest would have been difficult, but suddenly he remembered where he knew the scent from earlier.. and adrenaline was gushing through his veins. His rolls and turns were sharper and crisper.. Zeno was fleeing for his life, and nothing was going to stop him.

Issildia caught him by the upper arm to pull him back up, "It is not in our actions that we shall find victory, it is in our moments of defeat...that we find the strength to stand once more...now...get up" she said in a grim tone. "We have much ground to cover in a very short time." Issildia said as she turned to the east where the enemy forces were returning to. The acrid sent of smoke and blood assaulting them as the city continued to burn.
"We must make for the Eradonian pass, and from there to the borderlands of Larovia and the land beyond...Trenius Sekia. There is someone there that I must speak with....though I know not if he is who I once believed....But you must understand Sin, the road is dangerous and must be traveled with all haste."

Issildia did not even offer a harsh retort to his question, she merely shot a venomous glare at him before looking to the east.
"Let just get moving." her exhaustion well masked by her tone.
As the slipped through the surrounding landscape Issildia glanced at Sin.
"You do understand that we may very well be walking into the crossfire between the two kingdoms...after this battle, Larovia will seek vengeance..."
