Conan had finished with his pushups but didn’t want to take a brake at least not a physical one. Conan wanted to do what he saw Rhaim doing before. He was walking up the trees backwards and now Conan wanted to do that. Not forwards like he should try first but backwards right away. Conan looked at Haritenka and said “ watch this I saw Rhaim-Rhaim do it before” As Conan looked at the tree he was going to climb he thought to himself. (Now just how did Rhaim-Rhaim do this?) Conan started by thinking about it. His feet would be making contact with the tree so it should have to do something with his feet. Just taking a guess and focusing Conan started walking backwards towards the tree. Hopefully he wouldn’t look like a complete fool and just fall over. Conan himself wondered if it would work but what kind of ninja would he be if he couldn’t defy the laws of gravity. He wouldn’t be a ninja…he’d be a groundja… Conan didn’t even laugh in his head at that joke he made to himself.

Conan had his eyes shut when he started because he wasn’t sure how to hold the Chakra on his feet in the way that would allow him to stay on the tree. When Conan realized hat he wasn’t on the ground Conan slow opened his eyes. When he did he saw the world at an angle. Laughing Conan almost jumped for joy, but he didn’t, mostly due to the fact that if he lost his footing he would fall to the ground. Right where he was at right now Conan was only six feet off the ground. Conan didn’t want to end here he wanted to go higher and somehow celebrate it. Conan decided to do a moon walk up the tree and started on his way up. When Conan had watched Rhaim do this it seamed like he just did it. Conan on the other hand just loved every moment of his training and this was no different. He was walking up a tree how many normal people could say they moon walked up a tree. None that’s how many.

Conan was even higher now. He was at about the same height as when he was playing hide and seek with Kazumei now. Except this time instead of hiding in some leafs Conan was standing on the trunk of a tree. Enjoying this a to the fullest extent Conan started running down the trees trunk in circles like the stripe of a candy cane. As he ran down the tree Conan started wondering what he should do after taking care of being able to run up trees. Making his way to the bottom of the tree, Conan soon got an idea for what he could try next. Conan ran back up the tree towards a branch. Standing on top of the branch Conan got down into a running pose and said “ okay….ready….set…GO” Conan just ran forward as he tried to maintain his control over his chakra. This resulted in Conan running around a single branch. If anyone was watching he would of looked like a yo-yo that didn’t move at all.

Rhaim walked into the meadows from the library with a new purpose than that of all the previous times he had entered this training area. Now instead of aiming to complete everything on the course syllabus he was here to train on and learn a technique that was not in any way required for him to graduate. However the ability to set off explosive tags from a distance would greatly improve his ability to compete with future enemies. With a slight breeze against his back the young Nara took a closer look at the newer students this time around. However his gaze quickly brought him to where a small girl was practicing her Henge no Jutsu. Once again he wanted to go speak with her and at least learn her name but he would not interfere with her training.
Satisfied to see Conan climbing trees just as he had before, Rhaim set out to learn the new technique. A small ways away from the rest of the students he placed all six of his explosive tags on six seperate trees. According to the scroll that was now in his possession it would take a maximum of six successful detonations for him to learn the technique, therefore he'd set them all up now and now have to worry about it later. After the tags were set he brought himself about thirty meters away from the tags and spread his scroll out on the ground before him. He looked it over briefly and then placed his hands together and focused his chakra on emitting the proper wave length to reach the first tag and set it off.

Rhaim wasn't at all surprised that the bomb tag did not explode since it was only his first time trying to use the technique. However that didn't mean that he didn't feel a bit down that it didn't work. The boy looked down at the scroll at his feet in order to try and figure where exactly he had gone wrong. After several seconds of examination he found that he believed that he didn't focus enough on a particular tag but rather only on making something go 'boom'. If it was so simple as willing an explosian then people wouldn't have to concentrate on the technique so much. With a nod of the head and another sigh the young Nara readied himself to try the technique once again. He brought his hands back together properly and kept his eyes and mind fixated on the tag on the farthest left tree. His legs were spread evenly at shoulder width with the left slightly ahead of the right to maintain balance.

Rhaim ran his left hand through his hair as he failed to get the technique for a second time. He knew that it would take him time to pick up on a new technique that he was trying to teach to himself, however that still did not mean that he was not going to get a small bit frustrated over failing. He stepped back away from the scroll on the ground for a minute and closed his eyes so that he wouldn't let his frustration get the better of him and cause him to mess it up a third time. The young Nara boy took in a deep breath before stepping back up to the scroll and reviewing it yet again. It never crossed his mind that he may have copied it wrong since that was just an absurd notion to him to begin with. Though copying the scroll hadn't been fast or easy, it had been done correctly. The last thing he needed anyways was to begin doubting himself and getting even more lost on the technique.

Rhaim was not liking the way this was going for him at the moment. His chakra was steadily being used up and not a single bomb tag had been detonated yet. At this rate he wouldn't be able to learn the technique yet and would have to train on something else while waiting to try it again. That however was not an option that the Nara was willing to settle for if he could do anything to help it. He had done too much work already to be able to learn this technique and he would not let it all go to waste. The young lad spent a couple moments moving his fingers about to relieve some of the tension, as well as shaking his arms and legs. He was even able to get himself to give a good yawn, which he took as a good sign. It didn't matter whether or not yawning was a good sign since all he needed was some form of confidence that he still stood a chance.

Rhaim was more than a little startled by the fact that the bomb tag on the far left tree actually went off. Chips of bark and leaves were sent flying from the trunk as the boy actually managed to pull off the technique. Though it had done what he had wanted it to, he was still quite a bit shocked that he was able to make such loud noise as such a small child. He didn't dare look around him since he was certain that more than a few of the other students were caught off guard by the loud explosian as well. The young Nara simply brought his view back down to the scroll at his feet to review the basics of the technique yet again. Though he had been able to do it once, he knew that that had been more luck than anything else. He really needed to find out exactly what he had done right so that he could blow up the tags on command every time without fail. So he took up his stance again and this time focused on the tag one tree over to the right.

Rhaim was in no way surprised by the lack of explosian as once again his chakra release failed in setting off the device on the tree. Though almost exactly the same as when he had set it off the first time, his stance and mental process was slightly different this time around. Not because he couldn't remember what he did so much as he wanted to find exactly which parts of the technique were more important to get right than the others. Despite the fact that he knew that that was the kind of experiment that one does after they know the technique, the young lad still felt the compelling desire to perform those tests now. Either they would save him and allow him to fully learn how to set off far bomb tags, or they would be the cause of him failing to learn it at all. No matter what the result was he was certain that this training would make him a better shinobi. Though obviously knowing the technique would always be better than not knowing it. Ready once again he set himself up into an aggressive stance and brought his hands up to his chest and placed them together.

Rhaim was actually a bit dissapointed that after six tries to do the technique he had only successfully done it once. There was no way what so ever that if he kept up that record that he would be able to learn this ability at all. Realising that he wouldn't have the energy to blow up all of the remaining tags he walked over to the far right tag and took it down from the tree. After replacing it into his back belt pouch he walked back over to the scroll for the technique on the ground. If he was able to learn the technique today, at least he'd have a tag left over to use at some later time now. As nice as that was to know the boy still would have preferred to have been able to blow up as many of his tags as possible just to make sure he truly understood the technique. Standing back in place the Nara once again took up his stance and focused on the left most tag.

Rhaim watched as not only did the bomb tag not blow up but it peeled from the tree and fell to the ground. The small boy lowered his head and stared at the ground as he walked over to pick up the tag and place it back in his pouch. Half of him wanted to laugh at how miserably bad he was doing while the other half wanted he pound the tags until they exploded and blew him up as well. Outwardly his eyes still squinted as usual and his mouth showed no sign of emotion. He only had enough energy to try to learn the technique three more times and he needed to perform it right twice out of those three times to learn it for certain. Muscle memory for this ability was very high but it was still needed all the same. The Nara walked back over to his place a focused himself on a different tag, this time determined to get it right.

Rhaim simply stared out over the tags on the trees as after eight attempts he had still only blown up one of his six tags. At this point it didn't matter how many tags he would have left over since he wouldn't likely learn the technique today. To be so close to the end and yet have no light at the end of the tunnel was quite disheartening to the boy. No matter how much he may have grown and learned, his sisters would no doubt not allow him to live down the fact that he wasn't smart enough to figure out this one ability. With a deep sigh he walked himself up to the tags once again and peeled it off of the tree. This time before he walked back he ran his hand over one of the two remaining tags just to perhaps get it synched up with his chakra. Though he hadn't read anything about doing that, he was willing to do just about anything at this point to learn the technique. After he had walked back to his staging point he took up his stance again and closed his eyes focusing only mentally on the distant tag.

Rhaim didn't even really notice as a cloud of flame and smoke erupted from the tree he was thinking about as the ringing met his ears again. In fact he though for sure that he had imagined the sound in his head and was quite shocked when he opened his eyes to find the hole blown into the tree downrange. He thought that this must be the perfect tease to only be able to try the technique once more and to need to be succesful on this last try to learn it. Though he tried his best not to, the boy actually started getting his hopes up that he might not fail at this after all. He even tried to remind himself that out of nine attempts only two had worked and so the odds of this one chance being perfect was slim to none. All of his logic failed him though as he got into a stance again and closed his eyes to mentally focus on the last bomb tag that he had set up.

Rhaim laughed inwardly at himself for even getting his hopes up that he would be able to magically learn the technique on the very last attempt. He picked up his scroll and placed into his pouch before walking to the tree and retrieving his last bomb tag. Once that was inside his pouch he slouched down onto the ground with his back against the tree and looked out over the rest of the training area. He closed his eyes and tried to think of something he could now to train since he had failed at learning the Jibaku Fuda: Kassei.

Haritenka some how started day dreaming well Conan finished his push ups. When he finally snapped out of it he saw Conan trying to run up a tree this shocked him a bit. "Not to put you down or anything, but you got hurt doing push up so don't..." Then he noticed that Conan wasn't just walking up a tree, he was walking up a tree backwards. "Ummm never mind." I got to get back to work. He scanned the scroll again, he wasn't one to get mad easily but this was starting to do it. It wasn't that he couldn't do it, its just he could do all the other one but this one. He slowly placed his fingers together, trying to see how they would go. "Ok I can do this."

Handseals
The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Each seal must be performed once correctly before being learned. Use the formula: [1d20 + Int Mod. = (#)].
