*Elle found an old book and picked it up. She cleaned it up and placed it in her backpack. She stood up and turned around her face, looking back at the fight. She reached for her dagger but then placed it back on her boot. She just stared at them...very quiet.*

A gunshot suddenly rang through the Junkyard. However, it did not come from Dusk...
From behind Deo, Kate lowered her gun and sighed, shaking her head.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." She turned and looked up at Dusk. "He had a gun hidden, He would have shot you without you knowing it." She walked forward slowly and replaced her gun in its holster.

Dusk blinked in shock and disbelief as he bent down and gazed at the fallen demon.
"I warned him..." He said, regret in his voice, "He didn't listen..." He looked up at Kate and felt a shiver run down his spine.
"Thanks..." He said softly.
