Dunno. Lab coat=>trench coat would look cooler but trench coat=>lab coat would further my goal of being Dr. Matrix instead of being Morpheus in a lab coat.

From what I've seen in the bleach universe they could technically be considered the bad guys.

Not Aizen per se, but Hollow in general. I mean what do they do that is so evil? Eat to survive? Is that really evil? And yet the Shinigami, the self proclaimed "defenders of life" commit ritual genocide against their kind because they don't think their food source is right.

Good point, Virgil..
But, you must see it another way; the Hollows still attack innocent humans, sometimes even children. That, even in a natural food source, still means that they murder. A murderer is, even if naturally made that way, a killer of innocents. Shinigami have a choice whether or not to cause genocide en masse, while a Hollow will wrecklessly kill anyone. Therefore, even if the Hollows are naturally killers, so must a Shinigami be; the difference being that Shinigami kill the Hollows so that they can protect humans from mass-slaughter.

Excellent point..
But in retort; mice, rats, bird, and squirrels can carry diseases of which humans are fatally susceptible to. So, in a way, it is justicefully right, as is a Shinigami's deeds upon the Hollows.
Both side is incorrect, but neither side can be justified as good or evil. Therefore, they both fall into "necessary evil".

That and there are other animals that attack humans for sustenance. Are they deemed "evil" and meticulously wiped out? Not so much. By that fact, you can't call Shinigami or Hollow good or evil. The Hollow eat and the Shinigami kill the Hollow because of what they eat. It's like vegetarians taking up arms against people that eat meat.
