maltzsan One day, in another FF forum, I read that somebody briefly quoted a FF12 developer interview. I learned that the developers made all of these torturing rare monster spawns, drops, and chests so people will be puzzled after a few hours of failure, and come out to ask for help and exchange information -- thus they talk about this game more. They call this "encouraging players' interaction". In my view, though, it has no good meaning at all. This is nothing but a technique to boost the game's popularity, by flushing players time down the drain! From another interview translation, a developer revealed that they made us miss the zodiac spear so easily, so we would have the motivation to play the game again.This made me really not like Square-Enix

I've always hated square-Enix but that was mostly because they didn't give games to Sega or Microsoft platforms.
Now I'm glad I'm no FF addict.

Funny story:
So there was this cute girl I saw, during training for my new job. As I glanced over at her, I knew I had to talk to her in some way, or fashion, but I wanted to wait until I was without doubt. A couple weeks passed, and I finally found it in me, to write her a note, and pass it to her, hoping for some sort of contact. Later on, I found out from my friend, that the girl I gave the note to, was her cousin's girlfriend. I swear life hates my guts.

I hate the fact that there's a girl who's all over me, but it's because she's huggy by nature. At least she has nice juggies. Other than that, no love interests here, for now, at least.

Every once in a while, I am reminded of why I hate "chivalry" threads...

Lord Vyce Every once in a while, I am reminded of why I hate "chivalry" threads... I imagine there would be a lot pompous assholes who believe they have a good set of morals trolling everyone and telling others why they are not chivalrous.

I imagine there would be a lot pompous assholes who believe they have a good set of morals trolling everyone and telling others why they are not chivalrous. The only threads I hate more than that are the "why do girls like assholes" threads. The thing is, many of these guys are shy and want women to come to them, and so they somehow expect women to read their minds and pursue them. And many more of them are just interested in bitchy a*****e women. And then there's Vyce and Koi....and I don't know how the ladies could ever pass you by.

The thing is, many of these guys are shy and want women to come to them, and so they somehow expect women to read their minds and pursue them. And many more of them are just interested in bitchy a*****e women. Not too familiar with those. Then again, I have vowed to avoid any general topic on Gaia about sex for this very reason. Merely thinking about degenerate gaians talking about this makes me feel so dirty that I now need to take a bath. If you ask me though, the most painful topics are anything in ED-Politics that you find to be downright absurd or flat out WRONG.

The only thing I can say to that is, in my opinion, there are no WRONG politics. Only ones you don't agree with or won't work.
There is a small, but notable, difference.

I didn't say that anyone's politics was wrong. All I meant was that a lot of people in that forum say things that simply ignore logic or reason. For example, conspiracy theorists occasionally treat the film JFK as a valid source to prove "second gunman" theories even though the movie is not a documentary and Oliver Stone admits to using artistic license, thus making the movie's portrayal of events as credible as a Wikipedia article.

I am sure of it, and I will give her the world. In other news, a friend of a friend is offering to sell me his car for $1700(and it's pretty solid, too. I was in it, when we were going to a concert we never ended up going to). It'll take me 4 months to save up, if I don't get a second job by that time. You guys think I should go for it?

Maybe there were multiple gunmen involved in the Kennedy assassination, but if the reasoning and evidence someone has to support this idea is clearly faulty and incorrect (i.e. citing a Hollywood movie as a historical source or failing to observe the laws of physics to explain Kennedy's head-jerking motion after getting shot, et. al.), what can you call a theory which follows this pattern other than "wrong"?
