"I don't really think she liked it there though." Anekio shrugged, looking down at the dragon, an eyebrow raised. "Isn't that from early, when you found Ran in the forest?" She asked, watching it with curiousity.

As Kei heard Mai-lin get closer to kitchen, he pulled out more of the colorful candies and prepared to attack. He peeked his head around the island counter to see when she entered. "And why would I make things easy for you?"
Yuhi watched the small dragon as well. "Yeah, but it doesn't seem too dangerous. I think it's just a way for Takeshi to keep an eye on her. If it's bothering you, Ran, we can try and get rid of it for you, but I don't think it will make much of a difference. He already knows where to find you."

"It's... fine...." Ran murmured, giving a small yawn. It frustrated her a bit- she was already tired again, though she'd had a decent nap not too long before.

Anekio gave the dragon one last look before hearing Ran's yawn. "If your tired, we can stay quiet. It's important you get your strength back quickly and sleeping actually helps." She murmured gently, closing her own eyes though she wasn't tired.

"But... I don't want to sleep..." Ran mumbled, even as her eyes drooped a bit. She gave a slight sigh and settled back entirely again, her eyes shutting. "Whatever... I'll probably pass out, anyways..." She murmured, relaxing.

"Cause you wanna be nice to me." She said, quickly aiming a m&m at him befeore flicking it. It landed about a foot away from his hidnig spot which made the gir laugh sddly and rub her head. "Wow...that was lame."

Yuhi moved the table with the food on it away from the bed, then pulled up one of the covers for Ran. "If you have a chance to rest, you should take it while you still can. Most of the time our lives are crazy and we get less sleep than we should."
The dragon crawled under the covers to lay on Rans legs, shutting it's eyes but keeping its guard up.
Kei laughed as he popped up from his hiding place, throwing his M&Ms at Mai-lin. "And you call yourself a ninja!" after his 'ammo' was gone, he ran past her, or tried to but she still stood in the doorway.

"He's right," Anekio gave a slight nod, closing her eyes lightly. "Besides, when you get better I doubt that you'll be able to get much sleep with all the things you'll be doing with ANBU and the Hokage." She placed the box of pocky down beside her chair, relaxing again. "We'll be quiet, so don't worry about us disturbing you."

"Don't worry about it... if I wake, I wake..." Ran mumbled, her breathing already starting to slow to that of one asleep. Soon, she was entirely asleep, only coughing a few times in her slumber, otherwise seeming a lot better then when they'd found her.

"Poor girl," Yuhi said as he watched Ran sleep. "So much trouble already and she's still young. Anekio, what do you think our chances are of taking Takeshi down or capturing him? If my father had trouble with him while you were there..."

Anekio frowned a little, looking down at the ground. "I wasn't really much help though, with the low charkra and such. I think we should try to get soilder pills that way we'll be able to handle anything if worse comes to worse." She sighed, "But we can't leave Ran's side. Perhaps we should get a nurse to do it." She suggested, keeping her voice soft. Even if Ran wouldn't really mind, she didn't want to wake the girl.

"I hope the Hokage manages to get that squadron of ANBU, then it would be no problem. I...am going to go there with them. I need to see him die or at least suffer for what he did to my father." Yuhi looked out the window and gave a sigh. "I know we're not supposed to fight for revenge or get carried away with it, but when the person who did it is coming right to me...you understand, right Anekio?" If something happens to me, Kei will be all alone. He...can pretty much take care of himself now. He'll be okay...right?

Anekio looked back up at him, taking a deep breath before answering. "You know, I think there's something I should tell you. Mainly...well, about my past," She looked back down at the floor, trying the think of how she'd connect the words together.

Yuhi frowned, still looking out the window. What does her past have to do with me? he thought. "Your past? We're not related or something, are we?" That would be awkward considering the fact that I really like her.

"Uh...no. If we were related I don't think I'd be dating you." Anekio rolled her eyes slightly. "The thing is, I know what it's like from both sides." Her voice went quiet immediatly as let out a soft breath of air. "You want to avenge your father like my own wanted to avenge his clan, right? Well, I know what it's like to be in Takeshi's shoes... Far more than I ever should've. You're almost going to hunt him, but not exactly... You won't, well, run after him like my father did, but you'd be willing to kill him with regrets, right?" Why are you beating around the bush with him. It's not like your dad is going to come out and kill you now, he's gone. You aren't looking at cold eyes anymore. The back of her head told her, not that she seemed to care.
