I got a new trumpet biggrin He's a bach, and very awesome. He's full of dents, though, but I named him Fredrick. He's going to be my new school trumpet, because he's nicer than Clarence, and I don't want to hurt Victor. I've already inflicted a dent on the horn of Fredrick XD Damn band locker's so ******** high up I dropped my case on him D:

im have 1 trumpet this is my 2nd year in band i not super at it and im not bad at it.i think it is fun to play.i hope that one day if i become i missionary i would go to all around the world and use my trumpet to help people come closer to god.

I'm not very religous... but i'm fairly certain that many christian churches have choirs and if they have the money, an organ (and the space 0.0)... music brings people together. wether he just plays the music that he may write as an expression of his love for god etc, or classical and jazz pieces to inspire kids to join music programs there are plenty of ways trumpet is useful. i'm going to china next summer(tibet) to teach music and english(no rude remarks on my typing... my brother spilled soda on the keyboard..its all messed up) and trumpet will be my main instrument lol

hey I'm working for on an audition for something... my main options are to play:
enesco-legends
hummel or haydn- concerto
hindemith-sonata for trumpet and piano
ayrtunian-concerto
tartini- concerto in D
I can nail the Hindemith, I've used i many times, but I'd liike to play something else. Hummel and Haydn kin of bore me, Legend sounds nice, arutunian... O.o frikin epic, tartini...... dunno haven't heard. What are your experiences and opinions? I have a little trouble with fast articulation.... which is why Legend is appealing.

Trumpets kick butt!!! i love playing the trumpet, me and my friends had a blast at band camp. i have 2 mouthpiece's, but only one trumpet sadly. but i am in varsity band in my HS. so i'm apparently pretty good at playing my instrument.
