I recently joined and I thought it would be a good idea if I introduced myself. So hey there! I'm Ramblings of an Alchemist. But you can call me Al or Ram or Ramblings or Rein! Whichever you prefer! I'm a touch socially awkward, so I apologize in advance for that.
I really look forward to interacting with all of you!~
Hey! Nice to meet you too! I'm new here too, so guess we'll be learning the ropes together. 3nodding

Welcome welcome! x3 We're glad to have you! o vo I think I said it before in the welcome PM, but let me know if I can help at all~! >w<

Exactly! It's going to be boring until I get somewhere in this guild and meet new people to add to my bio. Right now his 'history' is just an average boring life, so I currently don't have any sweet story until I actually get there. sweatdrop
I would totally 100% offer up my characters for interaction but most of them are either tied up or... not the friendliest :'D ;;; I'm not sure if they'd be of your interest for interaction, either.
But! I'd be happy to if you ever are interested o vo And I'll be curious to see how Kaito does on his journey x3 You're getting him a Froakie, right? ovo
Hay Shadow due to your love of beating up on poor Innocent pokemon i have a project id absolutely love you to help me with twisted If your willing to spend a little longer beating up a single NPC then your use to. Im working on a project called NPC beat down. In it im making 12 NPC pokemon for every type with two out of every generation of pokemon. These are competitive builds meant to make NPC building faster but grandly more challenging on the battle field. These guys aren't level bases so the moves are picked as if the pokemon was level 100 but its level is really what ever you set it to. They have held items you cannot take but can be ignored before the battle begins. ( exception are the mega's )
To help you'll need to roll for types rather then random select pokemon when picking NPC's also iv only gotten normal and grass type ready so it might take a while before i get the other 16 types set up.
These three are prototypes.
Bibarel Leftovers: Restores 1/16 of the holder's max HP at the end of every round Simple: Doubles the number of stages in a stat change effecting this pokemon Curse: Raise physical attack & defense one stage, then lower speed one stage. Skull Bash: 130: 1st turn charge, 2nd turn attack. Raise user's physical defense one stage first turn. Dive: 80: User dives under water on first turn, strikes the next turn Dig: 80: User digs underground on first turn, strikes the next turn
Dunsparce King's Rock: Effect: All physical attacks have a 1/10 change to flinch. Serene Grace: The chances of a move having an extra effect are increased by 1/10. Headbutt: 70: 4/10 Chance to Flinch target Zen Headbutt: 80: 3/10 Chance to Flinch target. Iron Tail: 100: 7/10 Chance of lowering targets physical defense one stage Ancient Power: 60: 3/10 Chance of raising all of user's stats one stage
Mega Kangaskhan +1.3 damage with all attacks. Parental Bond: Non multi-strike attacks will hit twice, the second attack dealing half the damage of the first Crush Claw: 75: 9/10 Chance to lowering targets physical defense one stage Drain Punch: 75: Restores HP to the user equal to 1/2 of damage dealt. Power-Up Punch: 40: Raise physical attack one stage Fury Cutter: 40: Damage doubles after each successful Hit, If not used consecutively, or misses, damage resets
So willing to try and give me a hand ?

Yes, I love Greninja. He's like easily in my top 5 pokemon, so I can't really say no to that. But yeah, maybe we could figure something out. I like meeting everyone's characters one way or another. Somewhere down the road at least. haha.

That fine dude. Pretty much ill give you three pokemon at a time to face off with. They'll be build to beat your but so fair warning. You can roll for their moves or control them yourself and items are optional for the battles. Pretty much just beat them so i can see where i need to improve on. Link me to the battle afterwords so i can review and that really it. sweatdrop
Grass is going to be OP so id like to test these three first. So upon your next grass type trainer encounter think you can take these guys on for me ? Try to match their levels to your own if you can please.
hoppip Eviolite: If held by an unevolved pokemon, their Defense and Special Defense are raised three stages each at the beginning of battle. Infiltrator: Ignores Light Screen, Reflect, Mist, and Safeguard Cotton Guard: Raise the users physical defense three stages Leech Seed: Sprays seeds on the target that sap 1/10 of their HP every round and restores that amount of HP to the user. Giga Drain: 75: Restores HP to the user equal to 1/2 of damage dealt. Silver Wind: 60: 3/10 Chance of raising all of user's stats one stage ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Sitrus Berry: Restores 150HP Gluttony: Doubles the effects of berries when eaten by this pokemon Crunch: 80: 7/10 chance to Lower targets physical defense one stage Acrobatics: 55: deals double damage if user isn’t holding an item. Damage still doubles if the item was used mid attack. Protect: The user is protected this round, if used in succession however, it has a 1/5 chance of working the second time, and every subsequent round after, a 1/10 chance until another move is used. (Priority +4) Recycle: Restore consumed held item during battle. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂
Trevenant Life Orb: All attacks do x1.3 damage, but the holder looses 1/10 max HP every turn. Natural Cure: The Pokémon's status ailments are healed when withdrawn from battle Wood Hammer: 120: user takes recoil damage of 1/3 of the damage done Poison Jab: 80: 7/10 Chance to Poison Curse: Lose half max HP and curses opponent. Cursed pokemon lose 1/16 max HP per turn. Pain Split: Adds User and Target current HP together then divide it evenly between the two ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

So two questions, do I need to take away from NPC count for these? Also what level did you want them at? If I use Greninja then yes the grass type has the advantage but I do have Pidgeotto at the moment, Noivern might have an advantage as well. Shedinja cant be hit unless the move is 2x or 4x effective.

Hehe x3 Niiice~ Two of my characters are getting a Froakie soon, and I have to admit, I'm excited to start strategizing with that Protean ability o uo It seems like it could be really fun to work with and fit it in with tactics and such. Well, I'd certainly enjoy getting to know Kaito more >w< Depending on whether you plan on keeping him in Kalos or not, I'm sure they'll cross paths. Though, Kaito seems quite sought after for interactions, it seems xD

Not at all xD You don't have to apologize for that, I was the one repeating myself! But anyway, of course! ^^ I'm happy to help, and good luck! o vo

You'll treat them just the same as any other NPC following the exact same rules. so yes you'll need to do the npc count and rolls. So just when ever you roll for a normal of grass type NPC let me know.

Wait, we can get the Protean ability? How and what do I have to do to get that. xD And I'll probably travel all over, I want Kaito to travel all over the place and see lots of things/pokemon!
I actually have no idea why I'm talking to you here, probably because I'm very dedicated to my new stalker role.

Oh yeah xD You can choose the ability (from the one's it can canonly have, obviously) when you get it, as well as the gender, and if you want, it's 'nature' o vo Ohh awesome! ovo Well, Jay is in Kalos already, training his pokemon and potentially going to catch eevee (ALL THE EEVEE OuO), and Marx is about to get tied up in a group thing, but is also in Kalos. And then Ajicka will be in Johto, probably, once she gets her eighth badge, which she's working on currently x3 And... Zakhav is in Sinnoh, but... He can be hit or miss on interaction >> ;; lol So I'm sure there will be plenty of chances for interaction as things go x3
I haven't the slightest clue yet... sweatdrop Not Unova though; my character (Alphonse) is originally from there. I'm guessing that you're starting in Kalos?
