Yuki stopped as the older woman spun around, hand falling lightly to the sheathed katana at her hip, but not drawing as the woman asked why she was following them. "Because I decided I would rather learn about this city on its streets rather then from some people in a giant tower." She said, indicating with a slight movement of her head Shin-Ra Tower behind her. "And you two were the only people not in suits or armor that seem to be staying in the city that were nearby. So, where exactly is this city?" She asked. Her stance had slid into a slightly wider one with a lower center of gravity unconsciously, on guard against an attack. She was probobly either paranoid or just away from either a war or a long continuation of combats that left her sitting on something like a hair trigger reflex.

"That's the name of the group they work for? Those guards were just there for my 'protection'." Yuki said, clearly meaning something else besides protection. She looked back at the tower when the woman said they did experiments and such. "Good to know." She said, looking back at the woman, her hand falling from the hilt of her sword as she straightened from the guard position. "I'm Yuki." She said, by means of an introduction. After all, the woman seemed nice enough, and she was human, albeit a bit singed smelling.

"Interesting way of taking a prisoner." Yuki said, referring to the fact she hadn't been disarmed or even heavily guarded, even with the three separate weapons obviously on her person when she arrived. She glanced over her shoulder at the building when Pheonix glanced there, and saw the troops massing as well. "Yes I can." She said in response to Phoenix's question. She didn't seem confused at the explanation Phoenix gave about how they were both the same person and such, merely filing it away to be confused about later. Her saying they were both their namesake also explained the burnt smell both had. "That explains why you look alike." Was all she really said as she turned around and the helicopters started taking off. This should be interesting...

Yuki smiled slightly when Pheonix mentioned robotic creatures. Those at least, she knew many different ways of dealing with. "You must have been doing quite a bit if they want to use heavy weapons inside a pedestrian area like this." She said, katana sliding out of its sheath, Yuki holding it backwards instead of the forward position many used with that blade type. She didn't like to kill most normal humans, but these people were attacking her, and she believed in self defense. Even if her concept of self defense got a little more... elaborate then most. "So, what are they likely to have anyway?" She asked over her shoulder too Pheonix.

So, odds are they wont use the larger weapons at first, just going to try to airdrop a first strike team while the rest arrive. Yuki thought, as she surveyed the street they would be fighting in. "If they dont fight as a team, then they won't win." Was all she said in reference to the Soldiers. She didn't know what the difference between them and the infantry was besides their weapon choice, but if they were normal, they were dead, and if they were cyborgs, well, that just gave her more reason to kill them all. She lowered her stance and, as the guns started firing, she was moving, darting along the street at the attackers. Her movements were more like short darts from spot to spot then a set run, which any good gunman would now could make hitting her extremely hard unless they were able to observe long enough. She didn't plan to give these men that time, even though they were indeed normal humans. between one point and the next, she was suddenly inside the enemy formation, and the carnage began. The yelling and screaming began almost instantly as the men broke their tight formation, trying to get some distance to use their guns for good effect, even as a single blade flashed through their midst, killing men with each stroke. As the robotic panther aimed another blast of its energy, a body missing its head flew from the massed infantry right at the things mouth, the beam hitting the body instead, and causing it to vanish.

Yuki was just beheading one more of the helpless infantry, already moving to another, when suddenly her vision caught a flash of blade-steel. Only her battle-honed reflex's saved her life there, as she shifted her body, causing it to slam into the Cloud sword on her back instead of cleaving through her shoulder. she stumbled and tucked into a roll as the weapon hit with more force then she was expecting. So that's why they use swords instead of guns. Seh thought as she came up from the tumble just outside the mass of infantry, and a single man holding a sword stepped out. One of the Soldiers, even though a Third Class, he figured he could handle this fight. After all, the killing the woman had been doing he knew he could replicate, so he figured they were about equal. Little did he know.

Yuki paused as the man stepped out, sniffing at the air. Human as well, but what's this other smell? She wondered, before sinking into her concentrated combat mind. This man seemed confident he would win. Time to shatter that confidence. Another of her darting moves and she was in his face, sword flashing at his unprotected side. His parry bounced her sword off, and she was in flowing motion, the next strike coming from another direction. This kept repeating as he was driven backwards into the infantry mass, keeping them from shooting for fear of friendly fire. The man's easy confidence had faded as it seemed his opponent was not tiring even with the powerful strikes she was hitting with, but he couldn't find an opening to attack without exposing himself to a hit, and he could tell from the strikes on his weapon that that blade would cleave straight through his armor like it wasn't there. Then an overhand blow she launched didn't bounce, as the swords connected, she didn't bounce it off for another strike, but kept pressure on, forcing the soldier to keep the weapon up with both hands. Then, suddenly, he heard the sound of his death. Yuki revved up the until now unused chainsaw that was replacing most of her left arm, and rammed it into the mans gut, hard. The serrated blades cut through his armor and his flesh, violently disemboweling the solider in only a couple of seconds. His body fell to the ground, surrounded by the blood spilling from the wound as Yuki started moving again, out towards the robotic panther. If Pheonix didn't kill it, she would move in and hit it herself.

Yuki saw as Pheonix's sword bounced off of the robotic panther, and her katana flashed into its sheath as she ran, and she pulled out the massive sword on her back, the one that bore a strong resemblance to the Buster Sword. She darted side to side diagonally as she closed on the panther, causing its next shot with that laser to miss, smacking into a wall somewhere behind her instead. She leapt up off the ground, soaring over the panther as it tried to track her. She smacked into a wall, landing feet first on it, then kicking off the wall, straight down at the panther. The massive blade flashed down, just as fast as the katana blade, smashing into the panthers head. The blade ripped into the head plate, but didn't quite breach all the armor plating on the head. Yuki landed on the head, ripping the sword from the massive slash hole. As she raised it up, it looked like electricity was suddenly pulsing through the blade, and as she struck again as the panther tried to dislodge her, it literally cut the head into two separate pieces, both attached to the body. She jumped lightly off as it collapsed to the ground, sliding the massive sword back into its holding straps, and pulling the katana back out as she eyed the group of infantry. It almost seemed like she was picking out more targets, at least to them.
