Food was making Danny forget about things right and left, after his slightly scary introduction to the Gastly he had gone on about his business only to have inadvertently offended it. After sticking its tongue out at him and going off on his merry way, he waved and called out a feeble, "Sorry," around a mouthful of pancake and granola.

Alex nodded at the good news, "We can always use a water pokemon to keep some cloths wet so we can keep his temp down." She was talking to Lumina, but was watching the mewtwo.
Until the offer for pancakes and bacon was made. Then she grabbed some of that and started eating her breakfast.

Claret and Kiyo jumped up a bit when they heard a whinny out from behind them. They turned around and saw another Ponyta that seemed to be wandering about on its own. Kiyo scanned the area to see if there was any distraught trainer that looked like it was searching for someone, but there was none so he walked over to the solitary Ponyta and patted its snout.
"Good morning to you too!" he said and held out a pokeblock for the Ponyta.
Claret eyed the newcomer suspiciously but saw that her idiot...uhh...current owner was friendly with it, so she decided to come and greet it too. Claret neighed a hello. Where's your owner? she asked the other pokemon.

 Lisa yelped as she saw the bacon burn and slid the last, extra crispy batch of bacon onto a plate. She set the plate down where everyone could reach it, looking rather embarrassed, and took the pan over to wash it in a nearby stream. She worked quickly, coming back in a matter of minutes with Sleipnir in tow, all saddle-bagged up and ready to go. She'd already packed the pan away, and waited for the bacon to vanish before she took the plate and wiped it down with a wet cloth before putting both the plate and the cloth away. She quickly mounted Sleipnir and looked around. She hoped she hadn't made herself look like too much of a fool.

His mind was going at a snail pace, he turned to look at the person addresing him. Is this a boy or a girl? Wait, they are speaking......Caffeinated water? What the hell is that....Then another part of his brain scream out like drug addict 'CAFFEINE'. After that, most of his mind went back to acting like a static tv screen. "Ok......"  "It's flavored water, don't worry." She gave a reassuring grin, "Letsee.. kiwi, strawberry, or orange?"

@ Chi Opal looked over to the boy Danny, who looked rather shaken from his introduction to Nerezza and all of her attitude. She stood up and walked over to the boy, sitting down by him. She smiled. "Sorry about that. Nezz really doesn't like strangers, but you get used to her." She glanced at the Gastly by her shoulder who was rolling her eyes and then turned back to the boy. "My name is Opal. What's yours?"

Lady_Shinigami @Mist Kayla looked over at Lumina and chuckles. "You mean Snookie's appetite? Not likely. He can eat any time, anywhere. Though I do try to limit his food. I have some of his snacking if he gets antsy and starts bothering others for food."

Corn chuckled. "Or maybe you've got a knack for finding people with noisy thoughts. Or crunchy breakfasts." She reached for her shoulder bag. "Speaking of which, have you eaten yet? I've just got hard tack, jerky and dried fruit, but food's food if you've not had any."
Meanwhile, Emily the Eevee had finished her breakfast and came over to paw at Corn's leg and demand something or other. She barked an imperious "Vee! Vee eee!"

Once she was finished, the item was replaced in her bag, and she nodded a Rhia. "We'll have to cross our fingers then, huh?"@Gwynnie:Fuutarou sensed the eyes on him, and he quickly turned to sent Lisa a curious look. He was used to getting stares, but this girl seemed almost transfixed... After a moment, he casually motioned to the bacon, a silent indication that it was beginning to char.
Lumina winced at the mere thought of the flaking sunburn, "Uggh. Well, if there's a lot of pokemon, I'd be willing to chance it." She rubbed her forehead, "Er, maybe with a tent on wheels and built in AC."

Alexa wasn't going to get a pancake but when Vincent heard the word he began walking over to the person making them. He barked and wagged his tail. He would wait for her to toss one at him unlike that Dragonite who was just stuffing its face. Alexa shook her head at him. Vincent was a glutton.
Looking back to Lumina she shrugged. "Nah. You just didn't have a pokemon big enough to haul all of your stuff if you had more than that. You probably packed fine for you."
Apolla was a sponge for attention. She was soaking up all of the pettings and love Lumina was giving her. "Vul."
Stribog seeing Apolla getting so much attention squawked at her. "Blu! Swablu!" He received a glare from the Vulpix in return.

"Well, I am going to go to the creek to get washed up before we leave." Kayla managed to steal some of the pancakes that was still safe from Snookie's reach as he was still stuffing his face on his next 5 pancakes. She doesn't even bother talking to Snookie as he wouldn't listen while eating anyway.
With that, she released, Adira (shiny rampardos), Orpheus (shiny umbreon) and Quintrell (vaporeon) so they could have breakfast as well. "Go on, guys. Eat up before Snookie eats everything. I'll bring Hea (Girafarig) with me to keep me safe and warn me if we are abou tto leave."
The gang nodded in understanding but Orpheus, who just ignored Kayla and lept out of sight to find his own food and be away from stupid humans and they stink.

x_Nata_x Liam awoke to the sound of other trainers moving around, packing up the campsite and getting ready to head out. The healer groaned a little, petulant, before lazily wiggling out of his sleeping bag, jerking his hands back as they touched dewy, wet dirt. Around him, everything had a layer of sheen to it, from the tents to the fur of the pokemon lounging nearby. The little tufts of grass, barely enough for the tauros and ponyta to graze, collected the dewdrops in large beads, the light already starting to shine through them, ready to evaporate it back up.
Struggling with his sneakers, Liam wiggled his feet into his shoes and pulled on a fresh shirt, ignoring how the place next to his sleeping bag was empty. Somehow, he didn't seem surprised, even as he avoided looking in that direction, packing up the tent with an almost moodiness to his actions, so much so even Nitro took notice.

The Ponyta tossed her head. Who knows? she snorted in reply, clearly more annoyed than worried by his disappearance. She brightened at the sight of a pokéblock though, that odd little boy had given her nothing but granola to eat and had let her graze some too. It was like he didn't know a thing about pokémon.
She approached quickly, but just before Kiyo's hand she hesitated a moment before finally snatching up the pokéblock. It was wonderfully chewy and flavorful, nothing like the hard and crunchy granola.

He finished his bite this time and swallowed. "I'm Danny, nice to meet you, Opal." He glanced around for the Gastly. "I hope I didn't hurt her feelings," he said.

She got up and stretched lightly before releasing the Ponyta she'd rented. "We'll probably be heading off any minute now. Best pack up."

The noise of the camp eventually woke Shina. "Oh, morning already?" She unwraps her makeshift bedding from herself and sets about stowing it away. "Thanks for keeping me warm, Rasha." Shina looks around to see if there is a campfire she can join for breakfast.
