Crap crap crap crap!!!! Kaji was finding himself in an absolute mess. He was trying to look calm and felt Alona knew what was going on. He didn't want Aia to think he liked her. He wasn't even sure if he liked her. She did look cute and he did like her personality a bit, but he was just having trouble finding out what to do. He took another bit of sushi and swallowed it whole in his nervous state of mind.

Aia looked back at him, her face serious as she gave him a worried look and put her hands on his shoulders. What's wrong, why are you eating so fast, are you hungry? Do you want me to get you more food, I will! she said quickly. She ducked under the table and climbed out as she rushed over to the machine and thought for a minute. She wasn't sure what he would like so she ordered a large dumpling and scanned her Ria I.d.. The machine soon gave her food and she smiled saying thanks, even though it wasn't human.

Slowly standing up Alona stroled over to Aia.
Leaning over she whispered in her ear.
"He doesn't have a fever, he likes you hun!"
Giving a grin towards Kaji.
Turning she began to walk towards her seat.
Her hips swayed as she walked and the only pause was when she glanced back and gave a wink to Aia.
Wiggling he fingers in a cute way she turned her head back and made her way to the seat.
Plopping down she gave a laugh at the thought.
"Nieve girl..."
Shaking her head she popped a berry into her mouth.

He likes me.....? Oh I like him too, he's sweet she thought and then smiled back at Kaji. You like me? Well thanks, I like you too, I hope we can be the best of friends! Aia said, still as usual not getting the point. She handed him the dumpling that was on the tray and smiled as she then turned her head to look at the rain. She was fasniated by the rain and loved to watch the drops fall down from the sky. That was the one thing that she used to do all the time with her sister Faye, just sit on the roof and watch the rain fall. It either now made her happy, or tired, and now it was making her happy again.

Kaji refused the dumpling politely but couldn't find his tongue. He remained silent. Good god... Why can't I speak... She is so clueless but it just makes her seem cuter! He thought urgently. No don't think those thoughts now... If you do you'll keep on being unable to speak! CRAP!!! His mind still raced urgently and he started guzzling his drink quickly. "Um... Uh... Hmmm... Ah...." He tried to find his voice but was only making wierd sounds. GREAT! NOW SHE'LL THINK YOU'RE STUPID!!! He screamed at himself from his thoughts.

Aia giggled as she watched him, he was acting amusing for sure, it was strange, but he was acting so cute she just wanted to hug him. So she did, she leaned over and hugged him laughing as she broke it and looked at him. You sure your okay then? she asked him smiling happily as she took another sip from her drink. She had never fallen in love with someone and didn't plan to, she liked having friends. However if such a thing did arise then she just might take up the offer of it, she wondered if it would. Then she got rid of these thoughts as she gave him another cheeky smile as she giggled slightly. ((fear my cuteness))

Kaji went stiff as he was hugged. Great... She's coming on to me! He thought urgently. He tried to ignore it and went back to his drink then started his befuddled attempts at speech. "Ah......" He still couldn't find his tongue and shut his mouth. Dammit Kaji pull it together!!!! He thought full of annoyance at himself. You can't let a hug get you like this! Well regardless... I ain't making the first move... If she thinks I like her in that sense she just has to show she likes me instead... He thought stingily.

Aia turned to him, she was getting worried again, he still wasn't forming real sentences. She wasn't sure why he was acting like this and just shrugged it off figuring he must be tired....or something. You sure your fine, your acting really weird she said to him as she glanced at him for a minute. Then she added happily Thanks for being so sweet, I hope you'll be my best friend, okay? she said to him but rather asked. She hadn't had a best friend since she had lived in Tokyo and that had been years.

"Ummm... I'm fine..." Kaji muttered the only two words he could. He heard the words 'For being so sweet' and immediately turned completely red in the face. He was so nervous he took his lighter out and started playing around with it again, only the normally graceful process became more erratic and erroneous. PULL IT TOGETHER!!!!! His mind screamed and he immediately found his voice again but his face was still red as the sun.

Aia smiled at him though the clueless look was plastered to her face as she smiled. She then stood up and walked out of the booth, but had to lean against the edge of the table and stepped over his feet. She then grabbed the empty trays and threw away the garabage and set the trays away. She walked back over to him smiling as she then sat down by him again and looked up at him. Hey wanna go to the sakura picnic with me? I'm hoping to bring some friends with me so I'll have a lot of fun, so you of course were my first choice. Your just so nice I wanted to see if you would say yes she said smiling brightly.

"You mean date?!" Kaji said surprised. "You're asking me out?!" He exclaimed with a mix of happiness and surprise in his voice. He hugged her happily. "The answer is yes!" He exclaimed happily. Now you're just acting ridiculous... But who cares!? Hugging is one step on the ladder to handholding! He thought. He let her go and tried to calm himself down. "Alright... Sakura Picnic... Right..." He muttered.

Aia stared at him for a moment, she really didn't want him to get the wrong impression, but she hated for that look on his face to go away. Um...Kaji-kun....I didn't really mean date, I ment as friends....but you were just joking right? she asked him her eyes worried. It wasn't like she wouldn't date him she just thought that he was kidding. She looked at him still worried before she hugged him again and held the hug on longer this time. Kaji...your like my best friend so far she said as she broke the hug and smiled at him.

"Oh... Uh..." Kaji's expression faltered for a second. "Yeah! I was joking!" He said laughing nervously. "Eheheh... Yeah... Just a joke..." He sighed. Great... Now she doesn't like you in that sense... Just perfect... Way to go casanova... He thought sadly. He picked at the dumpling and sighed quietly his happy expression gone.

Hey no reason to be sad, smile huh? she said giggling as she looked at him. She wondered if he was joking then why his expression had changed so greatly but didn't think much of it. She laughed as she brought her hands to his mouth and put them on both corners so he was forced to smile. She let go as she laughed and then hugged him again, she really liked talking and hugging him, more than most people. He really must have felt like her best friend already, and she was exicted to have one again.

Kaji let her make him smile but let it drop the moment she removed her hands from his face. He let her hug him and hugged her back but he really did like her. He actually wanted to be her boyfriend as hard as he found it to believe. He sighed and spent a few minutes in thought while he picked at his dumpling some more.
