Alayna jumped at the sound of the all to familiar voice. She was so freaked that her body slid off the window ledge and into Hiro's arms. His hold was so comforting that Alyssa nearly attacked him with a kiss. "H-Hiro..!" She shrieked weakly, wrapping her arms around his neck tightly and pulling him into the tightest hug she could muster.

Her chocolate orbs were closed tightly as if afraid of this meeting between the two was just a simple dream. She loosened her grip as he taunted her endlessly; she didn't like birds! "No..those damn birds have kept away from me." Alyssa retorted with a magical smile, her fangs glistening from lack of feeding; the hospital had been keeping her on this substitue blood that cleaned her teeth; the bastards.

The vampress launched herself at Hiro with impressive strength even though her legs killed her with an immense pain. She fell to the floor, landing ontop of Hiro with a bright smile. She couldn't help but be happy knowing that he was alright, but that means the doctors were lying. Alyssa would deal with that later. "Y-You're alright!!"

"Yes..they have learned their lesson. Do not mess with Alyssa...get your a** whooped otherwise." Alyssa chuckled contently as they laid there together on the cold, tiled floor. However, she sensed something was still wrong with him, and took notice of his still broken wings; the guilt flooded Alyssa immeaditely. "Your wings...I'm so sorry Hiro.." She nibbled on her lower lip with a immense guilt hanging over her.

She let her hand travel over his cheek, letting her thumb caress it gently. "I'm glad you're alright...I've been so worried since I woke up..and..you weren't with me.."There was a fear swelling within her earth colored hues; a fear of losing him. "I...thought...you..were.." Alyssa swallowed hard, unable to finish her sentence.

The doctor stood in the doorway with a regretful frown placed upon his worn lips. He had a surge of guilt whip through him when both the students collapsed onto the floor with the largest smiles he had ever seen from either of them since they had arrived. "I'm sorry..for separating you two...I thought it was best.." There was no use explaining, but he gave it a try. "I'll just..leave you two to catch up." The doctor smiled weakly and quickly exited the room.

Totro walks in, holding his hand. Seeing a nurse scuttle by, he walks up to her. "Excuse me, but I have a rather nasty gash." She replied, without looking at him "Please take a number at sit down, sir. "Look." Totro said, removing the blood-stained cloth from his hand. "Ooh..." The nurse said. She gave him a bottle. "Rub this on there. It should stop the bleeding for a while. It won't close up the wound, though. Here's a number, now go rub that solution on your wound as you wait." He took the bottle and the paper with the number on it. He thanked her, and sat down in a chair.

"Still the quiet, shy young man I knew as well." Alyssa teased, bringing her lips to his gently in a delicate kiss. She pulled away after a moment, the longing to kiss him grew larger as her lips parted his, but they had to catch up on some stuff before anything happened. She giggled innocently, and nodded as he reassured her about his damaged wings. "Alright..well..that's good." The vampress was reassuring herself more than Hiro, trying not to blame herself for this entire predigament.

She buried her face into his hand, the touch comforted her limitlessly. Her lips pressed against his palm tenderly before returning her chocolate hues back to Hiro. "I don't know what I would've done if it had been true.." Alyssa had yet to admit her true feelings for Hiro, but never found a good time to. She had always had this secret fear of rejection; never able to rid herself of it.

The sound of the door clicking closed made her jump; everything seemed to startle her now even though it was so soft. If her heart were beating it would have skipped a few beats. "I...walked for the first time since we arrived here.." Alyssa admitted with a defeated sigh. She felt so helpless admitting such a weakness. "You may go..but..I don't think I'll have the strength I once had for a few days." The thought of leaving this horrid place made Alyssa want to walk out hand-in-hand with Hiro, but walking around made her stomach twist in agony. Knowing she couldn't right now hurt the vampress.

"I have a feeling those two are not going to be within our care much longer...they are sick of us." The doctor mumbled to a crew of nurses within the break room, a frown plagued his lips. "Whether we like it or not." One of the nurses went wide-eyed, and another gasped. They all knew what both Alyssa and Hiro were capable of; the power the two held was astounding. It could tear the hospital apart.

One of the nurses stood up with a defiant grin, her hands on each hip. "Well...why don't I just stick those two in a coma till they're safely out of the hospital?" The doctor stood, infuriated by the suggestion. "That would be perposterous! We cannot put two students under without reasoning!!" He slammed his fist onto the table, making the nurse sit down with a defeated frown. "As soon as Alyssa can walk without pain we will let her out. Hiro may go when he is ready." The doctor nodded to the nurses, ending the conversation.

Alyssa smiled softly, finding his answer to be most uplifting despite the fact of what they were talking about. If she had somehow died because of all this..he would have cared. A wave of contentment hit the vampress, but it was due to his hand, and the fact he wanted to kiss her. "Kiss me if you want to then." One of her eyes opened, glittering mysteriously. Apparently Hiro had forgotten about her abilities.

"Carry...me?" Alyssa blinked with a befuddled expression, her eyes gazing into his own. Both of her pearly white fangs hung over her bottom lip barely; just enough to draw attention. "I don't think they'd let me go like that." She chuckled at the sight, and then the helplessness suddenly grew. Alyssa refused to become that weak; it was impossible to let herself be that humiliated.

A cold wind blew through the hospital room, but Alyssa didn't seem affected by it. Her multicolored locks blew out behind her, revealing how sickly she must have been within the past few months of seclusion. She was much thinner in her features than before. From lack of feeding it was as if Alyssa appeared in a dead state; more so than she already was. It was a sickening sight to see, but Alyssa has had to deal with it.

Alyssa grinned into the slight kiss, and pouted inwardly when he pulled away. Her eyes gleamed with yearning for more, but she tried to forget about it for now. She chuckled and leaned against him as his hands wrapped gently within her matted locks. Her face buried within his strong chest, feeling her fear of the hospital being wiped away; Hiro always made her feel safe.

"If you want to heal yourself first..I understand. I should be able to walk by then..I hope at least." The vampress grinned, looking up at him with a sof treassurement in her gaze. Of course she did not want him to leave, but if Hiro wanted to then she wouldn't stop him. Alyssa knew she could, but for once the vampress did not want to. He needed to take care of himself.

A voice...so far away, so comforting, helped her to relax. Her breathing regulated, almost 95% back to normal. In her dream, everything became a white canvas. There were no more scientists and doctors prodding her skin with needles. There were no more shackles around her wrists and ankles. Everything was becoming...blissful. Her dream started to change. There was color in it. A more happier note was felt. Serika felt completely at ease with everything around her. All because of a far away voice.

Hiro placed his hand that wasn't in her hair gently upon her back as she set her head upon his chest. He smiled warmly at her and then closed his eyes again, just lying there on the floor. He even preferred this to the bed since he'd been stuck in it for so long, though, that might have largely been because Alyssa was there as well. That alone would make anywhere more enjoyable.

As she spoke, he peeked an eye open and looked at her before staring absently up at the ceiling straight ahead. "Well, I'm only saying that because I'm pretty sure they'd tried to stop me if I attempted to heal myself so quickly after being released." He said 'released' as if he were being held here as a prisoner, which it kind of seemed like he was. He glanced back at Alyssa thoughfully for a second. "But, if you think they'd leave me alone, I'd gladly try it here so I won't have to leave. Actually, I could probably do it right now, but I'd... definintely be tired out by the end." He gave a small, somewhat embarassed laugh.
