What about Nathan? He and Lois have alot in common. Both are military brats, try to serve the greater good, both are willing to put themselves in harm's way to get the job done.

Cougar? You're five years older than him, its not that big a difference. He only sleeps around with other women because he's lonely and hasn't met the right woman... not the best way, admitted, but he is a good guy.
