serioulsy though, you know your a band geek when you wouldn't consider dating anyone but the kids in your school marching band.

Masquanade Nintendo Punk 05 i know they are called shakos, but we call em covers, but neway, you know your a band nerd when you forget the answer to what you did yesterday in history, but know every song your band played from the past 5 years. I like that one, but I don't do poorly in band. whee You know you're a band geek when half if not more of your school day is spent in the bandhall and that's no including before school and after school starts. yea, that's true for me. I have two classes of band every other day (in a row) and then I go to practice my clarinet during seminar every day... xp I really am a band nerd... anyways... i don't know any funny senarios for being a band nerd... smile

You know you're a band geek when...
you fall asleep in band class while sight-reading and you still finger your music perfectly.
(that actually happened to me on Monday and apparently it looked like i was still awake because our student teacher just told me to stop spacing out and pay attention, and that's when i noticed that i was still fingering my music without even wanting to rofl )

Boo-san Nintendo Punk 05 You know your a band nerd when you dream about marching band... Very frequently, I must add... Um, you know you're a band nerd when even when you don't have a flag in your hand, other band members tend to stay at least six feet away from you at all times. xd OMG!! That's sooo true!! lol.

Unfortunatly true. During Marching season, I get into a bad habit of counting my steps. xD yes, or when you turn to go in a door or another hallway, you make a sharp right angle. and when the military recruiters see you they ask if you've been any ROTC programs. 4laugh

My friends did that once, they were walking down the hall way and one asked how this part in one song goes, and they got to it and on the next downbeat they all busted into last year's show.. me and my friends do that all the time

I would stand in line for this
You know you`re a band geek if you get excited because the band is playing extremely hard music. i.e. Prelude and Fugue in Bb by Bach, The Big Cage by King [240 bpm in cut time >w>], et cetera, et cetera.
You also know you`re a band geek when you and your friends and|or significant other have contests to see how many instruments you can play.
Oh yeah. . . One of my husband and I`s only true fights was over him saying that I could not play the tuba, when I can. I may not be the best, but dammit, I can play it. Just because I have to think of it in terms of trumpet fingerings means nothing.
@Censored due to coolness - My friend Sarah and I did that with Stars and Stripes Forever. Someone played the first like four notes and we sang our parts. We stopped when we got to the piccolo solo because no one wants to hear us try to sing that high.
@delilah_wolf && Masquanade - My senior year I was in there 2nd, 4th, 5th, lunch and 8th hour.
And sometimes 3rd and 6th if I could find an excuse, like. . . "I couldn`t get my slide back into my French Horn", or "My octave key broken on my tenor sax".
@siflaly - I do that. . . I walk in almost perfect 8 to 5 steps everywhere. Except when I was pregnant. Then I just sort of tottered around.
I do have many people ask if I was in the military because I walk just like those people. :1

You know you're a band geek when you and your feinds walk down the hallway in step with each other without realizing it.
You know you're a band geek when you play DDR/Guitar Hero while going, "1 & 2 & 3 & 4&."
You know you're a band geek when you walk around telling everyone you see that your instrument is your baby.
i do all three of these. hahah.
